After our car insurance road service completely let us down, basically stranding me and my companion 23 miles South of Flagstaff on I-17 with a blown radiator hose for four hours, we googled towing companies in Flagstaff and United came up. We called them, and the owner of the company answered the phone, he asked where we were, and said he'd be there in 20 minutes, which he was. He loaded up our poor damaged auto on his flatbed quickly and professionally, and drove us and our car back to Phoenix, dropping our car and us safely and kindly to our destinations, and charged us a fair and reasonable price for a long trip back, being good company and conversation all along the way. I have nothing but good to say about United Towing, a fine old Flagstaff Family Business run by kind, competent professionals who came out to rescue us when a big, national insurance company had completely left us in the lurch. We broke down in the Grand Canyon and United Towing was recommended to us by the Park Ranger. We could not be more satisfied with the service. Prices were reasonable, he was also able to transport our family to Flagstaff drop us off at our hotel and then take the car to a repair shop. Since no taxis or Ubers were available in Tusayan due to Covid, this was a huge blessing. He also made it adventurous for the kids. Thank you for making a horrible situation fun for us! She was friendly, personable, and reassured us not to worry; that they would take care of our "little girl." Within 30 minutes Justin arrived to save the day. He was very careful in loading our daughter's prize possession and our daughter said he could not be any nicer; even gave her a ride to Toyota. I was in need of some Roadside Services and wanted to call around for pricing. When I called AM/PM Towing in Flagstaff, the operator was polite and told me their prices with no problem. I then called United. When I asked what the pricing was, she asked "Do you need a jump start?" I said I was't sure yet, and she replied "Then why are you asking me my price?" I explained I was calling around for pricing so I could get a better deal, she replied "Well then call me when you get a better deal" in a very rude tone. Basically, she refused to tell me the price until after I ordered the service. That's enough for me to never use this company. AM/PM was very friendly, call them instead. read more

We experienced major car failure with our Toyota 4-Runner while on vacation at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. A few frantic calls to various towing companies and in consultation with the Toyota dealership in Flagstaff, we were directed to United. From the first moment on the phone we were made to feel that a bad situation was about to improve as United could get a driver to us when we needed so we could get to Flagstaff in time to have our car repaired. We were grateful to meet Levi Wolfe, the owners son who was so helpful and professional. Great attitude and pleasant throughout a stressful situation. Four hours and two hundred miles later, Levi got our car to the dealership and the experience could not have been better. If our car ever breaks down again in Northern Arizona or Southern Utah, United is the only company I would consider calling. Great family owned business treating people right. read more

My daughter's car broke down in her way home from work on 89A outside of Flagstaff at 8:30pm. It was 14 degrees outside. Our insurance road side assistance contacted United Towing but said their ETA was 90 minutes. I had driven another car and was on the side of the road with my daughter. I had the insurance company relay to the driver that we would be going home and we would wait for his call. He called about 30 minutes later stating he was at our car and then he called us again when he was outside our house. The driver was very pleasant, professional, courteous, and kind. This was our first experience with a tow company and I would definitely recommend United Towing. read more

My brother was driving my mothers vehicle on March 26th and was arrested so her vehicle was towed to United Towing. I called United Towing that day, which was a Sunday. Online it said it was closed but I figured I would give them a call anyway. A man answered and said they were open and that it was a mistake that they were listed as closed on Google. He found my mothers vehicle and said it had a 30 day hold and I needed to call the Department of Public Safety to have the hold taken off and I would have to call Monday since they are closed on the weekend. I called the Department of Public Safety the next day Monday and was told the trooper who stopped my brother would need to call me back. The trooper didn't call me back until Tuesday, I explained what happened and he said there should have never been a hold on the car. He called United Towing and was told by United Towing they had never said this to me. I called United Towing and the Owner Charylle answered, she was so incredibly rude and unprofessional. The first thing that came out of her mouth after I said I was calling in regards to my mothers car is "I need to speak to the registered owner and I would appreciate that you dont tell the trooper that I told you that the car had a 30 day hold". My mouth dropped! I explained that i had never said I had spoken to her, that I had spoken to a man. In which she said that there was no man that worked there, that she is the only one that works there and they arent open on Sunday. I explained that I did speak with a man that I had proof on my phone that someone answered 03/26th at 3:02 pm and spoke to me for 4 minutes. She was so rude that I hung up on her. I eventually had my sister speak with her because I have never been treated this way by anyone. My sister asked who was the man I had spoken with on Sunday and she said "It doesn't matter" in which both my mom and my sister said it did matter because we could have picked up the car on Monday but instead were waiting to get a call from the trooper since we are in Las Vegas, NV and didn't want to drive 3:30 hours to Flagstaff, AZ if we couldn't pick up the car. She refused to give us the mans name. When my mom called her back to make sure they had her car keys she told my mother "you are the only one who could pick up this car, dont bring your daughters because I dont want any drama!" I have never experience this type of service. I did speak to a man and I have proof, she just didn't want to take responsibility and wanted to take the offensive side. They are scammers. When my mother and cousin picked up the car, to no ones surprise there was a man that assisted them. read more

I had a break down and my spouse came to help me get the car going. Unfortunately, my car drained his cars battery so now we had 2 vehicles disabled. I called another company first (AM/PM Towing) who were going to charge us $65 for the tow and $65 for the jump. I was flabbergasted and the woman was so rude. Then I decided to call another company to see if this was common practice in Flagstaff and I found United Towing. Thank goodness the older gentleman that answered was pleasant, helpful and understanding of our predicament. He said that he could be there in 20 min and the tow was $65, I asked him what about the jump for the second vehicle and he said well, how about $25 or maybe nothing at all, let's see when he got there. Sure enough when he arrived he had a portable jumper box and was able to jump our vehicle in minutes. After he loaded the other car for the tow, he handed me the bill for $65 total. I said what about the jump and he said no charge. What great customer service!! I highly recommend United towing for all your towing needs. PS. I did slip him a tip for being such a great guy and being so helpful. It's nice to find that kind of service is still available in Flagstaff. read more
