I was greeted by two women, one the store owner, Gergana. She showed me around the shop and then next door the studio and treatment room space. The studio is well laid out and very clean. The shop is well organized and had items that I had been looking for. And it was NOT overwhelmed by scents. I have attended two Reiki Shares there that Gergana led. It was fun to do Reiki in a different way with nice people. My husband, Fred and I both joined the shop's membership and are enjoying getting to know the staff and other practitioners who work out of the studio. Highly recommend you visit.

There were several staff members circulating through the store and each one of them was determined to have a conversation with each of the customers. I found this distracting as I was trying to experience the energy of the crystals and am overall rather introverted. Despite my disinterest in conversation I had to repeatedly engage with additional staff members who wanted to show me the UV light on the stones, ask what I was looking for, talk to me about the store in general, the crystals in general, the reiki in specific, and comment on my way of selecting my stones. I don't really want to discuss my personal situation with strangers in a crowded store and the continual attempts to have long exchanges were draining to me. Is this a sales strategy? Because I definitely would have asked to see the moldavite behind glass if I hadn't already been talked out by the staff! Perhaps the store owners could employ sales training that is less aggressive and more consensual, and/or a way of communicating that a particular customer doesnt seem to want conversation. I wasn't going to leave a review but then I got an email from them - after being repeatedly assured that I wouldn't receive emails from them when I signed up for the customer rewards program. There is a wider variety of gems, stones and so much more here. I've liked all across town to find a gift for my friend. He had exactly what I wanted. I customized my own necklace raw cut of Citrine, accented with two smaller stones (HK jade and an amber that he had to resize the hole for the necklace) and a gold metal to top it off. I got to choose every part of my necklace from the length of dark brown genuine leather string to the stones and accents. On top of all this Jim gave amazing customer service, patient, polite and friendliness (these two are not the same and he demonstrated both). I will be back.
