By far the most unprofessional, lackadaisical, worthless company I have ever hired. We essentially paid them thousands of dollars to almost ruin our wedding and treat it as if it were our fault. (This story is long but worth the read if you're planning on using this worthless company.)
My wife and I used this company for our wedding several weekends ago. To keep costs down and not break the bank we decided to do all of our wedding setup/planning on our own with help from friends and family. Unlimited events was to deliver our dinner tables, cocktails tables, benches, chairs, linens, tables runners and all necessary eating/drinking utensils for our 200 guests Friday morning at 10am for the wedding Saturday afternoon at 3pm. A 10am delivery was the time that my wife and unlimited's sales representative Lisa had agreed on, now looking back that was never put into writing so there's no confirmation of that. Regardless, we had a contract that states the entire delivery was to be made Friday between the hours of 8am-5pm.
Friday morning at 1030am we began calling the company asking where our order was and if it was to be late, what time should we expect it so we can coordinate our helpers. We had 20 members of our family and friends waiting around to help set up the wedding yet nothing could be done with out the delivery. We were told that the delivery drivers were running a bit late and we should expect the delivery within a few hours no later than noon. Noon rolled around and still no drivers were present. We continued to call and ask for a delivery time from that point on until 330 which at that point we were told that we would have a delivery by 430 at the latest. 5 o'clock came and went with still no word from the company, not a phone call to explain they would be later than anticipated, no apology, nothing. At this point 30 members of our wedding party had all congregated to begin our rehearsal which was to be followed by a rehearsal dinner at 7:00pm for everyone at a restaurant 20 minutes away from the venue. (unlimited's office closes at five and not a single person there gave us the courtesy of calling and letting us know what was going on before going home for the weekend) I began calling the unlimited events emergency number on their voicemail at least 35 times until finally someone from their company answered my call explaining that, "The drivers will get there when they get there and it is what it is." Whoever I spoke to on the phone was by far the most rude unprofessional business person I have ever dealt with. He made it seem like I was out of line for asking him where the delivery was and I should just understand that they overbooked their delivery drivers that day regardless of how it disrupted my personal plans for that evening. His carefree attitude and agitation of me calling him so many times definitely was expressed in his response to me.
The drivers finally arrive at 6:15 PM missing all cocktail tables we had ordered, The majority of all of the chairs were so dirty that we had to wipe them all down prior to the ceremony and also some did not match.
My entire wedding party did not get to dinner until 8:30 PM at which time we had blown our reservation and the restaurant had run out of food for half of my guests.
The next day as per tradition I was not allowed to see the bride until The ceremony so myself and my groomsmen ended up setting up the entire wedding without my wife's input which you can imagine terrified her leaving the beauty of her wedding in the hands of a bunch of men. we were still setting up as guests arrived that afternoon
Unlimited's unprofessional attitude and lack of communication with us made what was supposed to be a joyous, splendid, relaxing time with my family and friends into a catastrophic nightmare of rushing and panic work.
The following Monday unlimited was to pick up the order from our venue between the hours of 8 AM and 4 PM, I called Monday morning to make sure because our venue wanted everything cleaned up and out. I personally waited at the venue until 6:30 PM without any word from the company.. At that point I called their emergency line once more and spoke to a man who said "his drivers wouldn't be able to pick up the order Sunday night so they will pick it up first thing Monday morning." I informed him that it was in fact Monday already, not sunday, and it was 630 PM Monday evening and his drivers would now have to pick up the order Tuesday morning as the venue was closing the doors.
Following this nightmare we have tried to contact unlimited several times by email and phone call to negotiate some sort of refund which they have completely ignored. The one time I did speak with someone she tried to play down the situation and just kept passing the blame on other vendors, their drivers, and somehow tried to make it my fault that they could not schedule deliveries appropriately.
