I've had the pleasure of photographing weddings at Fairview and wanted to share a few photos for anyone who is currently venue searching! :) I cannot speak on the booking or planning process with the venue, but I can say that this venue is really beautiful. I love the recent renovations they've made and the golf course views are amazing! Great venue for about 130 guests or less. Hope to be back here soon! :)

    Serenade sweet bride!

We had our wedding here in August 2024 and it was amazing! So many of our guest reached out to us to let us know that they had a great time and it was one of the best weddings they have ever been to! Danielle was our Wedding coordinator and did a fabulous job! She was highly organized and professional. She also was fun and did some dancing with us during our ceremony rehearsal as we worked on an entrance routine. Highly recommend!

    Ceremony set up

Me and my husband got married on 11-10-23 at this venue. We had both our ceremony and Reception here. Everything couldn't have been more perfect! We had the most absolute best day! From the day before with our rehearsal to the day of everything went so seamless and smooth. Matt and Danielle are completely AMAZING! They made me feel so at ease with everything and i knew i was in great hands. Thank you guys again so much for everything we can't rave about you guys enough!!! If your hesitant on book at the Fairview don't be! They are beyond amazing!!!!

    Ceremony

If you're looking for a wedding venue, look no further!! Fairview Laguna Seca created the wedding of our dreams. Alex, Tiffany and Matt were unbelievably helpful during the wedding day, as well as the year leading up to it. They are incredibly responsive, detail oriented, and organized. Coming from someone that was planning their wedding from afar, I never once doubted their abilities and organization. They are some of the kindest people we have ever met, and we are so grateful to have had them a part of our special day. The food was delicious and the beverage service was outstanding. 100000% recommend Laguna Seca for your wedding venue, you won't regret it! We wouldn't change a thing about our wedding, and for those of you currently planning, you know that means a lot! Thank you Laguna Seca for everything

It's the kind of place where every corner looks like it belongs in a wedding album. . One of the unique perks for couples is the chance for the groom and his groomsmen to enjoy a morning round of golf before the festivities begin -- a tradition many wedding parties absolutely love. And depending on the day, you might even catch the sound of sports cars racing around the neighboring Laguna Seca track, adding a fun bit of local character to the atmosphere. . The weather is typically mild, but as with most coastal spots, the fog can roll in and bring cooler temperatures, especially later in the afternoon. Holly Farm - Holly Farm team 3

    Holly Farm

    (136 reviews)

If you are considering Holly Farm as the venue for your wedding, and you just want the tl;dr, then…read morehere are my three most important suggestions for you: 1) You should absolutely go with Holly Farm. 2) You should accept every piece of advice Erin, Ryan, and the rest of the incredible team have for you along the way. 3) You should start getting excited right now about La Creme because their food is out of this world. Picking Holly Farm as our venue was the first choice we made in our wedding planning process, and trust me when I say that it was by far the best one. The pictures speak for themselves, and yes, it's as amazing as it looks (though if you haven't visited, you should take the excuse - it's truly stunning in person), but the real game changer is the team. The Holly Farm fam has been at this for decades, and it SHOWS. They cater to your needs and your vision, whether you want to be super hands on and into the nitty gritty on everything, or whether you want somebody to completely take the reins for you. We were so so appreciative for Erin's help during the planning process; any time we were stuck on something, she had a recommendation ready that was never just "off the shelf". We didn't want to be totally consumed by wedding planning all the time, and even though Erin had a big list of vendors ready to go, we were more than happy to listen every time she said "here's the 2 who I think you guys would love". It's really really telling to me that every single vendor we spoke to - without exception, including the ones we didn't end up choosing - all said some version of the same thing: "oh man I LOVE doing weddings at Holly Farm". Here's what I'll say about the weekend itself - it truly feels like you are staying at a luxury resort where you and your friends are the only guests. The entire staff is so attentive, so friendly, and they take care of all the details and logistics so that your only job really is to just enjoy the weekend and stay relaxed. We cooked a huge friends and family dinner in the Adobe and they cleaned the entire kitchen for us! Anytime we were hanging out in the evenings they rolled the portable heaters up without us asking! They moved our rental equipment around to make cool outdoor spaces for us so that we could get more use out of it than just the wedding itself! And nothing felt so satisfying as passing by Ryan on a path and hearing "hey I just lit your fireplace for you!". Of everything we loved about our wedding, the thing we loved most was getting to have this full weekend experience with our closest friends and family in one place, made truly special by the care the entire Holly Farm team put into making us feel at ease and at home. And one final thing - lest I leave you with the impression that this is only about good vibes - the operations for the wedding itself were incredible. Every vendor knows the team and knows the venue, everything works like clockwork without you having to supervise anything, and Erin, Ryan, and their staff have things so tightly coordinated that we didn't have to stress about logistics at all once the weekend got started. I can't emphasize enough how big a difference that made to us compared to some horror stories we'd heard from other weddings. Here are some final quick hits on other things you might be wondering about - but seriously, pick Holly Farm: - I didn't write an entire review for Tamie and La Creme, because it would be just as long, but they do amazing work. This is straight up excellent food, not excellent "wedding" food. - The rooms and buildings are very cool and very comfortable. - Yes, the Paraiso suite is "open air". Yes, it really does stay warm. Having a roaring fire in there, plus a heated blanket on the bed....A+. - The optional River House for extra space is definitely walkable (~3 mins), but it's nice to have flashlights at night. - Having the flexibility to use the space however you want for the entire weekend is a highly highly underrated perk. We had people hanging out on Thursday and Friday and it was a ton of fun. Highly recommend making plans that utilize the space every day. - We were nervous about the higher cost at first, but asking friends and family who stayed on site to pay for rooms turned out to not be a very big deal, and what we charged them was still way less than area hotels. - The music has to switch from DJ's speakers to house speakers at 9:30pm, but the house speakers can stay on all night if you want. We had just as much fun after the switchover. - No curfew is also a huge perk not to overlook. Erin and Ryan if you're reading this THANK YOU SO MUCH AGAIN YOU GUYS ARE ROCK STARS!!

