I've lived around the area in different complexes from student housing to windwood to sterling. Now that university crest (previously bouldercrest) got new management the apartments are sleeker than ever. No more gross carpet, up to date appliances and still a reasonable price. Not only do they look good the staff are always nice and more than helpful. I LITERALLY put in a maintenance request for my air conditioner and they came the same day ordered a new unit and I got it the very next day. Also you cannot beat the beauty of the coy pond waterfall. I'm so glad I chose this place. read more

The is a scam, and should be avoided at all costs. The whole first week the apartment smelled of open sewage. Not a single amenity has worked the entire length of the lease, despite the high rent. There has been an unannounced ongoing construction project for the length of the lease. The staff is apathetic at best and more often devious. read more

I should also mention that my girlfriend, who was a tenant at the time, had her car broken into in her own parking space because this so-called gated apartment complex left the gate open for several days at a time, allowing pretty much anyone to come in. Yet somehow, ironically, the gates are so old and janky that they won't open at all, leaving tenants either trapped inside and unable to make it class, or forcing them to park outside and not in the parking space that they pay for. Things are improving a little bit. They finally fixed the internet issue after 3 years, so that's good. The ticketing/issue tracking system is still a pretty terrible system which makes it hard to get updates automatically. That said, since about mid-January, Dana has been involved and communication has dramatically improved. In fact, her follow-up today made me come back to adjust my rating. If this continues, the tenant experience will be incredible. Setting to 3 because there's a long history still to be overcome, but things are headed in the right direction. Lived here for about a year. Rented a single room with 2 other friends but the apartment was definitely spacious enough to accommodate all 3 of us, they don't lie when they say they have the biggest rooms lol I loved my apartment despite it being on the 2nd floor. I appreciated the storage closet and our balcony so much! Anyone who would come visit us was always impressed with the size of our place and the high ceilings only made it feel and look larger. I also really liked how they are accommodating to pets, this was huge for us because we had two fur babies at the time. The rent is increasing but the apartments are getting worse...I have been here for about 4yrs and each year there is a significant increase in the rent but this year is ridiculous! The gate is left wide open where people can just walk right in...the maintenance is not keeping up with the cleanliness of the site especially the laundry room. And if you work from home good luck...the walls are extremely thin...and there is a dog who barks 24/7...so these apartments are far from quiet. I have no quite study time at all. And the management said it is not their job duty This is supposed to be a gated apartment, but the gate is wide open for 1/3 of the time. I feel unsafe and I paid for a gated apartment! Also, like all other posts mentioned, the bug issue is basically every unit and every day in summer. They have their residents' cars towed very quickly, even though you pay $40 for an uncovered spot. they insist on working with a tow company that has a very bad reputation in riverside and is known to be unprofessional and disgusting towards the tenants. they'll throw you under the bus and dont protect their own residents. This apartment is really safe and nice. However, if you are a gamer, you might need to think twice to live here because the apartment internet cannot support league of legend (one of the most popular games in the US). The internet is really fast however the internet is not stable (technician from league of legend had helped me to diagnose that the internet here cannot deliver data fully so that you cannot even log in lol) I tried to contact the IT technician here. They worked hard and tried but still not working. Anyways university crest is a really nice apartment if you don't play computer games often. I wish there is an option that we can choose 0 star! First of all, the contract sucks! If you need to move out before the end of the lease, you are going to pay the rest of the rent if you can't find people to take you lease, that's unfair, and besides this, you need to pay them $200 for no reason. Second, when you move out, they are going to take over $200 from your deposite with whatever reason they said that was not even exist and give you no explanation, no info. About a month after you moved out, you will receive their mail with their FINAL decision that they take you over $200 for the cleaning even though you cleaned the apt really well and much cleaner than when you moved into here, and also the maintenances that not exist and they will not show the evidences if you ask. Third, this apartment is not SAFE at all. I saw homeless people eating food in the room that has washing machine when I was going to wash my cloth for multiple times. My roommate let a girl lived here illegally and they didn't notice it until I called 911 because she beat me, when I talked to the people in leasing office, they didn't even notice it and she lived here for over one month! Then, this place is supper dirty! There are rats, cockroaches, flying and all kinds of unknow random pests. As they are so many and show up differently based on their seasons, you have no idea how to deal with them, they already infested before you moved. NO GYM, NO IN UNIT WASHER AND DRYER, NO UPGRADES WHATSOEVER. They do have a pool and spa but we've seen the homeless taking baths in there. Prices keep going up but there's nothing new to offer the tenants. This place robs you. The owners seem to be very greedy. Save yourself the hassle and do not rent here. There's plenty of other places for the same price of not lower that offer more amenities etc. read more

