The service was great and the dim sum was exceptional!!! The restaurant's ambience was lovely! We will be back!

Absolutely delicious food! My favorite were the bbq ribs. Omg so tasty and flavorful. A friend and I came here to catch up and had the Palace Fried Rice, the vegetable dumplings, Vegetable Spring Rolls, 2 orders of the bbq fried rice, general tso chicken with brown rice, one green tea mochi dessert to share and Cauliflower general tso style. All absolutely delicious! Our waiter was super attentive and staff was friendly. The space is very clean and gives upscale vibes. Love the wall decor by the seating booths. I highly recommend this place. Our bill without cocktails (didn't drink tonight) was $99 a piece with tax and tip. I would absolutely come back here!

    Edamame & Sizzling Tofu

After spending the evening at the Muse paintbar, we needed to find a quick place to eat, knowing that there were snow squalls on the road and it was super cold outside. With the time nearing 9:30pm, we were lucky that this place was open and willing to seat us. First off, this was one of the fanciest Chinese restaurants I've ever seen. Very elegant. We ordered two things: Edamame Sizzling tofu with mixed vegetables The tofu and veggies were quite satisfying. The edamame was fine, but not the best and quite a lot to finish between the two of us. Then again, it was also quite late in the evening. Overall, quite a solid Chinese restaurant in the area. Especially if you don't want the standard takeout.

The service was excellent at dinner, with waiters attentive to our needs and cognizant of refilling water which was appreciated. The food was also very good: Calamari: 4/5 served with garlic chips and cabbage which was a little too much but the calamari itself was fresh and not greasy Xiao long bao: 5/5 Half Peking duck: 3/5 great portion and the skin was extra crispy however it was really really greasy Sesame chicken: 5/5 probably one of the best sesame chicken I've ever had - it was fresh and crispy and the sauce was not covered with sugar like most places Lychee peach tini: 5/5

Start a drink in the exquisite bar before sitting was exhilarating. The server seated us to the booth with stunning wall full of chinese ancient poem. The ambiance was phenomenal. Great for a date, party, or family/friends gathering. Service was great and food was breathtaking. Compare with other famous Chinese fusion places in the city, this restaurant is definitely a hidden gem. Both my family and I were impressed with how the chef controlled the temperature of the dishes and the way they deal with the filet mignon. From three cocktails , appetizers, soups, sushi, to the 4 entrees were all scrumptious. Looking for a fancy restaurant can accommodate two young kids just like a tough nut to crack, but we feel so welcomed and comfortable here. Well done the team. We will be back soon. Dine in before 6:30pm to avoid the crowds was highly recommended. No wait by walking in. The restaurant was packed around 7:15pm on Thursday evening.

Upon the Palace is a great new Asian restaurant in Tribeca. The space is beautiful and the service is very good. Their cocktails are also excellent with a decent wine list. The sushi is good. Although it is high quality and well done, it is nothing special given the amazing sushi options in the area. The Chinese food is truly outstanding, creative and delicious.

The service was great and the drinks were delicious. Very cute vibes and the food was just as tasty.

    Grilled 2.Grilled Chilean Sea Bass(14oz)-(14oz)

The vibe of Upon The Palace was immaculate. I went by myself for dinner on a freezing cold day, and was instantly soothed by the warm environment. The decor is beautiful, and they had holiday decorations and music that made the mood even cozier. The staff was stand out, with Elvis at the bar making great conversation and even better drinks. The manager Kevin came to check on me halfway through my meal too, and seemed genuinely interested in making my experience the best it could be. Plus the food was all excellent, stand out would be the grilled Sea Bass which was wonderfully cooked and the salmon belly sushi. I would definitely go back for the experience alone!

My favorite was the Toro Ssam Bap topped with a dollop of caviar and served with crispy seaweed. The fried chicken was a larger than expected serving with a tummy sauce and more caviar and the ribs were succulent. The ramyun has a quite vinegary taste but was fine. The lamb ja jang myun was unexpectedly a favorite with yummy noodles in a lamb ragu. Dessert was fun to share - chocolate ice cream topped with a sweet coating and with truffle shavings on top. Overall service was friendly but they forgot about us towards the end of the dinner. Is it necessary to put caviar and truffle on every second dish? I don't think so but even so the food was good.

