One employee was on the phone the whole time roaming the store. She probably should've just went to the back of the house to take her phone call. Not sure if it was personal or business. The other two associates saw me standing in line waiting at the register, and proceeded to just let me stand there and wait and wait. they were with other customers however, if there is a line at a register, you need to address that - my transaction took all of three minutes. Either the manager should have paused her phone call or the other associates could have stepped away for three minutes. When you work with the public. You have to learn how to juggle different priorities and customer needs. This experience was 3 stars

I enjoy making big purchases in cities I visit because the memory stays with me. Service started well with a female associate. She showed interest and answered questions. A handoff happened when she left for the day. A male associate stepped in and the entire experience changed. Questions about colors, cable sizes, and other designs received short and dismissive replies. Some questions received no reply until I repeated myself. Tone suggested annoyance. Engagement stayed low. No effort to understand my preferences. No effort to guide me through options. A sale was ready. I planned to buy a David Yurman piece during this trip. The treatment pushed me to walk out instead. A shocked expression appeared on his face when I said I was no longer buying. I will purchase in Houston where service has been professional in the past. Orlando lost revenue because of the approach used by this associate.

Apparently they know they sell trash…read more So, I'm a guy who wears a necklace pretty much all the time. It's a Kay Jewelers necklace I bought a few years back. Yeah, I know, sometimes it gets a little tarnished - that's what happens when you never take it off, right? Figured I'd pop into the Kay at Waterford Lakes to get it cleaned up. Big mistake. Walked in, handed the necklace to the first associate I saw, and she gave me this look like I'd just handed her a piece of roadkill. Seriously, the face she made was priceless (in a bad way). She asked where I'd bought it, and when I said "Kay Jewelers," you could see the "oh crap" moment dawn on her face. Her tone changed real quick. She passed it off to another guy who dunked it in some solution for a couple of minutes and gave it a quick wipe with a cloth. Then he says, "Probably about as good as you're going to get," and walks away. No further explanation, no offer of anything else. Just... "that's it." Now, I've had this necklace fixed once before at a Kay Jewelers in Georgia (clasp issue, also under warranty), and they were great. So, I know Kay can do customer service. But this Waterford Lakes experience was a complete joke. It felt like they were implying that either they don't stand behind their products, or they know they're selling stuff that's not worth much. Either way, not a good look. After that less than stellar "cleaning" attempt, I ended up just buying some jewelry cleaning solution myself. Seems like if I want something done right, I have to do it myself since Kay doesn't seem to care much about the products they sell after they've made the sale. Bottom line: If you need anything from Kay Jewelers, I'd suggest finding a different location. The folks at Waterford Lakes clearly don't care much about customer service.

Customer Experience vs. Corporate Reality!!! I have always…read morebeen an admirer and a loyal customer of Tiffany & Co., believing that the brand's values of excellence extended to every pillar of the company, including recruitment. Recently, while demonstrating my enthusiasm for a position at the Mall at Millenia location, I had a deeply disappointing experience with Amie and Ervin Graham. Despite my polite attempts to follow up and my visits to the store, I received responses that do not align with the standard of hospitality the brand represents. It is disheartening to see a luxury icon fail in empathy toward someone who not only aspires to join the team but is also a long-time consumer of its products. True "luxury" must begin with human connection and respect. As a Manager myself within the banking industry, handling high-net-worth clients who invest millions, and holding two Bachelor's degrees, including one in Human Resources, I speak with both professional and technical authority. I strongly suggest investing in premier customer service training that is inclusive. Exceptional service should be extended to everyone who enters such an admired and respected establishment, regardless of the nature of their visit. Sincerely, Carol Knisely
