I went in to get a suit for my wedding day. Everything went great and I was told the suit would be ready in 3 weeks. 3 weeks later, I show up for my suit. No suit. The lining was showing through the tan suit and needed to be fixed. No problem, but would have been great to get a phone call about that before so I knew to come in and switch it out. Suit is fixed and I was told it will be ready in 4 weeks. Great, I will make the appointment now to pick up. 4 weeks later, I show up for my suit pick up. No suit. The order was never placed. So I went through the entire process again and was told the suit would be ready in 3 weeks. Well, it's been 10 weeks and my wedding was in 3 weeks. So I got it fast tracked. 2 weeks later. I got a call that my shirt was in, but no suit. I had to call to ensure that the suit was in and stay on top of NL Suits. The suit finally arrived and I was told to try the suit on. No follow up from the employees, no apology, and they ran out of suit bags. I got my suit in essentially a dry cleaner bag. I paid over $4000 for a suit + tie. I was expecting service to match and did not receive it. I would check out your other options.

Review for David's Bridal - Dress Shopping with My Daughter…read more We recently visited David's Bridal to help my daughter search for her wedding dress. We worked with Haley, who was very friendly, kind, and attentive. She made sure we had what we needed and was proactive in bringing out dresses for my daughter to try on. While Haley was pleasant to work with, we did feel the experience could have benefited from more consultative guidance. As this was our first time shopping for a wedding dress, we would have appreciated more expert input--such as suggestions tailored to my daughter's style preferences or advice to help narrow down the choices. Although we didn't find "the one" during our visit, it wasn't a bad experience. The staff was courteous, and the store had a decent selection. With a bit more personalized guidance, it could have been even better.

Great service on a busy weekend day, and prompt email response even afterhours…read more I was pleasantly surprised when I came here for a holiday event. I had struck out at just about every high-end department store you can think of, and couldn't even find a decent to try on anywhere I had gone. Gipper Prom has a large selection, with most inventory displayed on mannequins instead of just on hangers. There's no lugging around 10lb dresses, you just write the style number and color up on a slip they give you when you first walk in, and when you're done, they bring it to your dressing room. And it IS a room, with a locking door, so no worrying about that big dress leaving you exposed as you turn around. They had several associates at the dressing room, ready to help zip, clasp or adjust when needed, and they make sure the walkway is clear for you to move about. Since most people do not go dress shopping alone, they thoughtfully have ample seating and complimentary water for the poor soul you may have dragged along with you. Seating is arranged several feet behind a wall lined with mirrors, each section accompanied by a platform and appropriate lighting. The platform is likely useful for any tailoring needed, but I just used it to make my significant other nervously rate me in each of the 10 or so dresses I tried on. The staff didn't pressure you to buy, nor did anyone look at my long list of dresses like I was wasting their time or making their life terrible for no reason. The people working were friendly, and the other customers and their guests were also all cheery. Dress shopping can be a nightmare - hot, cramped, nothing fitting the way you hope, sizing not available, etc. But not the case here - and the other women shopping seemed to feel the same as me. Customers were openly complimenting each other, and the entire atmosphere was very warm. I can't rate their ability to modify or make minor fixes to beading, etc. The dress I purchased was perfect without anything needed. Overall, I was more than impressed. If you're an adult, well - clearly we aren't going to the prom, but this is a great store for many other events including pageants, galas, black tie or formal parties, or any time you can get away with being a little "extra," or are in need of a good selection of floor-length, high-quality formalwear. I will definitely be coming back!

They even told me they were taking it in the back and checking the beading and we waited a few minutes to get it. I walked in and was immediately drawn to a dress hanging up on the wall that fit my fairytale theme. My sister and I inquired about the dress, one of the two workers looked at her boss and said "That's too big for her" as if they didn't want my business. Then, we were given two different prices for the dress. When my mom asked why the price changed, a young worker exclaimed "Because that's what is on the tag" and rolled her eyes and walked away. The worker placed my dress in the very small fitting room and didn't even offer to help! This dress was a very large and delicate ball gown that I definitely needed help with! My sister had to come into the very small dressing room and fix me up. At this point I wasn't feeling very princess-like, as I walked out of the dressing room to present the dress to my mother and sisters... The dress was too big, of course, so I asked one of the workers for pens. She roughly hemmed up my dress with her hands and said "ok you can look now". And to make matters worse, my sister wanted to take photos of the dress and the worker exclaimed "NO PHOTOS". I immediately walked back into the dressing room, took the dress off and left. My advice is to avoid going to this place at all costs if you want a personal and pleasant experience.
