I brought my 2019 Sorento in for an oil change. I asked to ensure that washer fluid be added. I was assured it would be part of the 10 point inspection. Luckily I looked under the hood before I left. It was not added. Also my regular Kia dealership in WA state gives me a copy of the inspection report. It was not given to me so I requested it. I compared the report from my Kia dealership in Washington state. Oxendale kia showed the brake pads had lots of wear remaining but my report from Washington state showed 5/6. it was explained to me by Oxendale Kia that it depends on how it's measured. I bought a new 2024 Kia Soul at Oxendale Kia in September 2023. They have not registered my vehicle with the State of Arizona . They typed the VIN number incorrectly on the paperwork. It hasn't been registered under the correct nor incorrect number. They have been contacted, in my behalf, but have not answered. My car still hasn't been registered. Bought my 2023 Kia Sportage here, I live in Salt Lake City, UT so quite a process to get there and back but only dealer that had what I was looking for. Paid $300 to have them tint my car windows, less than 30 days later they are bubbling! Called and emailed several times, no one will return my call, do yourself a favor and buy your vehicle elsewhere! UPDATE: After talking to the store manager Larry, he's now saying the tint was few "free" so they can't do anything for their awful work, even though the contract very clearly shows where I paid $300 for the tint... This place is the biggest scam I've ever encountered, the aggression from the store manager telling me to "sue them then" is insane, never experienced anything like it in my life. I'm speaking to you. my name is Ryan Marquart I have been a customer of Oxendale Kia for about 3 years now, we are almost ready for a new car but sadly we will not be customers of any Oxendale auto group establishment any longer, after the way I was treated at Oxendale Kia flagstaff this afternoon. Earlier this week I made a parts purchase in the store, as I was unable to locate the part I needed anywhere else. I was quoted a time frame of 3 days, on the third day I never got a call back, on the 4th day I never got a call back. Instead I called to see if my part had arrived on the 5th day. to which I was surprised that it had and no one called me. Then I remembered this same thing happened with a different part that was never given to me, my spare key. The original sales men who's name has long since been forgotten told me they would track the key down and contact me... no contact was ever made. I decided to ask the parts guy about the key today, mind you it's been 3 years. Parts guy told me I had to inquire with sales. When I walked over to the sales department I was immediately met by salesmen who instantly wanted nothing to do with me (I can only assume because I wasn't there to buy a car) he walked away from me instead. After I walked around the sales floor to see if someone else could help me the man came back and inquired again what I needed. I explained to him that I never received my spare key. His reply was "what do you want me to do about it." At this point I'm upset that as a customer I can't get some decent customer service at this location... EVER! I wrote my name down on his note pad and asked him how hard is it to locate my customer information. He then blew a gasket on me. He became very aggressive... to the customer who is already upset at the entire establishments professionalism. At this point a woman comes out as I'm walking out the door and says "what's the problem?" I replied with "I'm never gonna buy a car here again!" That's when the salesmen aggressively comes after me and gets in my face at the door. I was then yelled at by the woman to leave. When I called the store to speak with mike the GM he accused me of assaulting your employee. This is the worst run dealership in town. You lost a loyal customer today. No amount of apologize will fix this.. I'd suggest you put your entire staff through a customer service course and then hold these people accountable. I have never been so disrespected in my life. I'll be buying my vehicles exclusively at Findlay from now on, in fact I'm gonna go trade this car in right now because I don't even want to be associated with your company any longer. Just to be clear I expect you to do absolutely nothing about this.. since your employees are a direct reflection of your entire auto groups leadership. Bad costumer service I had to get a new ignition cylinder installed and programmed and somewhere in that process one of the workers cut his hand in my vehicle leaving bodily fluids my husband had taken the car back to complain about the situation they argued about fixing the disgusting problem when he had talked with one supervisor the prior day he apologized saying they will do a free detail clean on the vehicle and offer free oil change which wasn't included during the time it was being "cleaned" not only was I missing my rosary and an autographed bandana from a famous singer!! Not sure if it's because it's not a vehicle we had purchased through them but I'm highly disappointed with the hole situation... remove any valuable items before taking it to this place!! read more