Yeah Jeju deserves a Michelin for the entire experience. Reservation was a bit challenging to get…read moreso definitely feel like I lucked out. Was seated instantly upon arriving 10 minutes early for our reservation. Massive props to the service throughout our entire duration. When my partner went to the washroom, they instantly came to fold her handkerchief and set it on the table. Spent under $100 per person which I'd say is on the better end for value (though I am no Michelin expert). Toro Ssam Bop - my partner who does not typically like raw fish said this might be her favorite dish (or favorite fish dish). I think that speaks volumes. The toro tuna is rich, fatty, and balanced by all the chosen ingredients which leads to no overly fishy taste. She raved about the "tuna dish" for the rest of the day. Don't skip this specialty that is highly regarded across visitors. Clam & Sea Bream Somyeon - cold thin noodles lie in a bowl that is surrounded by ice, so a fun presentation. While the noodles themselves have a smooth texture and are tasty, I would say the entire dish is too lemony. Even the clams are hard to taste because they're covered in some lemon or lime. The sea bream had a typical fish texture and taste but also had too much sour tang. I'd skip this in the future, but if the lemon flavor were tuned down, the dish has strong potential. Wagyu Ramyun - raw wagyu beef was not in my partners interest but this was one of those top dishes I had to get. Spoiler alert, she loved the small raw beef pieces. Even if the description isn't a perfect match, I feel like JeJu Noodle Bar will work some magic and make it work. The broth here was rich, flavorful, and umami. There's some ground beef pieces for added flavor and the broth can be slightly spicy. Noodles were delicious and soaked up all the flavor too. Highly recommend!

I will say the portions are small for the price but everything we got was delicious + the service was fast. - Complimentary pretzel bread (4.5/5): buttery goodness. this alone is worth coming here for, and it tastes so good with the butter! one of the top complimentary bread at a restaurant - Tuna nicoise rice cake (5/5): generous amount of caviar, tastes so fresh and delightful - Truffle sashimi (5/5): fish was so fresh, paired with thinly sliced green onions and caviar. Stronger truffle flavor - Crudo di Catch (5/5): one of the thinnest crudo you will find. So delicious, light, fresh and bright! - Baked crab rolls (4.5/5): these were the perfect size and the crab inside is so large and plump and juicy - Hellfire roll (3.5/5): not my favorite (spicy tuna is mushy) but I am also not a huge spicy tuna lover. Its really good though but wish there was a bit more crunch factor in the roll - Otoro with caviar (4/5): classic, tastes as you expect, nothing mindblowing - Lobster mac and cheese (5/5): highly highly recommend. The lobster chunks are delicious and the rigatoni is perfectly al dente. Does not even taste too cheesy which is why I loved it so much - tasted more like vodka rigatoni with lobster :D - NY streak (4/5): I'm not a huge steak person but this was pretty good. Cooked medium, nice amount of fat without too much, and a nice crispy crust. Also thin enough too my liking so it does not feel overly heavy - Baby bok choy salad (4/5): I actually really liked this one - thought it was super light and refreshing and perfectly complemented the steak. Had a nice crunch factor from the bokchoy and candied pumpkin seeds Amazing meal, great for a group or celebration when you want to splurge a bit!

Being an older man i dress appropriately, especially given a dress code. Most of our party had been to NYC many times. There was a strict itinerary that included Catch. World Cup frenzy added to the fun. I know how hard it is to seat large parties, we had to wait. My first recommendation is to prohibit parties larger than 5. The atmosphere was dark but lively, i waited at the sushi bar who i hoped were Itamae do their thing. Then who i thought were delivery folk or street people walked in and were seated definitely contrary to the dress code. I would not have minded if there wasnt a detailed code and i packed clothes that displaced other things i would've brought. Once seated i think they tried some service recovery and they brought this bread that was artful, flaky and absolutely delicious, it had a seasoned whipped butter that was OUTRAGEOUS! They added the spicy shrimp that made me want to slap my mama. Then it went downhill. I ordered the salmon with fava bean purée (i had no idea what that was and was not tasteful), asparagus and spinach. Brussel sprouts showed up without the veggies i ordered. I gave the salmon a 'B'. However, our gorgeous server was gracious, apologetic and comped the entire meal. I left a bit forlorn and a bit ambivalent if i would return, NYC has too many other restaurants. But try it and write a review.
