This made me exceptionally happy. Kraft dinner, a treat my child was very happy about. Delicious warm sourdough bread was offered to start. One thing I really liked about the oysters was that they were served on top of the ice rather than in it. I've been to places where the ice melts and leaves the oysters sitting in water, which isn't ideal. This restaurant clearly avoided that mistake. The kitchen was quick with our food and clearly held itself to a high standard of quality. It had been a long day for me, so maybe it was exactly what I needed. I had a chef's salad with salmon. The salmon was some of the best I've ever had (salmon is also a favorite of mine so I've had quite a bit). It was salty with a beautiful glaze on the top, I would order it again in a heartbeat. I had a bit of the burnt end poutine as well. I wasn't crazy about it but it was still very tasty. The gravy that came with it was delicious. The only dish I had that I considered mediocre was the salmon burger. Like I said before, I really like salmon and this burger didn't seem to do the flavors justice. It felt muffled by the bun and other toppings. To finish it off I also ordered the blueberry lemon cheese cake and the chocolate cake. Both of which were delicious! The chocolate cake came with some strawberries on the side that added a nice freshness to the dessert. The cake itself was a bit dry, but tasty nonetheless. The cheesecake was absolutely delicious and was my preferred desert. Topped with a healthy pile of blueberries, in a delicious syrup. It looked and tasted delicious (and was quite a large slice). If you are sharing all the food including the mains, and you prefer your food absolute fresh and hot, the server is more than willing to bring out your dishes as soon as they are ready (instead of waiting until all dishes are ready to serve the mains together). The mussel with dill cream sauce is really creamy, I can almost drink all the sauce by itself. The portion of Philly cheese steak is loaded with cheese and mushrooms, there is a lot of steak too. The proton is really huge that it seems like double the size of some cheap restaurants. Striploin is done well to my liking. You can almost feel the tender texture comes from dry age process. The only thing I am appointed is the fried smoked pork belly on the tapas menu. It is just too dry, and the pork is way too small inside the thick breading. Basically, you can't taste anything other than the dried breading. If it weren't because of the sweet hot sauce, I would not even put a second piece in my mouth.