Guy had no excitement to hear a customer was interested. Then I got a call from a lady to see if I was interested in a car. I called the salesperson back and she had no idea she called me. No interest. So I was like let's see what she can do. Her talk was like her service. These people won't work hard to help you. They want easy company. I got my car from Earnhardt in Phoenix and they worked with me. They called and gave me a great deal. They asked questions and got me into something great. So I valued that. Absolutely horrendous service from the service department. Kept my husband's car for three weeks when they said repairs would only take a week. Richard in the service department was extremely rude, would not call with updates when asked and we would have to repeatedly call for updates when we were told we would get a call back. We were quoted $300 for repairs and ended up paying $700 when we picked up the car. Pick up also took extremely long. When we were told we could pick up the car on a Saturday morning and when we went to get it, turns out the service department was closed. We will never be taking back his vehicle again. read more

Trust me, you don't want to support this company. A $2300+ lesson. My car was towed into Oxendale Kia after a recall on the engine caused my Optima's engine to completely freeze up while driving. I was told by Oxendale Kia's service department to rent a vehicle through Enterprise and they would take over the payments. I called on multiple occasions to have Kia take over the payments for the car rental and was assured over and over that it was being done. After about 2 months, I called again and this time the manager got on the phone FOR THE FIRST TIME and told me that they would not be covering my car rental because "KIA corporate owes Oxendale KIA a lot of money, like $150K". How is that my problem even if it is true?? How unprofessional?! He told me that they stopped covering car rentals just "a few months ago". My car had been there for "a few months". The service department employee, Casey, who I told me multiple times that they will be taking over payments conveniently "quit" (which i don't believe) the day after I spoke with the manager. I imagine the manager berated him, but it doesn't change the fact that I was told for two months that my car rental would be paid by Oxendale KIA. The manager acted like he agreed with me that it was not fair and said he would ask that I get refunded, but he came back with a no. Then I was told that they would instead be retrieving my money from KIA corporate themselves and that I just needed to wait patiently. This was a stall tactic. When I asked for my case number or a way to check on my reimbursement I was told that they couldn't give me that information. It was obvious to me that this was just another way to make me go away. I will now go through the court system. I have receipts totaling over $2300, that are still accruing interest on my credit card! I do not recommend this place to any. Crooks! I asked repeatedly for them to do the right thing, but frankly, I think they are terrible people. I returned the vehicle as soon as the manager argued with me and the work on my car was still not completed for another 3weeks! How is Oxendale KIA going to take 3 months on a recall and then deny any responsibility? read more

We have our Kia in for a recall problem. The steering was locking up. Turned out that the party had to be sent from Korea which could take months to repair. We called Mr Santos, the general manager, and asked if they would be interested in buying the car. He said he would look into it and would get back to us the next day. Ten days later we call again, spoke to him, reminded him of the previous conversation, said he'd call the following day. We waited, no call. Called again, he was very rude and hung up when he was reminded that he had said he would look into it and never did. Very poor representation for the company. read more

Car is currently in the shop. As of right now id give zero stars if i could. Nothing like spending 50,000 on a kia only to have to replace 4 rotors after they start going out within 20,000 miles. Car has been in the shop for 8 days now. Part is still not in. Kia did nothing to offer support to stinger owners who are all over forums talking about their issues with these rotors after very little miles. Its over a week now and no loaner cars are offered. Something tells me if i bought a 50,000 dollar mercedes id be driving around in a loaner right now, Not canceling vision and health appointments as i look to be going on two weeks of not having a vehicle. While breaking down four hours from home is an awful situation to find oneself in, ending up being towed to Oxendale Kia is a pretty great one! I can't express how great they have been to work with. I called ahead of my arrival and they were ready to receive my car and give me a knowledgeable assessment of what possible problems could be haunting the car--all based on my description. Tyler was very friendly and calming and even made sure I made my shuttle so I could get home! Because the problem with my car is pretty severe, it'll take awhile before it's ready to go. A different auto shop in town gave me a less than pleasing consultation on my Kia, so I decided to get a second opinion before spending any unnecessary money. I am so thankful I did! I brought my Kia here and was greeted by Tyler who was extremely friendly, calming, and great at describing the issues with my car in a way that I could understand. He helped me figure out what needed to be done on my car now, rather than just charging me for unnecessary repairs like the other shop initially wanted to. This review is long overdue! In May, my husband and I were celebrating our 30th anniversary in Sedona. We had driven from San Diego. We couldn't get the gear shift on our 2014 Sedona to move into "park". The AAA guy told us that there was a KIA dealership in Flagstaff so (since we couldn't turn off the car anyways) we drove up there to see what they could do. Tyler, from the service department, came right out. He knew what the problem was right away. The part wasn't in stock, but he looked on the lot to see if there were any used cars with the same part. There weren't, so he showed us how to make it work until we could get back home. He didn't charge us anything and he was so calm and reassuring. Avoid this place. Service Department uses "bait & switch" to overcharge. I called, made an appointment for a 90K service, asked the cost - online searches show ~$300 - was told less than $300. Went to drop off car this morning, they had me down for an oil change and recall. Bottom line, service manager tells me the service will be $800-1000! Why was I quoted so low? "The guy you made the appointment with is new, he didn't know the price". No apology, no offer to discount price, nothing, just bad attitude. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! read more

