Well, we'd both be underestimating this store. Before Christmas I needed a red dinner jacket to play an updated Santa. I found nothing at any other retailer here or in Chicago. Until I tried Men's Wearhouse. The really helpful staff showed me just what I needed. While they didn't have my size in stock, they did have my size in a different color so I could avoid ordering the wrong fit. Then when ringing it up, we discovered that it was going on sale the next day. They gave me the lower price and had it delivered to my home in 4 days.

I was called down to try on the suit, they had me try on someone else's tux and then told that they didn't have my info and had to re-measure me. I was late returning the suit as they were closed by the time I tried to return the next day; I will own that one. When I asked to wave late fee, due to the difficulty of needing to come down three separate times for measurement, they would not. Not once was accountability for the lack of organization taken, but rather displacement of fault; I will never go back there nor would I recommend this particular location to anyone. I would never had written this review if the manager would have been accountable for what happened and apologized. Wow, I just can't even.

A few garments I also had to put down because they just looked cheaply made, which I know is probably the case but they have some really thin fabric. Again, the store itself is great but the selection is difficult for my size at 5'1.

I was thankful for the help, and also for not judging me based on my size. As a bigger gal, these kind of outfitters are not always friendly to the plus sized crowd. However, the gentleman assured me that whatever wasn't available in my size or color preference in store could be ordered as long as it's in stock. The clothes are a little pricier than what I'm used to. I rarely buy clothes, but when I do it's on sale at a big box store so I know I'm not always getting quality stuff. I will say that everything I tried on actually fit well so shopping here wasn't the usual painful experience for me. I found the pants I was looking for, tried on a variety of others just to make sure I liked the ones I wanted, and was happy with my decision and overall experience. Honestly, I might go back to get a sweater that I fell in love with but don't really need. But it was sooooo soft and comfortable. Tourists or locals can find something here whether for themselves or to give as a gift. They always have clearance racks and discounted items (I've often found a cute sweatshirt or tank for under $20). Everything from hilarious t-shirts ("That's what cheese said', "Official brat inspector") to logo pint glasses, colorful socks, team hats, etc. They have another location in the public market but this one is larger and has more inventory. Definitely check it out for all things Milwaukee.