Our wedding was an absolute dream come true. The love we had for each other and for our family and friends that traveled from across the country to celebrate with us was reflected in the beauty and spirit of Holly Farm and all of the wonderful folks that work there. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the warmth and charm of the space. It was as if every inch of the venue was designed to make us and our guests feel at home, while still capturing an elevated, magical atmosphere that was simply unforgettable. Everyone at Holly Farm went above and beyond to ensure each detail of our wedding weekend was flawless. Their attention to detail was extraordinary, and it was clear they genuinely cared about making our day perfect. Ryan and Erin were so caring and attentive, and they made us feel like family. They were there for every little detail and made us feel completely at ease. The food, catered by La Creme, was nothing short of five star restaurant quality. We've received countless compliments from our guests about how delicious everything was! This was a big deal, especially coming from our families who are used to extravagant New Jersey weddings with an abundance of food. They all told us it was the best wedding food they'd ever had, which is about the highest praise you can get from a family who knows food! Everything about The Holly Farm was perfect--from the gorgeous, tropical setting that felt like a hidden paradise against the coastal backdrop of Carmel to the impeccable service and food. We couldn't have imagined a more beautiful, heartfelt, and memorable experience, and our friends and family STILL haven't stopped raving about it! Our wedding weekend was made even more special thanks to the onsite haciendas where we, along with some of our close friends, stayed. The houses were cozy yet luxurious, and perfectly appointed with a level of service that truly felt five-star. Each detail was perfect, from the unbelievably comfortable beds to the wood burning fires that were lit by hand each night and the wonderful house staff that made everyone feel at home the moment they arrived. Getting to spend the whole weekend in such an enchanting space made the whole wedding feel so much more special, a truly immersive experience vs a single-day event. We loved discovering the countless nooks and crannies throughout the property where our friends and family could relax, chat, and soak in the surroundings. It created a sense of intimacy and closeness that made the entire experience feel so special. When the weekend was over, we genuinely didn't want to leave. Heck, we may even crash the wedding that's probably getting ready to kick off this weekend! The Holly Farm made every moment magical, and we will forever cherish our time spent there with the people we love most.

