Busy day but the tem ws verybeffeciwt and it's in and out in a short time. The tire causing issues was a brand new Good Year that I had taken in several times over several months. The tire b would lose air VERY slowly in commuting status, maybe a few pounds per week. However, on longer trips inbound lose 2 to 3 pounds an hour. The tech at Reichers had suspicion on the case, confirmed it and resolved it within a few hours. Turns out it was an installation issue common with Goodyear tires having a paper become right on the bead and the installer not removing it during the installation. DO NOT GO TO THE MADISON AVENUE STORE. I work at the hospital, so I thought It would be easier to buy tires from the Madison Ave store. My driver side mirror was damaged. Addressed the issue with a guy named Vinny, who claimed he was the manager over that site. He said he was going to order and replace the broken mirror. I understand accidents happen. After two and a half weeks, Vinny had not attempted to contact me with when the mirror would be in. So I called the Madison Avenue store again. A different guy named Dave answered the phone. While I was still on the phone call with Dave, he was talking to Vinny, who appeared to be in the same room. I was told the other store should've taken care of it and gave me the number to the South Point site. I felt frustrated, like I was being brushed off and not properly taken care of. I called the South Point store and talked to Bobby who was very apologetic, but wasn't aware of the situation. He had to notify the other store to get information and immediately got back with me. Bobby called me a week later and set up an appointment to put the new mirror on. If you go to Riecher's Tires, go to the South Point site. The Madison store manager, Vinny, doesn't care to deal problems that are happening at that store. read more

These guys are amazing. I have a Toyota Corolla with a ton of miles on it and they have always been forward with me about what it needs. They are honest, kind and I never doubt what they tell me. I would not recommend. When they break a sensor for a tire pressure and then want to charge you to fix it. Then after having an alignment done and two months later car would not pass inspection when they would not have been able to do proper alignment if those parts were bad. Then want to charge to have realignment done again. They tell you on the phone that they are in business to make money. Obviously not for customer service. read more

This is the best car repair shop possibly in the world! No joke! They have been honest and helped me keep old junkers, new cars, and used cars, all running for the past 20 years I've lived in Washington. There prices are bare bones. You can't beat them for repairs. I once told them I wanted to just spiffy up a car since I needed to keep it running for the four years my spouse was in school and I had such and such money to invest (yes, that's how much I trust them not to scam me that I even told them I was willing to pay money for WHATEVER repair they recommended!) They came back and told me not to spend a dime since it didn't need it, just get your basic oil change and you're set they said. Another example is my teenage daughter drove a Lincoln with a bad suspension and told them she was going to start commuting to college and she wanted to fix it. The man came out and told me if it was his daughter he honestly wouldn't let her drive with the suspension that bad on the highway and that even if we put a few thousand bucks into it to fix it, they still couldn't guarantee that it would help this major of a problem. We recycled the junker and put her money toward a safer, used car. Once just to see if Reicher's prices were accuate, I went and got 2 quotes for a repair from 2 different shops and Reicher's beat their prices by 1,000 bucks! All and all it just means they will always have my business and I will be a loyal customer. I recommend them to everyone. They believe in honesty and it is absolutely refreshing to see a company in America is still operating like they did in the old days. If you live in St. Louis and need any basic repair work done on your car, I have to tell you it would pay for you to take the time to come out to Washington for an estimate first. With the money you save on your car repairs you could probably pay for the gas, a rental car for the week, and have money left over for a dinner and movie with your spouse! That's how reliable and inexpensive the repairs are compared to a dealer or most places in St. Louis! Note: the experiences I've had are from their original shop near the Hospital but they have a new shop out near the highway and Kohl's which I'm guessing is just as fair and does just as good of work. You've actually helped save me so much money over the years that it's probably even helped to allow me to stay at home and raise my 3 kids! read more

I thought these guys would be good when I took my 911 Porsche in for tires and alignment but right after I left I felt/heard this rumbling sound/honing noise. After a month of barely driving it and trouble shooting ie changing tranny fluid, having the tires rebalanced. I finally took it to my favorite Porsche repair shop 'Reid Vann' in St Louis and Reid personnally told me someone had deliberately smashed my racer bearings on the right front side. So draw your own conclusion. Someone over at Riechers dosen't like Porsches or me and deliberately screwed with my car. Caveat Emptor! read more

I had two tires taken in for repair. When I went in to pick them up there was confusion with the bill with money eventually being credited back to my account. It was an honest mistake, but the following episode was disappointing. The tire they had "supposedly" repaired on the tractor was flat when mounted. When I approached them about coming out and fixing it since I didn't want to ask or hire someone to do it again, the owner essentially said "tough". Bring it in and we'll look at it. When I asked him if he would please back up his work, he said I could hire a towing company. Of the two tires I took in, they threw away one (I took it because of a slow leak) and charged me to fix the other and didn't fix it. I would definitely not recommend them even though the young men that work for them are very nice. The owner wasn't nice and the job was not done and I am $147.00 in the hole on this one with no detectable regrets from the owner, Mr. Riechers. read more
