My review is long overdue, and I apologize to the great people at B&T Auto Service for doing them…read morethe disservice of not writing this sooner. I have had nothing shy of a wonderful experience every single time I take one of our cars in (maybe 6 times now since late 2017 or early 2018 I think). The first time I took my car in, I had a local auto parts store check my battery and alternator. They told me the alternator was definitely bad. So, I bought one, popped in the front seat, and looked around for a mechanic. B&T was able to get me in the soonest. So, I gave them a try. They called me shortly after I dropped it off to tell me there was nothing wrong with my alternator, that my battery was bad, and it would just be a waste of money to replace the alternator. When I picked my car up, I got a detailed tech report on what they did to test and what the readings were. All they had to do was NOT call me, install the alternator I already had sitting there, and was the entire reason I set the appointment anyway. However, they chose to be honest, call me, and let me make the decision. *The alternator is still working fine (2-3 years later) FYI* My poor girlfriend had bought a total money pit Subaru Legacy (unbeknownst to her when she bought it). We've had that in their shop 4 or 5 times I believe and they always do good work that I feel satisfied with and they don't charge you ridiculous prices. I am happy to pay for good honest work. That's what its all about. And that's what they do. I want to detail all other accounts, but for what its worth, take my word that every experience has been like my first, detailed above. I've recommended them to anyone talking about getting their car worked on (and I warn away from 2 places in town... you probably know 1 of the 2, if not both). Thank you B&T Auto Service! Please keep up the good, honest work, and I will keep coming back to you for many, many years!

I feel like the issues I have had with Carriage Care have reached I point I have to publicly point…read moreout my issues. They have almost cost me a few customers and BROKE MY VEHICLE AND DENIED DAMAGE. At this point I'm advising all friends, family, and customers stay FAR AWAY from this place. I brought a 2008 Ford f150 in for a SIMPLE inspection and change of the outer right tire rod. I had NO LIGHTS ON on this vehicles dash, as soon as it was finished and we went to pick it up, the ABS light is on, and it's throwing TWO codes that was not there both relevent to the side worked on (speed sensor on right front tire and another one I can't remember off the top of my head) So I confronted Mark (the owner) and his reply was (and I quote) "I can't tell the future man", !?!. So I explain he broke it, he completely denied it, took it in his shop, DELETED THE CODES SO THE LIGHT WENT OFF AND SENT ME ON MY WAY!. So at this point I brought it to another mechanic who verefied it was broken during taking parts off recently (basically confirming he broke it). I have already spoken to Mark and denied and had no plan on paying for the damage so now Monday I'm making a complaint to the better business bureau and possibly filling for a lawsuit. At the same time this is happening, he has another one of my vehicles he is putting a transmission in (which is why I chose not to make the big deal about the ford yet), I get the truck he put the transmission in and a quarter mile down the road it loses every ounce of transmission fluid!!!! Not only did he charge over what he promised, he didn't replace the front or back seals, and broke the o-rings and didn't replace them either!!! The lady up front is obviously on drugs and constantly tells me I didn't pay my bills when I have, and they close whenever they feel like it leaving you stuck without your car when you asked specially to have access to it by the end of the day. Bottom line, DO NOT COME HERE

They used to be my go-to for certain services but, over the last few years, the quality of service…read morehas gone very bad. I've had them rebuild 3 transmissions and replace 2 engines. Last engine completion was delayed due to the "mechanic" just pulling vacuum hoses without labeling. My son took a vehicle in for a flywheel replacement and the issue causing the need for replacement was not fixed and was mis-diagnosed. The latest "service" was for a safety inspection requiring a part to be replaced (as I had no time to do it myself) and a front end alignment as well. I was told that they were unable to align it correctly and afterwards it had very bad steering and pulling. I took the car to a different shop that I knew could do it and was told the the steering rack and pinion bolts were loose (MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE) and the alignment was very out of spec. I also found last night that the installation of the protective boot on the replaced part had not been completed so I had to do it myself. Third bad experience = 3rd strike and I will not be recommending this shop for any services. If I could give less than 1 star I would after all of these experiences.

My car sat in their parking lot baking in the sun for 3 months while I was repeatedly assured it would be just another week and half and my car would be looked at. At one point I called to tell them I was taking my car somewhere else but was assured it would be in right away. All they succeeded in accomplishing was the destruction of my radiator. My car then sat another 3 weeks. On Thursday September 23rd 2021 I went to the shop to speak with the manger or owner personally. Upon arrival I found my passenger side door ajar, the glove box cover torn off and laying on the floor and the under-dash cover torn down. The clear coat paint had blistered on the trunk lid and front fender from baking in 100 degree heat for 3 months. I was told by the manager the owner would contact me. I waited for 1 week to see if the owner would reach out to make this right before I posted this review. As you can see by this post, no response. Stay far away from this shop.
