Gus came out and because of the wait, one area needed a bit more fixing than expected because the carpet had separated from the backing. Gus fixed it all with remnants we had saved from our upstairs remodel. He also fixed the upstairs doorways that no longer had tack strips, as we had had hardwood flooring installed. He was here for about 2+ hours and everything looks GREAT. Scheduling was FAST, and everyone was very friendly and helpful. The pricing was about what I was expecting to pay. Not super expensive, but obviously a lot less than replacing the whole carpet! Thanks to Ernie's for saving our carpet!

He was very friendly and his customer service was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain to us our options as well as realistic expectations for our stains, etc. He was very pet-friendly as well and fell in love with our little Chihuahua. I also like that all of the chemicals that they use are pet-friendly and not harmful to pets. That was a big plus, especially with our kitty roaming around during the cleaning. They arrived on time during the scheduled window that we were scheduled for. I wish I could show you after pictures after the cleaning. Many of our stains are completely gone, and the carpet looks like it is new. The carpet did not take long to dry at all, and since he performed the Pet treatment, it smelled so good afterward as it got rid of a lot of the pet odor from our pets. I will be using them again without a doubt. They are an AMAZING company and I would highly recommend them to anyone in the Seattle area seeking a carpet cleaning service.

Johnny was very responsive and came out for a free, initial estimate. In the estimate, it was clear Johnny was not only highly knowledgeable, but also passionate about carpets & cleaning them. I received a reasonably priced quote and re-engaged Johnny for the cleaning a month or two later when I was ready. Johnny was communicative and responsive in our correspondence, making sure I knew what to do prior to his arrival. He arrived on time and spent the entire day going through a 7 or 8 step process for the carpeted area, including bringing blowers to ensure the carpet would be dry & ready to go within hours. When I had the time, Johnny let me observe and ask questions about the process. He was very professional, patient & willing to share his knowledge of the space (types of carpet, pH levels, treatments for various stains). You can just tell...he cares. So with all that said, I had nothing but a stellar experience with the family owned JRP Cleaning business - and would recommend them to anyone looking for professional carpet cleaning services.

Patrick's work was fantastic…read more I had ordered this service initially in order to both clean vinyl flooring and a carpet issue, but I had to change plans. Upon arrival, he was super chill and flexible with simply cleaning the carpet alone. The cleaning itself has made a night and day difference in not just my room's appearance, but how I feel walking around it. Grime spots and dark stains disappeared, and hard spots with gunk that had dried onto the carpet vanished as well. After the entire service was completed, I was shocked at how great a price Patrick gave for what I had gotten. I would have expected 30% or even 50% more than what I was charged, and it's definitely made me more confident in using this service in the future! He was also the one who performed the cleaning, and I appreciated both his pleasant attitude and his willingness to reschedule my appointment previously. That said, I'm unfortunately pretty disappointed with the actual service. When scheduling, I specifically explained that I was looking for a deep cleaning of the carpeted stairs and hallways. I also asked beforehand whether furniture could be moved and was told that it could be. Once he arrived, however, moving the furniture was never mentioned again, and I probably should have spoken up about it at the time. What surprised me most was the cleaning process itself. He used a hand vacuum, sprayed the carpets with cleaning solutions from spray bottles, then went over them with what appeared to be a standard Shark vacuum and another machine that, as far as I could tell, didn't use water or perform the type of extraction/deep cleaning I was expecting. The entire service took less than an hour and cost $180. To his credit, the carpets did smell better afterward, and he was very nice throughout the visit. He even recognized my screen name and jokingly mentioned that he'd wondered what kind of customer I might be...which was actually pretty funny. Thankfully, I promise I'm less terrifying in person. But ultimately, my family and I weren't happy with the final result. For $180 and a service described as a deep clean, I expected a noticeably deeper level of carpet cleaning than what we received. Instead, I was left with the unfortunate feeling that I could have rented a carpet-cleaning machine and achieved a more thorough result myself for considerably less money. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, especially when the person providing the service was genuinely nice. But friendliness and results are two different things. I appreciated him coming out and enjoyed talking with him; I just don't feel the service I received matched what I understood I was paying for.
