I received a 90 minute lymphatic massage with a cupping add on (my first time with cupping) with Nancy a few days ago and I wish I would have taken before and after photos. My ankles haven't been this sleek in almost a year! Nancy is a great fit for me as a therapist because she is warm yet honest and she is so intuitive with her movements. She mixed pressures and while she checked in with me throughout just knew where to go and what I needed even though it was my first session with her. I am surprised how deep of work was done because the entire session was very enjoyable / no pain. My favorite part was the face and head lymphatic massage, so Relaxing! You can tell how good a massage therapist is when they first start feeling your body for the knots and tension. Nancy has a very good sense of touch and of locating problem areas. She is then able to switch between the 3 modes of soft, medium and hard depending on the problem areas that she's working on. Now that Nancy is working out of a new office I wanted to provide an updated review! Her new office located in Walnut Creek is spacious, clean, and quiet- it's such a relaxing space! Nancy gave me an incredibly relaxing but productive 90min massage with cupping. It was clear that she could feel the areas that needed extra attention and effectively focused on those specific areas. Love, love, love Nancy! She's incredibly intuitive, and although she always asks what i want worked on, she already knows. Like every other person with a desk job, or worsened posture from inadequate work from home space, my back is a hot mess. So much that she uses traditional Chinese cupping to work out the stubborn knots to get to the REAL knots. Every experience I have with Nancy is amazing and leaves me feeling MUCH lighter than I walked in. Above all, she is just a fun person to be around! So far I've had 4 massages and I'm scheduled for more. Getting a massage from Nancy has played a huge role in my recovery. Nancy is a great listener -- she listens to what you say and then listens to your body. She is light on words and great on understanding, meaning she's all about getting your body "right". The last time she worked on me was the result of thinking I was in much better shape than I really was and did an intense workout. It took about a week to admit I was miserable.
