We always enjoyed the remarkable talent, time, and commitment this local theatre brings out to share with the community from the fantastic stage designs and sets to its diverse and talented casts of performers. The Green Room offers light refreshments for purchase and has fundraising raffles, too. It's a neat place to stop into during intermission, and you're now permitted to bring your beverage into the theatre now, as long as you're mindful to remove and dispose of your trash when leaving the theatre. The theatre's name might include the word little, but it has a large heart! Let's keep it clean! While we are big fans of Broadway in New York City, and have purchased season tickets to Broadway in Norfolk, the Little Theatre of Norfolk provides amazing shows and performances that we highly recommend. So, when a friend saw that LTN was offering 'In the Heights, A New Musical' by Lin-Manuel Miranda, we couldn't wait to join them for the show. It was their first time at LTN. We're all big fans of Lin-Manuel and this weekend's performance did not disappoint. We were moving to the beats and humming in our seats. The set designs were vivid and bright, and the lighting used on and off stage, along with the cast singing and dancing in the aisles were electric. Job well done LTN!

The staff were friendly as we checked in and found our seats, and the Green Room bar is a nice touch if you'd like to enjoy a beverage during the performance. As for the show--Gaslight--I was genuinely impressed. The acting was superb, the set design captured the period beautifully, and the tension of the story was carried expertly by the cast. This classic psychological drama tells the story of Bella Manningham and her manipulative husband Jack, whose strange behavior slowly convinces Bella that she may be losing her sanity. Without giving away the mystery, the production builds suspense masterfully and delivers a powerful payoff that keeps the audience fully engaged. If you enjoy live theatre performed at a high level, The Little Theatre of Norfolk is well worth a visit. However, we received no information about the Sunday show. Quite a disappointing experience. Now we have to wrestle with them to get our money back.

Our granddaughter has come so far since finally finding and dedicating herself to Ms Ana's teaching. Ballet teaches children discipline, physically, and emotionally. Preparing them to succeed in the future. Ms Ana is firm, but never unkind, unlike some of the previous studios we attended. She inspires her students. I went to Pinot's Palette in Norfolk with my sister and nephew for a Wednesday night paint-and-sip…read moreclass, and we had such a good time! This was our first time here, although I've done quite a few paint-and-sip classes before. Our painting was a field of sunflowers, and I have to say, this was definitely one of the more technically challenging paintings I've done at one of these classes. That downward-facing sunflower was no joke , but it was still really fun and rewarding to see everything come together. Tracie led our class, and she and Star are the owners. They were both incredibly personable, welcoming, and helpful throughout the night. Star was working the bar and helping out around the studio, while Tracie walked us through the painting step by step. Our class was pretty small, only seven people total, which I actually enjoyed because it made the whole experience feel relaxed and personal. I also really liked the space itself. The studio is much bigger than I expected, and they even have a separate room in the back for glow-in-the-dark painting classes. They showed us how the paintings glow under the UV lights, and it was SO cool. I'd definitely come back to try one of those classes. They also mentioned that the studio had actually flooded just the week before our class, which made it even more impressive that they had everything back up and running so quickly. One of the sinks was still out of commission because of the flood, but it didn't interfere with the class or our experience at all. Overall, we had a really enjoyable night. The atmosphere was fun, the studio was spacious, the painting gave us a little bit of a challenge, and Tracy and Star made the experience even better with how friendly and helpful they were. I'll definitely be back, and next time I might have to try that glow-in-the-dark room!

I always enjoy time with my sister and son, and I really like doing things that remind me of my mom. As soon as we went in we were greeted right away, had IDs checked for those of us old enough to drink, and we were able to get seated. Before getting started, we had the option of going to the bar. They offer a nice variety of wine, seltzers, and non alcohol options. There are also snacks available for purchase. Our hosts for the night were Tracy and Star. The class was a small one of about 7. They provide everything you need! This painting required a little more skill than I am used to, but the instructor was kind and very patient. I didn't feel rushed at all, and had no issues with getting help as needed. We were all happy with how our paintings turned out! My son really enjoyed his first paint night and said it's something he would do again. I've been to a few paint nights in the area, and I really enjoyed my time at Pinot. I've been to others where it seemed a bit too serious. This was fun! The acrobatic skill level was the best I've seen in years! The two muscle/strength guys- I still don't know how you did it!?!?! The performance was about 2 hours, divided into many smaller performances that were each about 5 - 8 minutes (guesstimating) . Of all the performances, there was only one that we thought was a little cheesy. Otherwise, we loved the show and had a great time. I was considering bringing my 4 year old niece, but there are parts of the show that I thought could be scary to a small child. I would guess most of the kids there were probably 6-10 years old. If you're looking for something different to try out, definitely give this a go. The arena is pretty small too, so i wouldn't recommend paying the VIP price for tickets, since there's only about 20 rows of seats anyway.

She is very well versed in piano as she recently graduated from a very prestigious music school so I felt very comfortable with her knowledge and expertise. Tristi had informed me that they just started the business recently and they already had about 30 students. The piano academy itself has a waiting room and 3 private rooms. One room is Simeon's teaching room and 1 room is Tristi's teaching room. They also have a room with a chalkboard to teach piano theory. Prices are reasonable and are similar to ones I paid before. They offer discounts if you pay quarterly which is great. I would definitely suggest that if you or your child is at all interested do yourself a favor and receive the free introductory lesson. You may find that your child may actually enjoy playing. P.S. My daughter chose to meet with Tristi without even considering Simeon but after meeting Simeon, he has such a great attitude that I don't think my daughter would have minded having him as her teacher.