We truly got to enjoy every minute of our wedding day with no stress, because we knew that Makenna, Chef David, Amanda, and the whole team were on top of every detail. Our wedding was 240 people with a morning ceremony/lunch, a full space flip, and an evening cocktail/reception. The Barns team seamlessly pulled off two layouts in the same space in one day, with different meals, bar offerings, decor, and rentals for each. Beyond the amazing team - the venue itself is truly stunning; it's so beautiful that we only had to minimally decorate to create a warm and elegant atmosphere. The space is the perfect balance of rustic and modern, and the barn is deceptively large; we were able to fit everyone on the dance floor! The attached garden is perfect for photographs and a quieter space for guests. We were even able to do an Indian Baraat, due to the unique downtown layout with street access. The Barns are walkable to multiple downtown hotels, so if you do a hotel block or ancillary events, guests can easily move between the spaces without worrying about late-night transportation. From the start, working with our sales manager Amanda was a joy. She coordinated a pre-booking tasting for us and showed us many different layouts for the space, to help us feel confident that the Barns would be the right fit for our wedding. Amanda helped us with flexibility throughout our planning process - helping us contract reasonable spend minimums well ahead of having a firm guest count. Our event manager Makenna went above and beyond to enable our vision. She accommodated a remarkable number of requests, questions, and add-ons with grace and professionalism. Makenna kept us organized, and her meticulous notes ensured no detail was forgotten. She liaised with our photographer, DJ, florist, and rental contact to ensure everyone was working off of the same schedule. She took the time to understand the context behind each of the cultural aspects of our wedding ceremony and event flow, and ensured that the spirit and the intent was carried through. Finally - Makenna was a constant source of creative ideas; she knows every detail of the Barns in and out, and has thought through every possible configuration, down to the height of plants that might block views and where the sun might fall at different times of the day. We were so lucky to have had Makenna's expertise, dedication, and creativity throughout the process. Chef David and the culinary team at the Barns were truly exceptional. The team learned how to make multiple Indian dishes for our wedding, and managed two large multi-cuisine meals in one day. We're still hearing rave reviews of the food 6 months later. Throughout the whole process, the team was open to feedback and refining flavors and sizing to match our vision. Finally, we appreciated the level of attention given to dietary restrictions, including willingness to label tray-passed items, which we had never seen before. We highly recommend getting married at the Barns at Cooper Molera. The team at the Barns worked with us for 18 months to bring our vision to reality, answering countless calls, texts, and emails to ensure every detail was perfect. Thank you to the Barns team for making our dream wedding come to life!

The food was outstanding--delicious, beautifully presented, and plentiful. Guests kept coming back for seconds and raved about the quality throughout the evening. The open bar was also a huge hit and contributed to the fun, festive atmosphere. The Barns at Cooper Molera was incredibly accommodating in helping us incorporate special touches, including our cigar bar, which was enjoyed by many of our guests. She answered so many of our questions and was always quick to respond over email. The catering provided by the venue was phenomenal and all of our guests raved about the food. I originally booked with Taylor Made Events after reading great reviews, and was initially met with a warm welcoming attitude from Taylor. I booked 10 months prior to my wedding for the "month of coordinator" package with the full understanding that Taylor would be my "month of" coordinator only. However, about 3 months prior to our wedding I reached out to her with both an email and a phone call to follow up on our payment and to just go over with her, how I should best organize all my vendor info and scheduling so that when we got to the month of I had everything organized to hand over to her, I also wanted to schedule a time to meet with her when the one month came. I thought and STILL THINK this is an incredibly reasonable request for a bride to make to their wedding planner, even if they are only hired for MONTH OF. When I didn't hear back from her after about a week, I reached out to her again. I ended up emailing and calling her TENS OF DOZENS of times within the 3 month time period before my wedding without hearing back from her the entire time. As you can imagine, we had NO IDEA what to do, or what could have happened to her. We honestly thought something terrible might have happened or that we were scammed and she took our deposit and ran with it. (which is in fact what has NOW happened). Still with no response from her, 6 weeks prior to my wedding I had to make the tough decision to hire another wedding planner, not knowing if I would ever hear from Taylor again. Exactly 30 days prior to my wedding I FINALLY received an email from Taylor as if nothing had happened and with no mention of my MANY emails I had sent to her. She mentioned that she had a close friend pass away and that she had gotten sick. I very understandably and politely told her how sorry I was at her loss but since I had not heard from her in months I had had to hire another planner, not knowing whether or not she would or COULD still be my planner. Of course, I also asked for my deposit back, a reasonable request of someone who completely FAILED to communicate with their client or provide a service. To my SHOCK she did not want to refund my deposit, and firmly argued that she had done nothing wrong in her service to me. After much back and forth she finally agreed that although she believed her behavior was totally acceptable she would in fact return our deposit. I received an email saying she would return the deposit 3 1/2 months ago and we still have not received it. Since then, she has again failed to respond to let us know the status or what is going on, and I will now have to file paperwork in small claims court to sue her for our deposit. I cannot stress enough how terrible of an experience this was in what should be a joy filled time. Especially in dealing with a wedding planner whose SOLE PURPOSE is to lessen the stress on a bride. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU AVOID USING THIS SERVICE AT ALL COSTS!
