The theater is always neat and clean, with a bright entrance and interesting movie posters. The café is welcoming, and the staff is a true highlight of the experience. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a genuine smile and a welcoming attitude. The staff is incredibly friendly, polite, and patient, ensuring every step of your visit, from ordering at the café to having your food delivered to your seat, is seamless and pleasant. Their dedication to great service truly sets this theater apart. The food and drinks are a major highlight. There are many delicious choices, and everything is consistently tasty and served hot. The popcorn, in particular, is far superior and fresher than what you get at other theaters. I love the convenience of ordering food and an adult beverage right from my seat and having it delivered hot and quickly. The selection of on-tap beers is also a nice touch. The reclining seats with leg supports are super comfortable, making for a truly relaxing movie-watching experience. Best part is free refills on your popcorn, which is great since I like to take a bucket home with me :) Whether I'm catching a $6 movie on a Tuesday in one of the smaller theaters or a full-price movie in the main auditorium, it's always a great time. If I could've waited, I would've. 3. It was raining so the lobby floor was wet. Not a wet floor sign in sight. 4. The back row in Theater 8 is literally the same height as the row in front of it.. it's like the row was added on at some point. If you're too short, you can't see past the chair to see the whole screen. 5. The screen was small. 6. In the back row, we had to put the recliner down for food runners to get past. And that was several times throughout the movie. One food runner actually walked over my reclined legs as i was struggled to push the right button to put it down. Then they hit the tray table next to me and popcorn went flying. They definitely hurt themselves and i felt bad. But this is also probably a longstanding issue. 7. In one of the back row seats we paid for, you had to turn your head to even see the screen. Otherwise, you'd be looking at the emergency door because the screen doesn't extend into the POV of the chair correctly. The only good things from my experience were comfortable chairs, central location and great ticket prices (paid $26 for 4 tickets).

You are able to reserve online and pick your seat. This theater is usually forgotten so when you wanna see that new movie... chances are they still have great seats open. The bathroom was clean. On the inside, it had a set of local exhibitions and an upper floor of rotating thematic exhibits. While the museum was free to enter, they had a paid exhibition that frankly took up a large portion of the museum so I felt a little misled. I dodged in mainly because the weather was rough outside, but fortunately the rain passed. I didn't spend a ton of time here, but I did appreciate the college's commitment to art.

I can ensure you that when I was an employee, myself and everyone I worked with regularly washed their hands, were encouraged to improve our customer service skills, and frequently cleaned the establishment. Our routine work included regular cleaning of everything in the lobby, including chairs and arcade machines to ensure that customers would be met with a welcoming and sanitary environment. The Hillside Cinema is a long-standing business within the Gloucester community, and though i'm no longer working there I do find myself going back to see movies there. You wont find better tasting popcorn anywhere else, and the people who work there are likely to remember you if you're a repeat customer.

The Williamsburg Greek Festival is the best Greek Festival I have attended. Spanning 3 days…read more(Fri-Sun), I arrived about 11am Saturday, and was awestruck by the beauty of the church building. Going indoors to the Hellenic Center, I was warmly greeted, and was awestruck (again) by the gorgeous jewelry and other items for sale. I'll check them out later. Then into the large hall which was set up with a few dozen circular dining tables, and perhaps a dozen rectangular serving tables with chafing dishes on the perimeter, plus a stage on one side of the hall. Oh, where to start? I grabbed a tray, and ambled from one table to another, grabbing a Greek Salad, Greek Fries, Spanakopita, and Souvlaki with Rice. And a can of American Coke. As I enjoyed my lunch, the hall filled up more patrons and I realized I no longer had a good view of the stage. So I moved to a better table, and began to make notes: Greek Fries ($2): Not much different from French Fries; I ate every one. Greek Salad, $4: A very good Salad for the price, it comprised Lettuce, adequate Feta, Red Onions, Cukes, exactly 3 Kalamata Olives, with pits, and 3 Grape Tomatoes. And a cup of Greek Vinaigrette. I like the way the Cukes are sliced into spears instead of medallions. The Slouvaki with Rice ($10) was quite good. It would have been better if I had noticed the cups of Yogurt available in the serving line. But it was still quite good and I enjoyed every bite. I set aside the Spanakopita for later. Then a lot of activity on the stage, dancers getting into their position and the "DJ" getting into his. This is my only complaint about WGF. The acoustics, to use a technical term, suck! I could not understand the announcer, and the fidelity of the recorded music was dismal. Looking around, it seemed like the ceiling comprised acoustic tiles, so I'm not sure what steps need to be taken to improve the sound. The dancers, in three separate troupes, were very entertaining, especially the younger ones. I kept hoping for the music & dance from Zorba the Greek, but it was not to be. After 75-90 minutes, the dancers retired and I left to browse the jewelry vendors in the lobby. Bought 2 items, and came home. I neglected to ask how long the church has been making the festival, but as smooth as it was, I'm sure they've been doing this a few years. I eagerly await the Williamsburg Greek Festival next year. Update: 19.05.19: Eating the Spana at last. The best commercial Spanakopita in memory. (Not as good as my own (recipe from Moosewood) but still quite good.

It appears very unassuming from the outside. At night, there are some really nice lights that come on. There also seemed to be an outdoor stage setup. The concert I saw was amazing and everything sounded great. My only complaint: most of the patrons were so loud and obnoxious and more interested in their own drunken banter, which made it difficult to hear the music even though I was front row. If you're going to a concert (or doing anything else for that matter) and feel the need to get drunk or high in order to enjoy it, then that's a problem of your own that needs to be addressed and dealt with properly, not by subjecting others to it and robbing them of their own natural ability to live life. Other than that, it was a great evening. Nice place and I wouldn't mind returning to see another show. I just hope that the crowd there will want to see a show too and not take away from who we actually pay to see.