At University Crest, office employees come and go often. Some departures are welcome (Jen), whereas others are missed (Elan and Emmanuel). So, imagine my surprise and delight upon learning that Emmanuel has returned! Charismatic and diligent, he's always on top of my requests, and there are a lot of them! (I'm high maintenance. Sue me.) I love the VIP treatment I get with instant replies and courtesy heads up on the many awesome community events he and Arizandy plan! While I'll miss Elan, there is no better replacement than Emmanuel. I have lived in this apartment complex long enough (~2 years) to admit that the leasing staff matters just as much as the units themselves. I'm glad he's back, and the staff is whole again! As for the units, they're two story town homes with laminate flooring. There's a pool, jacuzzi and communal pay per wash/dry laundry. The rent is about $1300 a month for a one bedroom/one bathroom after the carport fee and $40/month trash, gas and water fee. Utilities and sewage are paid to Riverside Utilities. The entire place is shoddily built, and little is fixed despite rising rent costs. The on-site managers are very young and often do not have answers to our questions. We didn't get our deposit back for issues our apartment had before we moved in, and the management conveniently lost video proof that they took and said they'd save. I have never in my life not gotten the deposit back and left this apartment better than it was when we moved in. Overall, these are good apartments but too expensive. The staff is hard working and attentive to any concerns you have. I really like that they communicate via cellphone too. They also host small monthly events with snacks. I was interested in these apartments because of the close proximity to campus. Monthly rent for a shared master bedroom was $445. (Which is going up in price as I moved out). An optional parking spot cost $50. (They also charge for a bike parking spot outside). Electricity for us ranged between $30-$200 depending on the weather. Laundry machines are pay per wash (You aren't allowed to hang clothes outside either). Fees can add up so make sure you do the math before signing a lease. Two of my roommates moved out a few months before their lease because they could not afford their expenses. If your on a tight student budget or low income you can find good deals for shared houses in nearby neighborhoods. Cons: thieves stole stuff out of my brother's car even though its a gated complex, wifi is inconsistent, extra fee for parking, extra fee for bike storage, stairs (not a big deal but carrying your bike up and down can be a drag), deposit not fully refunded Pros: close to campus, kitchen appliances, friendly and attentive staff, pool, better than The Palms read more

This apartment has a greedy owner and don't care about their tenants. Our unit did not have a heater for 3 months in the winter and also water and electricity gets turned off every now and then. They did not clean our unit when moved in which I know was charged from previous tenant's deposit. Also they don't give your full deposit as they charge too much. If you need to stay here: rent is cheap and proximity to UCR. If these two are your only factors into apartment hunting university crest is for you. read more

Leasing office ignored maintenance request to fix our heater in the winter where my 10 month olds room reached as low as 55 three nights in a row. Two weeks went by with no update or response until contacted a third time. They then sent maintenance but with no heads up and maintenance entered with no notice of entry no text not communication what so ever s d scared myself and baby. We were then lied to three days later then they sent maintenance again AFTER TEXTING ME SAYING THEY TRIED AND I SENT HIM AWAY and we were told that he was instructed to tell leasing office to put us in the list with the other units with broken heaters and they will let us know when the hvac company will come. Three days and no update so I reached out again. They resent maintenance who then said he can Instal temp heaters ... we asked why this was not done three weeks ago when we submitted the request or when he came the first time and he said "the office tells me when to install them and where but we have been installing these in units for months cause all the heaters are failing. We were lied to twice and purposely left without a temporary heater. They have been harassing us like this ever sense I got upset about my car being broken into the third time and they promised they were installing more cameras but never did and then refused to even call me when I text them about it and asked to be called. I have pages of texts of lies contradicting themselves. My family owns a property management company... they violated atleast three laws and rights and I'm sure there are more. read more

