Although one can't order food from downstairs, they do offer great little cheese plates and meat trays that are ready to go on demand. We were there on a Wednesday night, which just happens to be their tasting night... Although I wasn't in the "mood" for a beer tasting, having the owner cotinuosly bring us a little sampler of the beers being offered made it hard to resist. We had a bottle of wine and a couple cocktails and ended up with a cheese plate and meat tray before the night was over. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The only thing I am appointed is the fried smoked pork belly on the tapas menu. It is just too dry, and the pork is way too small inside the thick breading. Basically, you can't taste anything other than the dried breading. If it weren't because of the sweet hot sauce, I would not even put a second piece in my mouth.
