Great Customer service from my guy Brandon it was easy going great with making thoughtful recommendations amazing process and amazing suits

This is a tough review to make. For one, the suit turned out great and I was happy with the end result. But to get there, I was less than impressed. I went in to get a suit for my wedding day. Everything went great and I was told the suit would be ready in 3 weeks. 3 weeks later, I show up for my suit. No suit. The lining was showing through the tan suit and needed to be fixed. No problem, but would have been great to get a phone call about that before so I knew to come in and switch it out. Suit is fixed and I was told it will be ready in 4 weeks. Great, I will make the appointment now to pick up. 4 weeks later, I show up for my suit pick up. No suit. The order was never placed. So I went through the entire process again and was told the suit would be ready in 3 weeks. Well, it's been 10 weeks and my wedding was in 3 weeks. So I got it fast tracked. 2 weeks later. I got a call that my shirt was in, but no suit. I had to call to ensure that the suit was in and stay on top of NL Suits. The suit finally arrived and I was told to try the suit on. No follow up from the employees, no apology, and they ran out of suit bags. I got my suit in essentially a dry cleaner bag. I paid over $4000 for a suit + tie. I was expecting service to match and did not receive it. I would check out your other options. read more

Looking for an incredible, tailored suit at an affordable price? NL Suits is seriously magic! This place came recommended to my boyfriend from a friend. We were skeptical thinking it would be much more expensive than a big box store, but wrong... The whole process from start to finish takes an hour at your first appointment. Stephanie helped my boyfriend pick out each fabric, lining, stitching, and buttons. She then took measurements and he was able to completely customize the style and fit. They then take your fabric selection and measurements to their tailor and create your suit within weeks. At the time we went in, Stephanie said my bf would be able to pick it up in two weeks at the second fitting appointment. Amazing turn around for a customized suit! read more

I would give zero stars, but that is not an option. The service was a disgrace. At the fitting, I was told I would receive a call about my order in about three weeks. For some reason that was never explained to me, my order was never placed with the factory and I was never called as promised. I learned about this six weeks later when I called to follow up on the order. At that time, I was assured that my order would be expedited to the factory and I would be called when it was ready. Six weeks later, I followed up again and was told that my order was in and that I was not notified of this fact because it is not their process. 12 weeks later, I received not a single phone call from NL Suits and still do not have my order. All I got from the manager when I explained the situation was an insincere and superficial "sorry about that." read more

Nas is magical. The process of picking out the fabric and finishes of a suit is amazing, but the magic happens in the fitting process. They were busy, but didn't rush the fitting at all. The result is amazing. Rick wore the suit last night and 30 seconds after we left our hotel in Chicago, a gentleman said "That suit is DOPE". It really is. read more

I got 4 custom shirts, 3 suits and a suit jacket. Everything was a bit too small and I asked them to fix it. They said they would and never did. I even brought it back to them and they sent it back without making any adjustments. I asked again and they said they would send me a shipping label to send it back and never did. Took things to a different tailor to get it fixed. read more

I got married in Jamaica in January 2020. Because we were having a Destination wedding my husband and I decided that we were going to treat our groomsmen to custom made suits from NL Suits. The process of getting the groomsmen fitted and measure for their suits was incredibly easy, even considering the fact that we had a groomsman from out of state and a groomsman who had to fly in from Norway to get fitted. Luckily it worked out for our groomsmen from Norway to fly in to get fitted for the suit but the staff at NL had a backup plan in place in case he couldn't make it for an in person fitting. The staff were willing to do measurements via video with our groomsmen. While our groomsmen all made sure to get fitted for their suits in time, unfortunately my husband did not. He waited until just before Christmas to get fitted for his suit, and Kelsey at NL had to regretfully inform us that their factory would be shut down due to the holidays and my husbands suit wouldn't be done until after our wedding date. I started panicking, but Kelsey called the owner to see if there was anything else that could be done. I then received a call from the owner who asked the factory to open up a day or two early so that my husbands suit would be ready in time for our wedding. Considering this was 100% an avoidable situation on our end, I was not expecting such good news. I'm so incredibly grateful to the staff at NL suits for going above and beyond for helping make my wedding day go as smoothly as possible. The quality of the suits was, as always, amazing. read more