Poor quality housing, everything falling apart at the seams with no cleaning or repairs done from previous tenants (sure hope they got their full deposit back cuz it definitely wasn't used at all), management is really poor with organization, loud with the thinnest walls I have ever lived with in an apt, poor insulation, also $450 to get your car back even if it's registered and has a tag hanging. Know your CA towing rights, this complex utilizes a predatory towing company that hopes you're ignorant so they can maximize their money. You're only getting the close location to campus. I lived here for three years and I honestly have nothing but bad feelings towards this place. I have seen no improvement whatsoever over these three years either. Do yourself a favor and either move out now or don't bother living here. From my experience, I can say that everything from the previous reviews are true. 1. My bike was stolen here when it was parked in their gated bike racks. A security camera was pointing at the racks so I asked the office if I could see the tapes and they said the camera wasn't even on. 2. Unreliable Wi-Fi, which is very inconvenient for students. 3. They charged us extra for living on the second floor??? 4. There was a solid year where the water would be shut off in the entire building at least once a week. I had a solid three weeks where we had cold showers because it took them that long to process the maintenance request. 5. Also took them a month to process our request to fix a leak in our roof. 6. I lived right next to the entrance gate which would occasionally break, making it pretty unsafe. Apart from that, both pedestrian and car gate were always loud when it opened and closed. 7. As other reviews mentioned, no matter how hard you try, there are always bugs in the apartment. I have had personal bad experiences with how they handled my issues as well: 1. They accused me of kicking open their pedestrian gate door and said they saw it on the security camera (which miraculously works now) and threatened to charge me for damage of property. (I do not know the staff on a face-to-face or name basis, and they still assumed it was me when they don't even know me.) I asked them what time they saw "me" do this and they told me 3pm, which didn't make sense because I got home hours before that plus I even went through the car gate. Which means they had no facts and purely profiled and assumed it was me. I told them I wanted to see the tapes of me doing this they finally texted "Okay then! Do not worry about it :)" 2. Saw these people hopping over the fence late one night and rummaging through the storage closet for the maintenance workers. They were also running up and down different apartment stairs. Renter beware I'd give a 0 if I could! This will be a long post but I hope it helps the next person from not renting here. You are shown a modal townhouse so before you sign on the dotted line make sure you see the one they are renting to YOU. My husband said it looked nothing like the townhouse they showed him. I did a year lease and it was a long year. I had problems from day 1. I was suppose to move in on a Saturday but they emailed me saying the place was ready early so I decided to move in Wednesday instead. My husband found the townhouse so I had never been there before. They handed me my key and that was it I had to find the apartment on my own and just fyi they didn't do a walk through with me. The place was dirty, there were ants everywhere and many things were broken. I told, them this is not move in ready so they didn't have me pay for that first day. The screen door was broken so they had to order a new one and it took a week. (I was getting married the week after we moved in and had people coming over). Maintenance was actually using our patio as storage when I moved in and had to ask for their stuff to be removed. A bug guy had to come every month to keep the cockroaches and ants at bay but after the first two months of the inconvenience of them coming in my apartment I gave up. The office lady said, so is there open food in the kitchen, duh where else am I suppose to put my food but the ants aren't in the kitchen, there is a colony at my front door. The door doesn't fit the frame so you see light through it and it looks like there was a slot in the door that they just threw back together. The screens upstairs and downstairs are broken but never fixed. I still have a leak under the sink that maintenance came in to fix the second day I was there but that didn't get done either. The border around the who place is chipped or broken but was told they were replaced 2 years ago so they won't get approval to replace them. There is mold under the sink in the bathroom that is coming through so looks like they just painted over it. My husband had to put stuff around the a/c unit upstairs because you could see through the other side so obviously it would be air conditioning outside. The walk in gate or drive through gate is almost always broken. There is like 8 washer for the whole apartment complex and out of the year I was there not all of them were working but you wouldn't know until after you put your money in the machine. The creek like thing that was built in the middle of the complex is yelling gardia. It's super green and gross and sometimes has bubbles collect at the end of the creek. The storage lock didn't work with the key they gave me so I had go buy my own. I don't know if this was for everyone but in my unit you either had hot water or cold water and they turn it off all the time only in the last few mo the has our water not been turned off but before that it was turned off 2 to 3 times a month. The floors aren't level. Black stuff was coming from under my fridge. Thank goodness I took pictures the first day I moved in because I've called Doug Whetton corporate twice, the first week I moved in and 2 weeks before I move out and they don't care. The guy Michael says I'll talk to them or I'll take note what we've talked about, how could that be if you didn't get my name or the apartment I'm living in so how can that be possible. The ladies in the office are nice but nice doesn't get things done. Maintenance isnt in during weekend so your screwed if something is wrong. My toilet started leaking on Friday night and they didn't come to fix it until Monday. There is now a mold ring around the toilet where the leak was because it took them so long. My sliding door was broken(literally wouldn't close all the way) but because it was the weekend maintenance wasn't in. They came not Monday but Tuesday to fix the sliding door but was it fixed nope, they don't have the part and have to order it and here I am almost 2 weeks later and still not fixed. There wifi is a joke we could never finish a show because it would freeze so we just went and got our own internet service. Office said wifi is a courtesy because I didn't want it anymore since it wasn't working. Nothing is a courtesy because who is paying the wifi bill. They never check on parking, our parking was taken all the time and you have to pay $35 for a spot so we decided we won't pay anymore and find parking outside. Nothing but problems here and I've rented many times before absolutely the worst place. If you do decide to rent here take pictures and communicate with emails and texts so there is proof. I move out next week so I'll update on how my experience with that goes but I'm not expecting a good one. read more