I will never go to this dealership again! They didn't have a very good selection of preowned vehicles, and kept trying to get us to buy a gas guzzler. They knew we were looking for a smaller vehicle, but nevertheless they kept suggesting we get something bigger and worse on gas. We did actually end up buying a Kia Sportage. When we realized it had no spare tire, jack, or owners manual; they assured us that they would get replacements for us. So, they got us a donut spare which was fine. They have us a hack that was not compatible with our vehicle. After about a month of phone calls and drop-ins on my part, I finally just gave up on a compatible jack and an owners manual. read more

Never again will I buy or have my car serviced there. I took it in on Saturday only to find service closed even though the door had Mon-Sat posted. A lazy salesman sat on the bench munching a sandwich and telling me, "they're closed,". I pointed out the Closed Sunday sign. He kept chewing and said, "that's the way it is." I took my Sorrento in Monday where they told me the battery needed to be replaced. I told them it was under warranty, but they said, "sorry, it isn't - that will be $130." I paid it, called KIA customer service. Yes, it was under warranty. Customer Service called the dealership and demanded they refund my payment. What a cheesy operation. It wasn't so back when I bought a Sportage from them. Never again. Side note - on many of the new cars where the dealer adds 'options' like tint, they have added "Market Adjustment" and upped the price $3000 over MSRP. The staff here is wonderful! They are truly kind and understanding people. Craig is wonderful! He is extremely helpful. I have taken my Kia in twice for repairs and Craig makes me feel like my car is in good hands. He ensures that I understand what is going on with my car. He takes the time to throughly explain the situation so that everything is clear, and there are no opportunities for a misunderstanding. I have no worries dropping off my car here. The quotes for the two repairs I had done at Oxendale Kia were SIGNIFICANTLY lower than the quotes I received in Phoenix. You can tell they hate their job and it shows by the customer service. I've taken my vehicles for service to them for over 5 years and they still can't get my records right. This has to be one of the worst dealerships I've dealt with in a long time. I called because of a craigslist ad they had posted. The ad said to speak with Nick, so that's who I asked for. After speaking with the sales rep over the phone he confirmed that the vehicle posted on the ad was there on the lot "very clean, and ready to go" we drove from east Flagstaff over to the dealership approx 15 minutes to be told by another sales rep, "oh that Jeep, yeah we sold it last week the same day it came in". Then I'm told to wait for Nick who "was with several customers" and would be out to assist shortly. Needless to say I was livid. After attempting to steer us towards other vehicles on the lot we left. I called later that day to speak with the general manager to try and give this dealership a second chance to be directed by his "assistant" that she handles all customer complaints. According to the "assistant" she "knows Nick" and doesn't understand what the miscommunication was. She also couldn't understand why I was so upset because it was "only a 15 minute drive" and "Flagstaff isn't that big". It's clear this company has no interest in customer service and only cares about the money you can bring to the table. To be flat out lied to by a sales rep means they've lost not only my business but the business of my family who has previously purchased 3 cars from the Oxendale dealerships in town. Buyer Beware! I found a car online with a price and wanted to get an "out the door" price before making the trip to the dealership. I was given a price higher than what was advertised online so I questioned it. I was transferred to the mgr Larry who had no idea what I was talking about until I explained what the problem was. I asked why there was a $2K+ diff in pricing between quoted and advertised, and then he went off. He started yelling on the phone at me and said "whats the matter, you aren't going to buy a car because you can't hold my feet to the fire with the advertised price"? He then went on to say he could sell me the car at the advertised price BUT would make me buy all the extras to make up for the price so he wouldn't be losing any money. He was extremely rude and ultimately I hung up on him because I refuse to have someone speak to me that way. Why would someone want to do business with someone like this? I purchased a new car over the Internet at this dealership. I highly recommend Oxendale Kia. Due low inventory because of the chip shortage I was unable to find a replacement in Las Vegas/Henderson area for a new Kia Forte GT that had been totaled by a rear-end collision. I expanded my search out of state, and after calling multiple dealers (most of which would not follow through, and/or that had their cars actually priced over what was advertised), I found this dealership. The person that answered the phone (Favio Begharineh) verified they had the vehicle on the lot that I was looking for and he personally completed the transaction for me extremely fast. I was not handed off to a "finance associate" for the credit check and paperwork, he did it himself. He did not try to upsell the contract. What was on the Internet was what I paid, and it was the lowest price I found anywhere. Favio handled the transaction from start to finish himself. This was the smoothest and fastest car buying transaction I have ever had and I have purchased over two dozen vehicles in the past. Additionally, I was prepared to have the vehicle shipped to me and had multiple transport companies bidding the job. Favio said he would bring the vehicle to me himself at no charge and I would have it the next day, as it was already early evening. I have my new vehicle and I cannot leave enough praise for the dealership and salesperson! read more