Yes, it is a bit pricier than a made to measure from a big chain, but the service and final product is ABSOLUTELY worth every penny. I've never had anything other than off the rack before so I was blown away by everything about NL Suits. The staff were incredibly detail oriented when taking my measurements and asking how I wanted the suit to fit. They gave me fit recommendations for what might look best for my body type and the style I was going for, but I never felt forced into any decision. They were patient and gave me all the time I needed to make a decision on the abundant material and styling options. This was greatly appreciated because they have seemingly endless options from the kind and color of material the suit is made of to the color of thread used in some of the accent stitches. I ended up getting a navy wool suit with a maroon world map interior. I have truly never been so attracted to a piece of clothing as I am the suit I got from here. If you're thinking to yourself, "how could he possibly be attracted to a suit?" why don't you just go and find out for yourself. Most importantly, I had no idea looking so good could be so comfortable. As soon as the suit jacket hit my shoulders I knew they nailed every measurement. If you've ever thought to yourself that Bond movies are unrealistic simply because no one can move like that in a suit, you've never had one made just for you. I thought the same thing until I put mine on. Now I'm ready to engage in international espionage, as soon as I Google what the word "espionage" means... I did also get a custom shirt and it is the best, most comfortable dress shirt I've ever had. NL Suits ruined my for life because I don't think I'll ever be okay wearing an off the rack suit or shirt again. read more

"Appointment Only" made a 1pm and got "we are running behind". Waited 15 minutes and walked out. It says on the site the appointment is to help with staffing...what's the point? For the amount of money I was going to drop on a custom suit and shirts, unacceptable. read more

Just picked up my suit this week. Turned out perfect. Exactly what I wanted and expected. Kevin took care of me. Very knowledgeable knew what I wanted and helped me pick out everything. Pointing out the pros and cons of each thing. I won't ever buy a suit off the rack again. I've had Hugo Boss, Armani etc and they literally don't even compare to what you get from these guys, not even close. For the price, service, selection and product you cannot go wrong. I'll recommend to anyone looking to get a suit to go see these guys. The best read more

Though my boyfriend didn't buy anything from this shop, I have to give 5 stars for exceptional service. We were in a bind & in need of pants for a wedding in a couple hours. Nas took the time to search his back room for any pants that may fit my boyfriend. Unfortunately nothing ended up working, but we were super appreciative of Nas' efforts. He clearly knows what he's doing and will bend over backwards for his customers. read more

This place is the only place I buy for my suits. I have known Nas about 10 years now and he treats every customers like they are his best customer. He has killer sense on what customers want and he makes sure customers are happy with their purchases. As far as suits are concerned, it is top notch quality. Every time I wear NL suits, people notice about differences right away and they make comments about the suits. The place is only by appointments and its very private and customer oriented. A great experience. A modern and well-appointed storefront. Ben was knowledgeable, attentive, and thoughtful. Initial measurements and fittings took an hour, with no details spared. Nas happened to be in on a Sunday afternoon, when I came to pick up my garment. He stopped everything for the final fitting, and provided undivided attention. As it goes without saying, the garment itself is exceedingly high-quality; the fit is perfect. Will be back for more. read more

NL suits is by far the most thorough custom suit fitting I've ever had. Nas and his staff (Kevin and a very helpful woman who's name I'm forgetting) roll out the red carpet for you during your consultation. They help you customize your suit so it's classy as hell, and at the same time very unique to you. I had my 3 piece wedding suit made by Nas and his staff. I literally showed them the color of my wife's suit/stitching (I'm south Asian and our weddings have a lot of color in them) and from there on Nas helped me style my suit with subtle matching hints with my wife's dress (ie buttons, inner lining material, pocket cut, collar style etc). What I liked the most is Nas asks for your input and what you're comfortable pulling-off and will tailor the suit accordingly. There were things customized on the suit that I didn't even know were possible. Needless to say I felt like frickin James Bond wearing that suit and you immediately feel the difference in wearing a bespoke suit by Nas compared to anything else. Also, Nas and Kevin will remember you by your first name (months after you've spoken to them); not a big deal to some but really shows they value you as a customer. Lastly, NL suits is very reasonable with their pricing, especially if you factor in the quality of suit you are getting. read more