Any Review below 4 stars is probably from a first time college student living in an apartment, and not knowing how to handle a new place. Truly, this is the best apartment complex near UCR that is off campus. Unmentioned pros: free internet (get a 5g router-70 MS ping on video games),work orders usually took less than 3 days (fast!), monthly activities to keep the apartment complex upbeat and lively, walls are NOT thin, within an apartment but that's normal, I could never hear my neighbors music or anything. Cons: don't look at these apartments if you are trying to have huge parties tbh. Max people an apartment can handle is probably 10-15. They're nice enough to fit 15+ people, but that's not the culture of the complex. Meaning if you are a grad student or family, this is also a good quiet neighborhood read more

I can't have a relaxing day at home because wifi is REALLY slow....I sometimes have to drive to school just so I can use my wifi...... If you're a student, just letting you know it might be hard to do homework. I emailed them many times but nothing has changed. I'm currently using my LTE in my room, because my wifi is not working AGAIN. UGH. Other than that, this place is safe and cute! I don't understand why people can't park at the guest spot not during school hours, but that's their policy. If your friend comes over, they need to street park and it's sometimes really hard to find one! *update: we asked if they can fix our doorknob because it was completely broken in our front door. Maybe they did, and didn't fix it again...Water is out again without any email notice....nice... *Another update moving out! My housemates and I cleaned for 5 hours, wiped the whole floor, took everything out, never used the stove, and made sure there were no marks on the floor! Out of the $400.00 security deposit, they gave us back around 23% back. I lived there for 2 years. The only reason I moved out was because the rent went up too high for the value but it's because it's a great location. You can walk to ucr in 10 minutes or bike in 5. First, the apartments are safe. Which is good of course. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Every request was handled quickly and they have made alot of upgrades to the place over the two years. They really listen to the complaints and try to address the issues. The staff is either current or former UCR students so they know what you are dealing with. Its improved over time and I think it will keep getting better. I recently moved out and my overall experience was watevs..there were a lot of issues and it was more uncomfortable than not the whole year I was on the lease. The wifi would turn off and on, but it was convenient the fact they even had any wifi. There was also random water shutoffs and at time they didnt notify us.. Our house paid a total of $400 for security deposit and got less than $100 back..we all cleaned for 5+ hours and everything was CLEAN. We never used the stove/oven area and we got charged for a replacement We got charged for cleaning services which cost $100+ when we cleaned EVERYTHING. DONT LIVE HERE OF YOU WANT TO PAY $600 FOR PARKING IN A CARPORT... R I D I C U L O U S...like hello?! I had to pay $50 each MONTH for parking and if you lose to you have to pay an additional $25-30.. The walls are really thin btw! I had a few times where I had to listen to very unpleasant sounds...and I never wanted to study at home due to different circumstances. I have three work orders that have been open since the day I moved in. There's no mechanism to report, much less resolve, high-priority off-hours issues. This is my personal experience! I moved into my apartment on March 3rd. I took over someone's lease and now I understand why they did not want to live here. The walls are so thin you can hear exactly where your upstairs neighbor is located! They charge $50 per car just to park inside the gate. Btw the pedestrian gate is broken so anyone can walk in if they choose to. We were offered a deal to renew our lease which was great because the rent I pay right now is within my budget. I asked how much my rent would increase and it is a 23% increase! That's $254 dollars more! This apartment has no central a/c, no gym, no washer and dryer hookups..I believe the increase is not in line for what this apartment has to offer! Due to the corporate greed I don't think I will renew my lease. I gave one star for a staff member who is helpful and quick to reply to my emails. Look for a different apartment complex to move into this one is not worth it and and will leave you disappointed. read more

