Following my initial experience, the owner personally reached out to me on Yelp with a sincere apology. Shortly afterward, the manager Ari called me and took the time to have a thoughtful, lengthy conversation about my concerns. She was incredibly attentive, empathetic, and genuinely apologetic. At no point did I feel that she was simply trying to dismiss my concerns or defend the situation. She listened carefully, acknowledged where things had gone wrong, and went above and beyond by offering me a complimentary massage with enhancements. While I certainly appreciate the generous gesture, what impressed me most was the sincerity of the conversation and the genuine effort to restore my confidence as a customer. That meant far more to me than the complimentary service itself. I've always appreciated the wonderful massage therapists at NOW, particularly Megan and Jennifer, and I'm happy to see that the management team cares just as much about the overall customer experience. Mistakes happen in every business. What distinguishes a great business is how it takes ownership and makes things right. No waiting in a Saturday afternoon and I was a walk in with my wife. Few things to note: It's a little pricey at $40 (cash price) for - mere thirty minutes. They start the clock the moment your feet go into the foot bath which uses up 5 minutes or so. The foot massage itself was quite good. Good pressure, very relaxing. And I like they have the chairs that are slightly more upright instead of lay flat. Easier on my back. There was no music. Just silence. That's new and unusual to me. So it's all about how much a value hunter you are.

I actually just wanted it to be over. They were nice and so was the front desk but this was a 100% waste of money. My dog could probably massage better than them.

I was a little nervous because I'd never had a massage from a male therapist before, but the woman at the front desk was incredibly kind and reassured me that if I felt uncomfortable at any point, I could let her know. Thankfully, there was no need--Johnny was completely professional, got right to work, and gave me the best deep tissue massage I've had anywhere in the Tri-Valley. After the massage was over, my lady went to the bathroom and there was a different lady at the front. She let me know that I had to wait at the front. As I walked to the front she asked who will be taking care of the $35 per person minimum tip. I said what? She mentioned that $35 per masseuse is what we should tip. I asked her that's strange.. in all of my history getting massages, I've never been told that there is a minimum to tip. She got very angry with me and slapped the table a couple times and said, I'm not going to argue with you guys.. just leave what you're gonna leave and go. I later realized they were requesting the same amount we "saved" from the coupon. I was going to tip them for their work but after the way she was talking to us and guilt tripping us for it, I ended up just walking away. Will never come back.
