The food was very good. We enjoy the Italian Steak Harvest bowl and Cilantro Lime rice bowl with shrimp. Both were delicious and left us feeling comfortably full with energy to continuing driving. The shrimp was marinated in the cilantro bowl and the dressing has a perfect balance of cilantro and lime. The cilantro blends in and does not overpower the bowl. The roasted pumpkin seeds and red cabbage added nice crunch to the bowl. The steak was cooked perfect and was cut into bite sized pieces before being cooked. My grandmother tried to take me out for supper here about a week ago, and we were greeted by the most rude and off putting group of staff I have ever encountered. A few of the girls I recognized from high school, just as rude and mean as ever. To start off, we had a reservation for 5:30, traffic was really bad and I knew we were going to be a few minutes late. I called around 5:15 to give them a heads up we were going to be 5-10 minutes late in which I got an extremely sassy reply from the girl on the phone telling me she "guesses that's okay." We only ended up being 5 minutes late, when we arrived the girl with the piercing on her cheek told us in a very snarky way that because we were late that we would have one hour to eat and then we would have to leave so they could give the table to someone else. Mind you there were only two tables occupied inside and 3 occupied outside. A family member from the states had prepaid for our dinner in American dollars, which was mentioned on the phone when the reservation was made. When my grandmother brought this up, she also simply asked how the restaurants exchange rate worked and if she didn't spend the full amount that was paid toward the dinner if she would get that money or if it would be kept for the next time. The girl tending to us didn't know and went over to the rest of the girls to ask them. They stood and huddled and talked for like 5 minutes before the girl came back and said she didn't know and that's out of her pay grade. My grandmother was confused and asked her question again to which miss Tori looked over and shouted across the restaurant that they don't accept American cash. We then re-explained that our dinner was prepaid and my grandmother just has a simple question about how the exchange rate worked with the payment method. Another girl then said that they didn't do that sort of thing there and that she didn't know what we were taking about. Another one then scoffed "fucking Americans." First of all, we are not even American, and that was just unnecessary. I also stated when I walked in that I am a type 1 diabetic and that my sugars were low. I asked if I could please have a glass of orange juice and stressed that it was urgent to which they replied they couldn't do that until we were sat and had ordered. They said they couldn't help us and that maybe we should go somewhere else. So we did just that. Shoutout to the STMR for amazing portions of food for the price and great service (they gave me orange juice immediately) Apparently my dad and his buddies went here a few months back and got food poisoning from shit tasting clams. It's really a shame because it's a beautiful restaurant and the menu genuinely sounds amazing. I was really looking forward to it, but sadly do not recommend!

Showed up at 8PM, rush leaving, 10% of the tables with people at them in the restaurant, didn't even get acknowledged until 8:18. Once ordered, the food was slow to arrive again, and we had to repeatedly ask the waitress for items she forgot and the food had a dried layer as if left under a heat light for too long. As a whole disappointed with the experience here and would rate it below average for the typical Swiss Chalet experience.