Before you read this review I wanted to state that this is just my OPINION and my personal experiences with this Apartment complex so if you don't agree then I'm glad you had a better experience then I did. The reason I wanted to state this outright is because in my opinion the people who work here strike me as the type to try and remove my review and slap me with a lawsuit simply by speaking my mind and opinion. Again I am not stating these as FACTS just as my personal experience and opinions. I want to provide some context before talking about the place as it currently is now I moved into this Apartment Complex back in 2013 and lived there till 2015 when it was under the old management of Rod, Emily, Joe, and Jimmy. They were more laid back and understanding and gave big discounts for signing on to live for a year at a time and even kept packages sent from UPS or FedEx in there office to keep them safe so they wouldn't be stolen from our doorsteps. And when I had an issue or needed a repair and placed a call I would get a response either that day or the next day and they would come and fix the problem as soon as they responded. Basically, it was the little things that made that place work and the warmness of the owners and employees that made me feel like it was a real community. As for the new management my personal experience with them wasn't that pleasant I didn't care for the increases in rent they made and for some of the craziest reasons; for example, charging an extra $50 dollars for the privilege to park your car in a car port, getting charge extra if your apartment happened to have a view of the pool, buying inexpensive products to add to the apartments in order to justify the increases as well, etc. Other strange changes occurred once the new management took over such as changing the clicker gates to where you could only enter through one and only exit through another one. While before it was possible to enter and exit through both gates that way people on each side of the complex would just use whatever side they lived on more frequently but now that new policy in my opinion wasted time, made it harder to park and caused more traffic backup within the complex due to everyone trying to navigate entering or exiting one gate. They also started a new policy where they didn't hold onto any packages sent by UPS or FedEx until we could retrieve it thus, they would just have the post office take it back and since I was in school at the time I was ordering textbooks online to save money from buying them on campus and as a result of this system one of my textbook orders got lost in the shuffle. As for the personal experiences with the new employees in my opinion it was rather cold, patronizing, and just had me feeling like I was walking on eggshells. I am mainly referring to the manager Jennifer who probably is a nice person and well liked by others but as I said in my opinion it didn't seem that way to me. Whenever I had an issue that needed repairing I was instructed to call her and then she would call the new repair employees they had hired but when I asked the simple question if I could possibly get their number so I could be more specific with them on the repairs and let them know my schedule she got upset and angry with me saying that all repairs had to go through her; so I never asked that question again. However, I found myself calling her on a frequent basis because even though I had things in my apartment that were breaking or not functioning the repair people never showed up not even once. I is my opinion that the reason they didn't bother with my apartment at the time was because they didn't care to schedule repairs for an apartment that they hadn't renovated yet and were just waiting for me to move out to do so. Again I don't know if that is the reason but speaking to other tenants who lived near me they said they had experienced similar problems. But, maybe they were just busy with all the reconstruction at the time. Whenever I went in person to see Jennifer and ask about some of these changes or to ask if the repairs would be done soon she got defensive and upset saying that I didn't know the laws of Apartment agreements and that she knew the law. While it is true I don't know all the fine inner working of California apartment agreements I just felt like she could have said that to me without being so sharp because it really hurt my feelings and discouraged me from asking her further questions or making complaints that I thought were reasonable :'( I planned to move out in the beginning of August 2015 since I signed my lease in August 2013 and renewed it in August of 2014 and thought they would honor it but they gave me June to move out. I ended up breaking down and crying since it would be near impossible to move for me by then. But, eventually they agreed and said they were doing this out of the kindness of their hearts. I lived in these apartments from 2012-2015 when I was attending UCR. The prior owners were amazing and welcoming in these apartments. This was my fiurst apartment and made many wonderful memories here. To my sadness, my departure was due to the rising costs of the apartment and the new unwelcoming environment. The current owners are own concerned about making a profit. Construction: As the purchased the property to make renovations, the construction began. I was told by Jennifer , the office manager, that it would only take place between 8-5 when I called about construction waking me at 6 am. Later on they continued well until 8 pm, disturbing in my studies and work. Not to mention the workers constantly leaving doors open to empty apartments. At one point the boilers burst in the whole back of the complex, leaving scaling hot water in the showers and even toiliets! It took them 2 days to get someone to come out and fix it. Costs: At first glance, $366 seems like a great deal...until you see "by the bed." My one bedroom rose to $986/a month which didn't include the carport. They wanted to charge me an additional $50/month for the use of the assigned carport. Management: Jennifer seems nice but rather unhelpful. Whenever I called for questions she never seemed to answer the phone. I was constantly finding notes on my door with notices of water shut off for hours at a time followed by a poorly written apology. Then came the evictions of families who lived there for years, in order to appeal to the student market. I've also seen the new owner, whom at every glance, was constantly screaming at the construction workers. The old Boulder Crest apartments were home. University Crest is not, look elsewhere. read more