I went to Oxendale Kia in Flagstaff a couple weeks ago with the intent of buying a new car that day. When I got there no one came outside to help me. I ended up going inside to ask for help. It took ten minutes for them to find the keys. Once we went back outside the car was opened for me, but I was not even given an opportunity to test drive the car (even though I asked). The most help I got was a book on the car after I wasn't allowed to test drive. I ended up getting a Subaru two weeks later and couldn't be happier to not give my money to Tony. read more

While beginning the drive back from Phoenix to Pittsburgh our Optima's engine blew and ended up being towed back from Holbrook Az to Flagstaff. Engine was replaced under warranty and ended up being trucked back to Pa. Craig and Tyler were awesome assisting us in the logistics of getting a rental car, having our car delivered once fixed and putting us in contact with the Kia departments to resolve other matters. This ended up being a 2+ month matter. We can't say enough good things on how Craig and Tyler from Oxendale Kia handled our matter and help relieve some of the stress associated with getting home and getting our car back. These guys are top notch!! Can't say the same with the Jim Shorkey Kia here in Wexford, Pa. they were useless from the beginning and the same held true when I picked up the car today from Shorkey dealership. When I asked for the associated paperwork from the engine repair they looked at me like I had 2 heads and as if I was putting them out. one of the worst rudest dealerships and sales people i have ever met. i didn't take . the salesman's name. upon entering oxendale kia in flagstaff, az last friday 11/13/15 a salesman yelled out to come sit down at his desk while on the phone. after getting prices of what sportage we were interested in, i mentioned the prices quoted are a bit high compared to other dealers shopped. i asked for a print out of what was quoted with options and was told to go on the web and i can get it myself. maybe because the salesman was too dumb to do it. salesman also states in flagstaff we deal with college students and native americans. this is a discriminatory comment and nobody's ethnic group should ever be brought up during a purchase. i called the dealership and asked for the mgr. on duty. i spoke to larry who was apologetic on the phone however his tone was obvious he could care less. read more

After a two thousand mile road trip I can safely say that we would highly recommend the vehicle. It was comfortable and we got even better mileage than posted. When we bought the vehicle we worked with Jeremy and Shawn. They were both very friendly and easy to work with. We got good service and a great price and a fair trade in on our old vehicle. I have seen some disgruntled reviews on this site and others and I couldn't disagree more.
