My last 3 ICOPY Experiences Were Terrible, and The Owner Banned Me From The Store!…read more [True Story] The third to last time, I went in to print resumes, as I have done in the past. If a customer wants to have a document printed they can do so using the store provided desktop computer, which is located at the front counter. I proceeded to use the computer, as I have done numerous times in the past, when the owner/manager (I'm assuming), yelled at me "stop whatever it is you're are doing!" For some odd reason he thought I was installing software on his computer when I was simply pulling up my document via USB. [Now, I have worked in customer service environments of many types, and I would never immediately use the tone he did.] When he came to the obvious realization that I was just pulling up my document he apologized. Despite being humiliated, I gave him a second chance. After all he did apologize and we all have a bad day from time to time, so I gave him my business. The second to last time I had business cards printed. He told me that I wouldn't be able to find them anywhere else for cheaper than his price. I had 50 plain, black & white cards printed, and he charged me $30. At Staples, they would have charged me $20 for 250. Hey, shame on me for not doing my research. The last time I went in was the last "straw!" I went there to have something shipped via UPS, through them. I gave him my USB drive so he could print a packing slip for me to put inside the box I was shipping. [It is advertised in his store that it costs 7 cents to print/copy a document on regular paper, in black & white ink.] Then as he weighed my package, I asked him how much it would cost to ship. He told me that it would cost a total of $15 to have it shipped here in the US. I immediately told him that I was no longer interested, after all I could have simply put it in a small USPS flat rate box and it would only cost $5, no brainer! Well, he obviously doesn't ship USPS so he immediately walked my package over to me and said, "you know what, you owe me $2 for the paper then!" [The one piece of paper that he printed for me that was advertised for 7 cents.] I calmly told him what his advertised price was, and that I would not be paying $2 for 1 piece of paper. [It was the whole principal of the matter.] He took the paper he printed away from me, crumbled it up, shoved my package at me and said, "you wanna be cheap, be cheap somewhere else and don't come back into my store again!" I told him that word of mouth is a powerful thing, so I am using it right now. PLEASE DO NOT USE ICOPY! - unless of course you like to give people your money and be treated in such a manner

If I could give negative stars I would! I have used this ICopy ever since they took over the East…read moreSide Copy in Wakefield. I get business cards, and other related items, until today. Let me say that originally, I worked with Angela, who was always a pleasure, always professional, and knew what she was doing. Apparently, Angela is on maternity leave. Last Monday I left a piece of cardstock and my original business card. I originally designed my card, it is two sided, and I love it, but was looking to switch the background with this card stock design. I left an original card, and piece of the cardstock with Lisa. She told me she would email me a file of the finished product, and we would move forward from there. She led me to believe that it would be relatively soon, and looking back, I probably should have pinned a TIME AND DATE DOWN, because when I hadn't received any email from her by yesterday (ten days from dropping it off), I called for the update on the status. I explained the dilemma to the person answering the phone, and she said that Lisa was on the phone and would call me right back. Well, today rolls around, and no word from Lisa. I called and asked for her, and clearly I am feeling frustrated. She tells me that she didn't think I was in a hurry....ok. Well, it HAS BEEN TEN DAYS! And strangely, amazingly, she tells me that she just so happens to be working on it! Says she will send an email with the file. I wait. Get the file in an email, with a completely different typeface than the original. I email her back, asking if she could use the original font, and she sends another email telling me that it IS THE ORIGINAL! I am done with ICopy on Fortin Road. I will get my business cards elsewhere. One would think that because of the ease of printing today (think Vistaprint, Moo), that a company would work harder to keep their customers happy. This is not the case here. While the manager was apologetic, I will NEVER EVER deal with this shop again.
