This breakdown was never clearly explained upfront, and it felt very misleading. At that point, I had no choice but to pay because my old lock had already been removed and I needed access to my mailbox. I felt pressured into paying a price I did not agree to and was not properly informed about. I would not recommend this company based on my experience. I called AFFORDABLE lock and security systems to have 4 indoor bedroom and bathroom door handle…read morereplaced and explained to the woman I spoke with exactly what we were looking for, a gold colored handle for 2 doors with locks in them and two bathroom gold colored door handles with privacy locks on them. I did not ask them about a service fee. The technician showed up on Wednesday an hour and 1/2 later than the window they gave me. He didn't have the hardware needed, he was not knowledgeable as we explained 3 times to him what we had discussed with the scheduler. He was here 10 minutes, told us he would be unable to get the hardware until next week, we are leaving on vacation Sunday so needed done by end of week. He spent 10 MINUTES, didn't do anything, and charged us $146.00 for the visit from Brandon to Tampa. This company is ridiculous, I called the manager and was told that their service fee is $164 so I'm getting nothing back on my $146; what a waste.
