A great experience with Easy Moving. They moved a 4x8 pool table and we're very knowledgeable on…read morethe specific process for disassembling and reassembling the table - which is better now than it was before the move. Price was very reasonable! I'd highly recommend Easy Moving for moving sensitive equipment.

I honestly don't even know where to begin. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY…read more I hired this company to empty my storage locker in Toronto, professionally repack my belongings, and ship everything to me in Beverly Hills, California. I was relocating across the country and was specifically assured that, because I had already moved to California, I was in good hands and could trust them to take care of my belongings. I took them at their word. Unfortunately, they completely took advantage of my situation. I had a gut feeling this company was going to be bad after reading some of the other reviews, but they offered a good price and I decided to ignore my intuition. Big mistake. I should have listened to the warning signs. From the beginning, the delivery process was unnecessarily difficult. They were extremely difficult to coordinate with regarding the delivery time and there were delays with the delivery as well. Rather than having a reasonable conversation about a new delivery window, I was essentially given very little flexibility and ultimately had to accommodate the movers in the middle of my workday with only 12 hours' notice. To make matters worse, I was required to pay the entire balance upfront before the truck was even unloaded. So by the time I was actually able to inspect my belongings, the company had already received all of my money. Given everything that happened afterward, the requirement to have everything paid before I could even see what condition my belongings arrived in feels, at the very least, questionable. And unfortunately, the problems didn't end with the delivery. My belongings were handled with minimal care, and when problems started becoming apparent after delivery, I received essentially zero help, support, or accountability. The most upsetting example is a dog statue that was a gift from my grandmother and has significant sentimental value to me. I specifically paid this company for professional repacking services because I wanted to make sure my fragile and valuable belongings were properly protected. When I finally unpacked the box, the statue was severely damaged -- multiple cracks throughout it, a leg completely broken off, and pieces broken from the base. Looking at how it was packed, it was clear to me that the bottom of the statue had not been adequately protected. I filed a claim and explained the circumstances. Their response? They refused to pay me anything. Their reasoning is that their contract requires every box to be opened and inspected while the movers are still there. I am a single woman living on my own. How exactly was I realistically supposed to unpack and thoroughly inspect every single box from an entire move while the movers stood there waiting? That is an absurd expectation. The movers were also double-parked on the street and could not realistically stay while I opened and inspected everything. And here's what makes that clause particularly frustrating: I had already been required to pay them in full before the truck was unloaded. So even if I had somehow managed to open every single box on the spot, they already had all of my money. It is difficult not to question the logic of putting the entire burden on the customer under those circumstances. I specifically paid EXTRA for professional repacking services. If I had wanted to take responsibility for figuring out how every fragile item was packed and whether it would survive transport, I wouldn't have paid a professional company to do it. And yet, when something was damaged, there was zero sense of accountability. Rather than acknowledging that something may have gone wrong with the packing or transportation, they hid behind a contractual clause and refused to offer any compensation whatsoever. But that's not even the only issue. I was also missing a nightstand from my delivery. I flagged this to the company and they offered zero meaningful assistance in trying to track it down. No sense of urgency. No real support. No ownership of the problem. Just another situation where I was left to figure it out myself. That is what makes this experience so infuriating. I was told I could trust this company to take care of my belongings while I relocated across the country. Instead, once my belongings were in their hands, they handled them with minimal care and then provided virtually no support when I reported problems after delivery. This company is a total flop. The cheap price is absolutely not worth the stress, damage, and complete lack of customer support that came with it. If you are considering using them, DO NOT. Listen to the bad reviews. I wish I had. Especially if you are moving lng-distance, relocating out of state, or have valuable or sentiment
