I am a huge fan of Goldsmith and their team, and can't say enough good things about them. This is…read moremore than a jewelry store, my husband and I consider it our family jewelry store for life. My husband gifted me my first pair of diamond earrings from Goldsmith when we were dating, and eventually purchased my engagement ring and wedding set from here as well, along with various other gifts and pieces. Danny and Mary always take care of us and remember us, it's nothing like a typical big box jewelry store. Over the years, we have continued to visit the team at Goldsmith for all of our jewelry needs. Recently, I brought in a piece of heirloom jewelry and a few other random pieces that had been sitting in a safe for years. It held a lot of sentimental value, but was dated and not my style. I decided to reimagine the old jewelry into a few custom pieces I'd actually want to wear every day. I met with Danny to talk about my ideas. He always makes me feel at ease and understands what I am envisioning, giving suggestions and asking lots of questions, guiding me to the perfect piece. He called, texted and kept in regular communication on the status of the jewelry. We settled on transforming the pieces into a necklace and 3 rings. Their in house designer created digital images with ideas and we went back-and-forth a few times until we had the perfect designs for me. I was also shown a 3-D printed mold so that I can feel the rings and see what they would look like exactly. The pieces came out more perfect than I could have imagined and I couldn't be happier. I love wearing them every day, and feel closer to my loved ones thanks to Goldsmith. We look forward to many more years of being customers at Goldsmith.

When it came time for my own engagement ring, I strongly encouraged my now fiancé to purchase it here. Sadly, he did not listen, but I did buy my wedding bands at Maitland Jewelers. First, they inspected my engagement ring, and shared with me the unfortunate news that it was broken. They told me that they could not touch it but instructed me how to get it fixed at the original place, of which I was incredibly grateful. Nothing they had in stock looked good with my engagement ring, but they ordered in a few styles for me to try, that we mutually picked out of a book. When those came in, I didn't love them either, but we ordered a few more to build for a custom piece. They turned out beautifully and I am over the moon happy with. I cannot wait to actually wear the band! I also had earrings custom made out of diamonds from a ring that belonged to my deceased father. They also turned out beautifully and I cannot wait to wear them at my wedding. They ladies who work their, their gemologist/goldsmith - all absolute delights and experts at their craft. I cannot sing their praises enough. If you are on the market for ANY kind of jewelry, or need repairs, I 100000000000% suggest you visit Maitland Jewelers.

Since I drive by Maitland Jewelers all the time I decided to call and see if they could clean them even though they were not purchased there. While I was on the phone with Sylvia I remembered I had a necklace, also not purchased there, that needed repairing. The necklace, from my wedding, is incredibly special to and I was heartbroken when a few weeks ago the chain broke. However, I realized that I had a second chain from when the original jeweler messed up the inscription. But I couldn't figure out how to get the chain from one pendent to another. Enter Maitland Jewelers. Sylvia quoted me $30 for the repair, and let me know that they wouldn't be able to do the repair until after Christmas. Perfectly reasonable since it's probably a very busy time for them. Not only did they clean my rings for me at no cost, but the jeweler, Carl, was able to move my necklace chain from one pendant to the other while I was there in the store. And because it was a quick and easy fix he did the repair at no cost. My experience at Maitland Jewelers, how kind they were, and how they made me feel meant so much to me. I will absolutely go back to this store when I next need a gift for myself or someone I love. Thank you, Sylvia, Carl, and the rest of your team! Have a very happy holiday season!

Me and my…read moreboyfriend were looking for a chain for the pendant his mother made me (Blessing in disguise by Melissa Rovner) and we found a 18k gold chain of my dreams at Simmons. The only issue was that it was slightly too long for my liking. So they offered to add a hoop chain at the length I wanted so I didn't have to get rid of the rest of the gold. They did this at no extra charge, going above and beyond. Because of the interactions I had with the lovely employees and owner I decided to take a leap of faith and leave a family heirloom my grandmothers engagement ring she gave to me. Unfortunately it was missing a diamond whe it was gifted to me and needed repair. When I came back to Simmons to pick up my chain and ring both pieces looked amazing and were exactly what I wanted. I was so happy with the result I left some more pieces. 2 rings that needed resizing, a broken chain that needed repairing, and a gold bracelet that needed a couple links removed. I came back about a week later and once again everything looks amazing!!!!! I cannot express how amazing and personable the employees of this shop are.
