They were incredibly rude, put me on hold as I was still talking, raised their voice and talked over me, lied when they said they'd have the lot attendant call me back that Saturday when he would be available to let me in. I called back the next business day (today Monday) to be told that despite my unsuccessful attempts to access my vehicle this weekend they would charge me $70 because it was a holiday even though they were open, a convenience fee. I didn't pick this company for my vehicle to be towed by but but please believe I will make sure I review them so others can be aware of the difficulties you may face working with them. They don't care about your individual needs and know that you need them more than they need you. It shows in how they speak to customers with disrespect and contempt.

The circumstances surrounding the tow were such that we thought the car should not have been towed in the first place. The apartment manager contacted AutoPros on our behalf and the AutoPros manager agreed that the car was mistakenly towed and offered to refund the money. The tow receipt, however, contained a discrepancy in the amount paid to retrieve the car. While working with AutoPros to resolve the discrepancy and make sure the proper amount was refunded, I was contacted by Stefan, a manager for the company. We had a lengthy conversation where, at first, we did not see eye-to-eye but, in the end, we agreed on what we both thought was a fair resolution. Stefan impressed me as a customer focused manager who cares about the reputation of his company, making sure his customers are happy and doing the right thing. Stefan explained to me all the free services and fee waivers or discounts AutoPros regularly gives to students. He understands that, although it is necessary in most cases, having one's car towed does create a major inconvenience for the owner, and he takes steps to lessen this hardship whenever he can. As we worked through our initial disagreement, I realized that I was dealing with a man who runs his business the right way. When we reached an agreement on how to resolve the situation, I was impressed with Stefan's willingness to compromise in order to resolve any hard feelings that I may have toward AutoPros.