I lived at University Crest for two years (2015-2017) in a two bedroom apartment with one roommate. We were the first to live in this newly renovated unit. Expenses: Utilities for the Complex: ~$20/ month in 2016 (per person), went up to $38/ month in 2017 (per person) Utilities for the Unit: ~$70/ month in summer (total), ~$100/ month in winter (total) Internet is provided by the complex, but it's slower (15Mbps shared among the entire complex) and is monitored / blocked from accessing certain websites. PROS: Safety - Feels very safe and secure (except when the gates are broken). Close to campus police department. Proximity to Campus - Easy to walk to most popular parts of campus. Front Desk Staff - All employees are friendly. CONS: Front Desk Hours - Posted hours are 9am-5pm Monday through Friday, actual hours are closer to 10am-3pm Monday through Thursday. Mail - Mail is collected and sorted by the front desk. Non-USPS (e.g. Amazon) delivers to your door, other packages are held at the front desk. Since the front office hours are during a normal working day, it is really difficult to get packages unless you can find a time to be home in the middle of the day. Ceiling Leak in Main Hallway - The ceiling leaked through a vent from the upstairs unit for six weeks. The leak occurred any time the upstairs unit used their heat. We were unable to use our heat because the area with the leak sparked when we tried to turn ours on. University Crest acknowledged the problem, but the pipes are so old that they have to be custom made, and only one manufacturer makes them. The part needed was on backorder and they have "no idea" when they will be made again. The leak was never actually resolved, it just got warm enough that the upstairs unit no longer needs to use the heat. Rat - We had a rat and University Crest did not care. They put out one mouse trap (too small to catch what was clearly a rat), and did not reply to additional maintenance requests or calls. We had to call our own exterminator ($350+) who took care of the problem in one afternoon. Shower Mold - We had mold in our shower coming from the bathroom above our unit, so not something we could handle on our own. It took maintenance 4 weeks to come by, and when they did come all they did was paint over it. Mold grew back within the week. It took daily calls and visits to the front desk to have the problem fully addressed, nearly two months after the initial maintenance request. It took so long that I had the mold sent to a lab a tested before the complex addressed the problem (fortunately non-toxic but still gross). Towing - My car has been towed from a parking place assigned to me twice. The towing company comes by every night and tows any car without a permit. Hope your permit never falls down, it's $300 to get your car back! Front Gates - Car gate completely breaks 2-3 times per year for 2-3 weeks each time. You can always get in and out, but considering you are paying to live in a gated community, I found it unacceptable. Pedestrian gate is broken about 50% of the year. read more

