Sad to have to leave, as I was a client since the day they opened. The owner Tran does not care about anything other than money. She scammed me multiple times in regards to gift cards and over charged me for the past 2 years I went there (I was very loyal to my nail tech Emily) my nails doubled in price over the span of a year, this is pure greed. Even after Emily had to retire, I still tried to support the salon and she was so awful to deal with it simply wasn't worth the headache. I now go to Kayden at Cappucci nails in Tampa- his skills far surpass any techs at this location and the experience is enjoyable, his prices are fair and he's always so nice to be around- it's worth driving 45 minutes (I'm 5 minutes from unity) for an experience where I can relax and they are happy to have me as a customer. read more

I called before going since it was towards the end of the day and made an appointment with the manager over the phone for 5:30. I arrived about 5 minutes before to give myself enough time to park and pick out my colors. I walk in and no one acknowledged me and then I waited for 30 minutes only to be told that they were unable to do what I wanted that day. It's quite frustrating because I could've gone somewhere else but it was my mistake for not asking upfront. I've tried to come here before and the service is 50/50. Designs are hit or miss but the convenience of having this location be so close to where I live made it excuses me and I would just typically find a design that they felt more comfortable doing. However between not being acknowledged when coming in to waiting for 30 minutes without a word of why my appointment was pushed back is beyond frustrating and a dealbreaker for me. read more

Literally the WORST nail salon I have EVER been to and that's saying a lot being from the Midwest. $129.00 for this HORRIFIC paint job. Literally highway robbery. Cut me up, had me bleeding, painful, got paint on my new sandals and felt rushed because the lady doing my nails was in on her day off. I've never been so upset or bothered with my nails. Very rude. Long I know but I love reviewing places with this much detail good or bad... this one just happens to be bad. My friend is a regular here and so my husband and I went with her to both get pedicures. My husband almost couldn't stay due to the high acrylic smell but opened their back door and it ventilated it enough for him to handle it. They were busy and short staffed this Saturday so I completely understand I may have had a different experience going on a weekday. However my husband sitting next to the two of us waited an hour 15 min before someone freed up and then they took someone else instead of him. We were verbal about how upset this made us so the Manager came to take care of him. She of course apologized but she was quite distracted the whole time and being stopped often as she was still the Manager and while he wasn't upset by this, I definitely was. The lady doing my nails was quiet but nice enough however I asked her for the gel color options. She brought them over and I picked the one I wanted. I did not understand these options had both gel and non gel options since that has never been my experience anywhere else... though I did ask for gel colors so I was quite confused and irritated to see that she finished with non gel. As my toes get destroyed miraculously within a week EVERY time I do a normal pedicure I make it a rule to only do gel. They were already done and I had no interest in her fixing her mistake as by this point I wanted to leave that place so fast! I of course wore running shoes as I did not plan to need drying time so had to walk out of there barefoot as their faux flops they provide I cannot stand. My friend who is the regular is much more abrupt about when she doesn't like something and perhaps that's the attitude you need to love this place like she does. I am not that way and would rather pay and never come back. So since I do take responsibility in this since I grinned and bore everything that occurred without saying how upset I was, I give 2 stars otherwise I would give it 0. The workers were rude and giggled after everything you said to them and spoke in another language the entire time - it was uncomfortable. Went for a relaxing pedicure and that was not what I got. I didn't do gel or dip just regular polish and now my toes are swollen, red and painful. Not sure if the instuments used were properly sterilized. Wouldn't go for a return visit. read more

WORST SALON. Unity in Clearwater- ranks in the bottom 3 of ALL nail places ever tried. I made an appt for a gel manicure for 6pm. Got there a little after 6. There were 3 techs, all in the middle of appts. I was told to "pick a color" and wait for "a few minutes". Ten minutes later, one of the women instructs me to sit at the table and has me put my hands in a bowl of acetone. 10 more minutes later! Another woman tells me she will be finishing up and take me. I waited more than a few minutes but finally she finishes with her client and starts on my mani. By this time it's about 650p ?? What happens after, is like "what not to do" manicure 101. Does not soak, does not push back cuticles, very awkward with the trimmers, hardly cleans up my nails, barely buffs them. Then her family comes in, she has to leave for an event and she hurriedly throws paint on them. I had to go home and clean them up. Two days later, nails already chipped. There was more to this disaster of a place, but bottom line- save your time, money and nails- go elsewhere. read more

Coming to a nail place to relax and feel comfortable and the entire time workers talking to each other in their language and giggling which is very unprofessional and makes the client feel uncomfortable. Charging 35$ for a pedicure that was on the price list then neglecting to tell you that you get charged almost $20 for gel color which I find ridiculous pricing and it was nowhere. Prices not posted anywhere, they get away with pricing things on the spot. Not worth your hard earned money. Better off for people to start buying their stuff and doing own nails. read more

Since I was only getting a manicure, they invited me to wait in the massage chair next to my friends pedicure chair. They even offered us complimentary drinks, including wine. Came on for a simple pedicure and foot massage. Was bombarded with hellos and where are you from, what do you do? The lady who did my pedicure was terrible. Kept on asking me if I was married or had a girlfriend. What does that have to do with a pedicure you ask? Well then she pointed to my foot and did a stroking motion. Everyone was so nice and they went over the prices of what I wanted before I even sat down. They went through everything with me and helped make sure it would fit my budget. Once we figured out what I was getting and the price, they gave me to the nail tech. My Tech was Diamond, and I have never had such an attentive, willing and sweet woman do my nails. She was very friendly, and we had great conversations! Through each stage, she would check my nails and if she didn't like something fix it. After she checked, she would show me and ask if I wanted anything changed or if I liked it! She was seeing things I would never have noticed and fixing them! I don't know about any other women out there, but I've never had a tech see that a nail was slightly off shape, and ask you if you wanted it completely redone! But Diamond did that!!! I had a gel manicure and pedicure and my nails look superb - they are so well done, so glossy and just gorgeous. The best part was at the end, I have a little trouble walking after an accident and Tran walked me out to Uber driver down the steps which was so appreciated! Asked me to get up and move my car some lady was saying i was blocking her i said to nail tech can she wait a few? she went to tell the pissy lady and she said i have to leave now! This place is awesome! I went after work around 5:30 and was seen right away. (There were about 8 clients in the salon when i arrived) They employees were very welcoming. The gentlemen who greeted me right away asked what service i wanted. He wrote it down on a service sheet that way the person who was doing my services knew exactly what i was going to get. He also told me the price upfront which was a very nice surprise because I hate guessing at the end on what cost what. Jimin did my pedicure and SNS nails. She was very good. I will definitely be going back to her. She listened when I had comments, made sure it was exactly what i wanted & didn't just pretend not to hear me. This was the first time I got SNS on my nails & as long as they hold up, I will be getting them again. (Also, the nail color selection was unbelievable!
