Good pancakes

Good breakfast but a bit pricey. It was 30$ with tip both days I ate there. Coffee, 2 egg breakfast with bacon (pancakes the other time) and extra berries on the side. Not sure if this is typical of hotel restaurant breakfast around here, but it seemed a bit expensive for what you got. Breakfast was fast and hot, but I was there very early in the day, shortly after they open (I think that's at 6:30).

Barbecue platter for 2: Jalapeño sausages, beef briskets, roasted sweet potatoes, coleslaws, sautéed mushrooms, and mac&cheese.

Arrived at the Delta late last night (after 8) coming from St-Hyacinth, it was a long drive and we didn't want to drive out anymore for dinner so we just hit the restaurant downstairs which we would not normally do. Glad we did as our server Andrew was so friendly and we looked at the menu and the barbecue caught my attention. Hubby noticed there is a for 2 option so we went for it. Take a look at the picture below and I'd say it worth more than a million words! Sausages with jalapeños were hot yet not overkilled the taste of the meat, the beef briskets portion was more than adequate and the sides tasted amazing. The only thing I can say is if you are coming to Fredricton, You Gotta Eat Here!

Beef Brisket

Great service, Brisket and Ribs were very good. Ribs are side Ribs so a lot more playing with your food to get to the meat however they were cooked to perfection..

Half order for f Nachos. Yes HALF !

Service and atmosphere is really nice. The food just doesn't seem to be authentic bbq(not smoked).

I have visited Fredericton 3 times in the last three years, and get the sense that change does not…read morehappen quickly in this reasonably slow-paced college town. Up, however is a welcome change on the drinking scene, and fills a gaping hole in the previously pub-dominated nightlife sector. Decor: awesome -upstairs above the hugely successful Garrison on Queen St, tasteful and subtle lounge-bar feel. Wine: GREAT list, most good global regions represented very well, some interesting grapes, and nice to see HIGH quality Canadian bottles. Prices are really impressively reasonable for such good wine, and potentially pretentious surroundings ;-) Service: Knowledgeable and very friendly. DEFINITELY one for my 'must-do' list each time I'm in town!

What a awesome find this was!!! Up Wine bar is this quaint little space above the Garrison Pub…read more(Which is an old Dominion Bank Building). Seating about 20-30 people, this wine bar has a lot to offer. Great selection of wine both by the bottle and by the glass, easily broken down by taste profile to make choosing easier; good selection of traditional cocktails, beers, tequilas and scotch's. Although one can't order food from downstairs, they do offer great little cheese plates and meat trays that are ready to go on demand. We were there on a Wednesday night, which just happens to be their tasting night... Although I wasn't in the "mood" for a beer tasting, having the owner cotinuosly bring us a little sampler of the beers being offered made it hard to resist. We had a bottle of wine and a couple cocktails and ended up with a cheese plate and meat tray before the night was over. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. You can be sure that this will be a regular spot when I am in Fredericton on business in the future.
