I…read morecome from a family of Disney fanatics and grew up watching all of the classic Disney movies. Walt Disney Studios is the largest film studio in Hollywood and the fifth-oldest in the United States. This 51-acre lot in Burbank is the corporate headquarters for the Walt Disney Company. Walt Disney Studios has prominent film production companies that include Walt Disney Pictures, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar, Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm and 20th Century Studios. This campus and the Disney animated movie making process were featured in the 1941 film "The Reluctant Dragon". I tried to do this tour before the Covid fiasco, but they cancelled all touring for a couple years after the pandemic. When I recently became a D23 member, I got an offer from them to check out this tour after they brought them back. Of course my crazy Disney family members were jealous of me. I had a fun time exploring the place where so many of the great Disney movies were produced and made. The tour lasted a few hours and we were able to shop at the Disney store located on the premises after the tour. "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" was the first feature-length animated film for Walt Disney in 1934. The success of that movie financed the construction of this studio lot. The tour included seeing many of the soundstages, the Disney Legends Plaza (honoring those who have made a significant impact on the Disney legacy), the Team Disney Building, the Frank G. Wells Building and the original Animation Building where many of the classic animated movies were made. We even got up close to the iconic Disney water tower. My favorite part of the tour was seeing Walt Disney's original office and being able to hold one of his many Oscar awards. Going on this tour is a must for any Disney fan if you want to see where Disney magic is made. I really enjoyed my relaxing afternoon here at Disney Studios.

BAYWATCH - COMING TO YOUR LOCAL FOX STATION IN JANUARY 2027…read more Now that I've piqued your interest...time to relate one of the best experiences I've had in the last few years. On Thursday, July 23, 2026, I was privileged to have the opportunity to have a individual private tour of the set for the new Baywatch reboot during live rehearsals and a meet and greet with actress, Hassie Harrison. Big thanks to Fremantle, the British TV production and distribution company which also own the rights to other shows including The Price is Right and Family Feud and Range Media Partners which represents Ms. Harrison along with many other entertainment professionals. Making my way from my hotel in West Hollywood to the Fox Studio Lot in Century City was stress-free. After parking in the garage and waiting a few minutes, members of Fremantle Media escorted me first to get a coffee pick-me-up and a little later a walk to Studio 15 housing the Baywatch set. It was fascinating to see the many sets they had constructed on the premises and particularly the incredible detail and effort which was put into each one. I spent approximately three and half hours on the lot and I was never disinterested for a second...I was literally like a kid in a candy store...everything I saw and experienced intrigued me. Watching the actors go through their scenes multiple times and being afforded the opportunity to sit in a director's chair was fun to say the least. But of course, the best part was interacting with my hosts and eventually with Ms. Harrison herself. When we finally met, she gave me a big TEXAS HUG and we discussed her favorite charitable organization, Love Leo Rescue, based in Santa Monica, which is dedicated to saving abandoned and abused dogs. Ms. Harrison took me through the main set where they were filming that day and I was introduced to some of the other actors. Without a doubt, many photos were taken that day however, because the show hasn't even aired as of the date of this review, September 4, 2026, I can't post any pictures involving the set for obvious reasons. But the ones I can will certainly do! Again, a gracious thanks to Fox; Fremantle and Emma H, Ron D., and Lisa P; Range Media Partners and Rachel K; and of course to both actresses Hassie Harrison and Jessica Belkin! IT WAS A DAY TO REMEMBER! YOU GUYS ROCK!

And the issue here would be the security at the entrance, no matter how many times I have been here, they still checking names and sometimes if production didn't update my name on the system for the day, then security would not let me in, which is frustrating because I need to be on time where I wanted to be, they're not very flexible, one time, the main parking entrance got technical issues with the gate, I had to park on the same side with construction workers and walked to the main gate, but security there was even worse, there was 2 of them that day when I had to come in for fitting, the younger guy gave me an attitude the entire time and being super rude, so I talked to the older gentleman, I told him that the other guy refused to give me a parking pass and sounded like I was lying to him. I said I had no reason to illegally entering this place, I only here to work, even when I showed him my email, so is he calling me a liar? Only then they decided to let me in. I wasn't the only one experienced this, one time that same staffs refused to let another girl in and she had to wait outside in her car while calling casting director so they can talk to security, her car ended up unable to start, and she had to stand by it until AAA can come and give her a jump, and because she was at a parking meter which also expired. Just terrible right? After the holidays I came back and the new security let me in just fine, I think I did address the issue a couple times last year, so this morning security asked for my name, then asked whether or not I was here before and if I knew where to go, I said yes, and he let me pass. Finally some changes for the new year.

This review is for the Jeopardy taping experience…read more My party of 2 had a whole ordeal with attending, as we were previously told via email that they were done taping during the time of our visit. In a moment of serendipity, a taping was about to begin at the same time we were there for a studio tour. I'm not sure how or why there was misinformation given to us, but we had to wait on standby to be considered for a spot and they allowed us to reschedule our tour. We waited patiently as all other guests arrived and were checked in to see if we made the cut. At the very end, we were informed that we made it in! All of the other attendees were rooting for us, which was intense but helped to pass the time. The experience was lengthy and involved a lot of waiting around, but it was a unique and fun behind the scenes look at a show we love. The experience being free of cost to attend makes it a great value, and everyone was friendly during our time there. The only thing that could have made it better was to have some snacks, as I did get a little famished during the 5 hour window because I had not planned to stay that long.
