His crew obviously knew what they were doing and they completed the job in two days. He had to charge extra because 27 sheathing panels had to be replaced because of delamination of the CDExt. We hired Amity to replace a deck that was pretty much falling apart. Joe rightly told us that the understructure (joists) were not going to hold new deck boards, and he was right. Whomever built the original made a mess of things, so a complete tear-away was needed. This necessarily involved the town building inspector, who was a real stickler for detail. Joe worked with him throughout the job to both satisfy the building codes and our desire for the finished product. Joe was "on the job" every day and his crew was certainly among the most efficient I've ever seen on a big job.
