FYI: Landlords are legally required to maintain safe, accessible parking--they didn't. Instead, they had me towed... walking distance away. Then Flagstaff Towing demanded $300 in cash only, refusing card--which is illegal under AZ law (ARS § 28-4847). The photos they took of my car show the snow hazard. They ignored that and held my car hostage. This is predatory and unlawful. If this happened to you too, file a complaint with the Arizona Attorney General.

In the fast lane, I could only get over in the Median. Cars were FLYING by & it starts to rain. Casey shows up and kindly has us get into his truck, while he loads our truck on his flatbed. He offers suggestions on where to take it (it was after hours for shops/dealer). He takes us & the Truck to Heaths Auto repair, helps us load our stuff into his truck and actually drives us to a hotel. He was so kind and patient and understanding... Our child missed a day of school. The driver Mark was nice and apologetic and very sorry for the damage he caused. We all took pictures. Mark the driver let his boss Dallas know about the damage and sent him pictures. We were all confident that this would be resolved and fixed, or that the company would at least pay for a load of gravel to replace the one they destroyed. Two days passed and we did not hear back from the owner of the company, so we followed up with a phone call. Dallas was immediately extremely rude, talked over my husband and made it clear he wouldn't do anything to make it right. Sadly, there is no decent bone in this man's body.

This is supposed to be a "transmission specialty" shop. I called to get an appointment to have…read morethem take a look at my transmission which seemed to start slipping between 3rd and 4th gears. They set me up with an appointment and when I asked a couple more questions re how quickly they could drop the trans and take a look at it they said, "oh we don't open up transmissions we just replace them ". What?? So what my appointment was apparently intended on their part was to test drive the truck and get a sense of what it is doing and if what it's doing requires actual REPAIR of the trans (you know how their ad says "transmission repair?), your ONLY solution at this business is to get a COMPLETE replacement of your transmission. What they do here is work with the bulk transmission rebuild shops like Jasper, etc who ship them a replacement trans which can be extremely costly, $3k to $4k or more depending on your vehicle - all this place does is remove your current and put a rebuild into it. They admitted they no longer staff ....you know ...TRANSMISSION REPAIR SPECIALISTS, who fix transmissions. Well guess what - there are at least ten or more other auto repair shops all around Flagstaff that do that exact same thing. Don't be fooled thinking you need this place because they have "transmission" in their name or you see "transmission repair" in the ad. They dont. Shop around to every auto shop in town and compare pricing, workmanship, etc. Sadly it seems Flagstaff no longer has a transmission specialist shop that can help repair, build, etc your trans - all you have available are trans replacement shops.
