I thought we were really running late and were going to l be rushing to get in before doors closed but we got in with 20 minutes to spare. Getting through security was a breeze. Allied Universal did a great job getting people through efficiently. I had a clear bag so they didn't even have to search through it. The staff was very friendly and helpful from the security at the door to the usher who helped us find our seat. We purchased our ticket on Ticketmaster and they were super easy to quickly pull up and scan using the Apple Wallet feature. The show was fantastic and Josh Johnson was hilarious. I do recommend that if you want to buy merch or have to use the bathroom you do so before the show ends because it's quite chaotic with everyone trying to leave at the same time. The location of the men's bathroom on the second floor goes against the flow of the crowd of you're on the first floor like we were. All in all though I highly recommend this venue and would not hesitate to see a show here again.

Although the entrance isn't accessible from street level, entrance is extremely easy. Parking on the second level of the Blue Parking Garage leads right to a walkway between the two buildings. You exit the bridge onto a small plaza with entrances to both the Z and a restaurant. Walking in we were immediately greeted and pointed out the bar, bathrooms and ticket entrance. Drinks can be taken into the theater. It was fun greeting local theater community friends, some of whom I hadn't seen in decades. Seating was comfortable with plenty of leg room and space. The view from the center section, where I was seated, was excellent. The temperature in the theater was perfect. The Zeider hosts different production companies, comedy acts, independent theatrical productions and musical acts. But I've never seen them host a main stage production of a major musical theater work such as Stephen Sondheim's "Assassins". The theater experience was perfect. It's a great space in a great location. I'd love to see them partner more often with production companies who perform musical theater works and plays that can be staged in their space.

We always enjoyed the remarkable talent, time, and commitment this local theatre brings out to share with the community from the fantastic stage designs and sets to its diverse and talented casts of performers. The Green Room offers light refreshments for purchase and has fundraising raffles, too. It's a neat place to stop into during intermission, and you're now permitted to bring your beverage into the theatre now, as long as you're mindful to remove and dispose of your trash when leaving the theatre. The theatre's name might include the word little, but it has a large heart! Let's keep it clean! While we are big fans of Broadway in New York City, and have purchased season tickets to Broadway in Norfolk, the Little Theatre of Norfolk provides amazing shows and performances that we highly recommend. So, when a friend saw that LTN was offering 'In the Heights, A New Musical' by Lin-Manuel Miranda, we couldn't wait to join them for the show. It was their first time at LTN. We're all big fans of Lin-Manuel and this weekend's performance did not disappoint. We were moving to the beats and humming in our seats. The set designs were vivid and bright, and the lighting used on and off stage, along with the cast singing and dancing in the aisles were electric. Job well done LTN!

The staff were friendly as we checked in and found our seats, and the Green Room bar is a nice touch if you'd like to enjoy a beverage during the performance. As for the show--Gaslight--I was genuinely impressed. The acting was superb, the set design captured the period beautifully, and the tension of the story was carried expertly by the cast. This classic psychological drama tells the story of Bella Manningham and her manipulative husband Jack, whose strange behavior slowly convinces Bella that she may be losing her sanity. Without giving away the mystery, the production builds suspense masterfully and delivers a powerful payoff that keeps the audience fully engaged. If you enjoy live theatre performed at a high level, The Little Theatre of Norfolk is well worth a visit. Not only will you enjoy a great evening of entertainment--you'll also be supporting a wonderful part of Norfolk's local arts community.

First time at this theater located on the campus of Norfolk State University. I was not expecting…read moreit to be so nice and spacious. The performing arts center is located off 460/264 and was built in 1996. Parking is off Park Avenue. There is a guard gate that is manned. On weekends no issue with parking and reserved is available. The exterior of the building is all brick and has an attractive entrance and lobby. Flowers that appear fresh planted are in front. Some debris was spotted around the grounds, however walk up clear. A good size lobby w/ a small concessions area is to the right. Restrooms are Womens to right, Men to left. I found the mens room tidy. The theater is straight back. Access to the balcony is by stairs, or elevator in front of grand staircase. The dressing rooms are ups stairs which can be a limitation depending on timing of numbers. I attended the Star Talent Dance Competition with my daughter. She was not participating and was a spectator as I. She had friends in her company Dance Space that were competing. I found the seats comfortable and the space in between roomy. The stage is large, but not as big as say Sandler Center in VB, or Ropper in Norfolk. No food, or drink is permitted in the auditorium. A great first experience at the L Wilder Performing Arts Center.

I recommend the Mezzanine as you can see everyone and the entire set clearly. Wells Theatre has quite the talent! All the actors/cast performances were expressive, engaging, dynamic, powerful, and nuanced! While not overly dramatic, they were compelling and vibrant and lively without being nauseating. I loved the quick wit, and humor in A Sherlock Carol and the cast excellent! Some of the main characters in A SHerlock Carol are also in A Merry Christmas Carol as well. It's a small theatre that opened in 1913, and is a national historic landmark. It has ornate features inside and they sell light snacks and alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks at their concession stand.