My dad just moved here and he recently was in the hospital to have his apendix removed. He asked me to pay his rent and told me to pick up his check and put it in my account etc and pay the rent bill so I did. I received a confirmation number and everything and now days later we get a notice on the door that it wasn't fully paid but we have three days to clear it. I'm not sure what happened but my dad is straightening it out today but I think that's super nice of them to give u time still to clear up the issues. They don't have to do that but they are. Him being in the hospital really screwed things up since he had to stay there for three days just so happened the first week of the month so I'm stuck paying all his bills for him. I stood the night at his apartment after reading the reviews and I was shocked to find that nothing was bad about the place. I wax expecting it to be loud, have the water not working, and just have the air conditioners be a "tunnel for sound". Well I found nothing of the sort. Looks like a great place to live. Everyone has their own parking spot never once do I see people from off the streets come in and I go to my dad's a lot since he and my mom just got divorced. Anyway I love his apartment complex the people that work there are great they even go our of their way to text my dad and ask him if everything Is going okay and if he needs any maintenance done. To me that type of service it not at all present in other places. He's luckily to have found such a pleasant and understanding place. More like 4 1/2 stars. Apartments look like photos on the website; large, private and affordable. Front office staff and maintenance team friendly and hard working- take time to know your name and solve any issues you may be having. Safe pet friendly community conveniently located. Free internet that works once some of the problems were addressed. My only "complaint" is no gym but I knew that signing the lease so overall very happy with my decision. read more

I have been staying here for nearly seven months and honestly am proud of the apartment I chose! There is so many food places nearby and nice places to exercise at! the laundry, pool, Jacuzzi and lease office are conveniently in the middle of the complex. read more

Pros:This place is nice and potentially one of the better apartments around, but I can't say for sure because this is the first apartment I have ever moved into. The renovations that took place definitely do seem like they were rushed if you have an eye for detail, however nothing serious in my apartment is out of order. The spaciousness of the apartment itself is nice and the design setup of the kitchen is better than most apartments I have seen. Stove dishwasher and fridge/freezer unit are all working A-ok! At first there were some problems with internet and water but they all seem fine now. The internet isn't the fastest (6ms) but its fast enough to load a 720p video most of the time. The apartment managers are extremely sweet and will take care of most of your problems. Cons: The noise levels in these apartments is pretty bad. I can hear a baby under me music on the bottom left of me and voices from either side of me. Also the air conditioning units (not central ac but two seperate units sticking out of the living room and bedroom) are tunnels for sound. In the night you can hear everything and anything going outside of your bedroom. I am not exactly sensitive to sound but I notice these things may be a huge concern to many. Also certain parts of my floor are squeaky when stepped on and i'm sure that cannot be pleasant for those under me. Overall the place isn't really that bad. Haven't noticed any huge security problems and I don't hate the place. Not sure how other apartments match up with noise but that is the one flaw of this apartment complex I think. read more

This is the worst place to live you could possibly choose. If you can think of it, this place has it: ants, roaches, gnats, mosquitoes, horrible neighbors, crime (my front door got kicked in!), uncaring managers, everything. I'll try to say what happened in chronological order. First: When I signed up this place was well kept, pretty pond with fish and turtles, but halfway through my year contract they let it dry up and become a swamp. Soon after I was killing gnats and mosquitoes in my apartment daily. Second: Upstairs neighbors begin throwing organic waste in my porch area. They threw raw eggs, various vegetables, a melon, and crumbled sushi sea weed everywhere. I had no choice but to clean it up since I have a dog, and she would try to eat it all. Third: This place also is extremely slow with maintenance, and they do the bare minimum to fix whatever is broken. The security gate is near the entrance of my apartment, and was broken. It had been broken wide open for about 5 days. While I was in the living room with my girlfriend and dog, some dudes, probably in their teens, kicked my door in. Once they realized we were home they ran off. Say goodbye to your peace of mind. Fourth: Put in a maintenance request about my fire alarm beeping periodically all day, they say they "fixed" it while I wasn't home. It was still beeping, so I take it off the wall to fix it myself, and ANTS EVERYWHERE. They poured out of the wall, like literally hundreds. Thank god I had Raid spray. Absolutely disgusting. Oh that reminds me of the time that I saw some cockroaches on my stove... Anyways, DO NOT LIVE HERE! read more
