Our experience with Dave at Auto Direct was appalling. After the dealership mishandled paperwork…read moreand delayed the DMV registration, it caused a string of issues -- all rooted in their own lack of organization and accountability. When my sister and young niece tried to follow up, Dave responded by yelling profanity at them. An adult man shouting at two women -- absolutely disgraceful. It was so unacceptable that his own brother privately apologized and acknowledged Dave's behavior was inexcusable. That alone speaks volumes. They sell vehicles with issues, overpromise, underdeliver, and dodge all responsibility when things go wrong. What's worse is how Dave speaks to women -- condescending, aggressive, and completely unprofessional. Frankly, it's a good thing it was just my sister and niece who dealt with him. Had it had been me in person the situation would've demanded a much more serious conversation. It's a reflection of how upsetting and inappropriate his behavior truly was. A complaint has been filed with the BBB. If you care about being treated with decency and respect, avoid this place at all costs. May the universe deal with David in this life and the next.

Absolutely terrible experience. **15 % HIDDEN DEALER FEE!!!…read more** Bought a 2020 Durango RT from Miguel. Thought we agreed on the listed price. Put $12,000 down.. and come to find out, he overcharged me on the truck $7,000, when I got my payment from the finance company a week later. This was never agreed on! You go in to buy a truck advertised for $35,895 and find out that's their price, that THEY paid, as if that's relevant. But charge you $43,000. Absolutely disgusting he would scam us this way, especially after saying we needed a safe truck for our young children. Let alone, they RESET the oil so I would think it's full. Mind you, these are charges that come with the price of the truck. Come to find out, it hasn't been changed in over a year and a half. Had my husband not been good with cars, I would've never known, as a trusting buyer. They also promised to replace the tires and sent us to a chop shop in union, to give 4 different brands of tires, from 2019. When speaking with Eli, the arrogant sales manager, he came with attitude and asked my mother not to speak since she didn't purchase the truck, when she was proving him wrong. Then ACK comes along and tries to fix this because he's mortified by how his staff acted. He asks my age to justify if I'm adult enough for him to speak to. I'm a 36 year old mother of two, a homeowner for 8 years, and have 2 jobs. How belittling, as a man would never be asked this. Do not ever buy a car from these scam artists. They're smug and arrogant and won't tell you about the 15% dealer up charge that's only on their website. Who goes on a website while INSIDE of a stealership? That's what this place is. A fraudulent stealership. ACK and ELI may have gotten away with this in the past, but karma gets people back in the worst ways.

My son was blamed for what should be the sales representative responsibility and the dealerships responsibility to have a set of keys already made before putting a car on the lot. Instead I was only allowed to have one fob/key combo, and a single key with no fob after complaining. My son tells them he was only available at 3pm, that was his fault apparently. The second time a gentleman by the name Frank tells my son after being told to see him that it's the first he has ever heard of it. No one ever calls you back in this place except for ONE person which was a sales rep Ramon. But the entire time I saw him after being frustrated, he tells me to come back later in the afternoon after telling me on the previous conversation that I can stop by at anytime. Which I showed up at 10 am, to only be told to come back at 12:30 because he had to wait for someone. I came back earlier to find out he could have just called the key maker himself and not have waited. And btw, I had to wait another hour for the key maker to show up. Then the finance manager continues to blame my son for the wait of the set of keys. And another gentleman decides to join in the blaming game as well....just bad customer service, terrible communications, no follow through, and blames the customers for their wrong doing....DONE...Never coming back!!!

Next under the hood I noticed the lining of the hood that you lift had some type of rough metal like someone put that there not sure why. On battery were extremely rusted bolts connecting to the battery which I mentioned to the manager who completely brushed me off and I ended up having to return car after less than 24 hours. They towed car that had to be left on side of road in Jersey city. They said they fixed car and we took it back then started having more issues again. The bottom line is I should've done my research and should have left after they said they didn't know car had a dent in it and windshield wiper was put in upside down... yet they say they have mechanics on site .. lol. Bottom line is buy from a certified dealership or name brand dealership because this car was definitely not looked over at all and they just put it out to sell .
