If I could give 0 stars, I would. I'm beyond livid with this company. They literally told me today on the phone "once we pick your stuff up we have no responsibility to help." That's what they told me. They don't care about you or when you get your stuff. I called on June 29th to book a move for the end of July. The booking agent did not mention at all that people who had been picked up in the months before me STILL hadn't received their items. Had they told me that, I would have gladly packed up and moved my things myself. However, they don't care about anything other than making money, and apparently don't care if you leave them bad reviews, so they didn't mention that part. I was told they would give me 48 hours notice before my move date. I told them 30/31st of July would work, meaning I assumed by the 28th I would hear from them if they were going to be there on the 30th. However, the 28th came and went with no contact, so I made personal plans for the 29th and 30th, and assumed they'd be there on the 31st. On the 29th, they called me and said they'd be picking my stuff up in a few hours. I was beyond pissed. I had no way of moving that quickly, considering I'd paid the packing service. So, I told them to come back on the 31st. When the 31st came around, there was zero contact from the movers. I had no idea where they were, or when they'd arrive. No call saying "we'll be there in 4-6 hours." NOTHING. They just randomly showed up and started packing. When I finally got the move completed, I packed my car with my belongings I needed, and was on my way the next morning. At no point had anyone indicated to me that my stuff wouldn't be arriving in a timely fashion. In fact, those who picked it up seemed to think they would be there by the 2nd of August, when I arrived! The 2nd came and went, no call. I called in the next day and was told "it might be 10-15 days." Wow. Thanks. I would have gladly changed my plans if I had known this! In the time since the 3rd of August to today (20 days), I've received 0 calls from anyone. I've had to call their customer service department and get the run around with virtually no assurance of when my stuff would arrive. They can't even tell me WHERE my things are. At this point in time, I'm going completely insane and I'm determined to make sure every review site people might read about their service are aware at how awful this experience has been. I am aware that COVID and a shortage of drivers is going to make this a slower process than usual. But to have NO CLUE where my things are, when they'll arrive (not even a "maybe between the 1st and 10th of September," NOTHING!) is ridiculous. It costs like $20 to slap a GPS unit on my things. If you choose to use this company, beware that they're awful. And to whoever reads these reviews and comes back with "we don't have you as a customer," THE MOVE WAS NOT BOOKED UNDER MY NAME. It's listed under my COO's name and I'd be glad to provide that to you, even though I know already that "there's nothing you can do for me." read more

Wanted to give a shout-out to United Nationwide for making this move one less thing I have to worry about when moving 2000 miles across the country. I used United to move our family from AZ to FL. The whole process was smooth, from the initial quote I knew I was dealing with someone honest because of their attention to detail. Most of the other movers I got a quote from were very insistent on getting me to reserve on the spot. This company did a virtual estimate via FaceTime to make sure everything was in writing. I attached some photos so you can see how great their attention to detail was when wrapping, packing and loading the truck. The extra packing services were not cheap, but in the end we didn't have to lift a finger and nothing was damaged. Worth every penny. Hard to find a good ol fashion mover like this nowadays. I used United nationwide to move from Miami to Mexico. not only did I have 0 problems moving to a different country, I had such ease moving with United that I forgot I had anything to move. They were so responsive and had such courtesy that I would've trusted them with much more than what was in my house. Sega was so responsive and sweet, I couldn't have asked for anyone better. Worst move of my life. I honestly believe we have been scammed. How can a reputable company be off on an estimate by 50% (even with a video walk through), or time in transit can be misquoted by 3+ weeks, or subcontractors can be given a completely different contract than the one we agreed to? And my support person at United has totally dodged our calls & emails, then claimed he didn't get any of them even though he talked to my husband directly & promised to get it resolved. Two & a half weeks after our move, our stuff still sits in a warehouse across the country when it should have been delivered already, & now I'm told I had to pay for "expedited" service to have it delivered before 30 days. I will never use this company in the future or suggest family/friends to use this company. My move to Utah was cancelled last minute and I lost my $1,000 deposit! This company agreed to move me locally, at the deposit price (nothing extra.) My new location was the same apartment complex, just a different apartment, so not even 400ft in distance. When the movers came to move me, they informed me that I owed $3,000!!! I called the representative, i was talking to, and on the phone she had the nerve to tell me her movers didn't work for free.....Free?! You have $1,000 of my money..... who did that go to?! WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY!!! United Nationwide Movers does not abide by the Service Agreement and will take your money without completing services. From the beginning they have lied about not being a broker, being committed to service, and will not work with the moving services they contract out to get your money back. Before I share my experience, please make sure you read all the one star reviews as those are real reviews with similar experiences. You'll notice the fake 5 star reviews were inputted immediately one after the other and if you look at the history of the person making reviews, they either do not have one or they're providing reviews from random locations across the country as a paid reviewer. You should also know that BBB and other review sites work with businesses and will not post certain reviews for a fee. That is how terrible, scamming businesses get away with not telling the truth in an attempt to salvage the reputation of their company. In my decades of moving through the military and other businesses I have never come across such a terrible, scamming moving company. First of all, they are a broker no matter what they tell you from the initial quote. They will also keep calling you and match whatever price you get from another company later to contract multiple companies to take care of your household goods. Don't buy the whole USMPO Service Agreement pitch because they will not abide by the Service Agreement. Also if they're still using the names John Moore and Daniel Adams know that's likely not their real names. Their emails went dead after trying to resolve my violations of contract. After I paid the "Service Agreement" amount that supposedly would not change, I was told I had to pay additional when I had a walkthrough. That was understandable, but then when the movers came to my house on the day of agreement they said I had to pay another $1200+ or they will not pack my stuff up. Of course everything is riding on getting my household goods packed so what choice did I have but to pay it. Once it was packed looking into the truck they left so many open spaces and gaps I knew I was scammed for paying extra cubic feet of air. At destination with all of my household goods in the truck, another separate company told me they will not unpack my items unless I pay hundreds more because my one free flight of steps per contract does not come free anymore because there are more than 12 steps (there are 15 and it does not stipulate the number of steps). Of course I had to pay it otherwise they would hold my household goods hostage. Once unpacking they refused to reassemble some of the furniture as contracted by the "Service Agreement" and did not move all boxes to the designated areas. To make matters worse two of the movers got into a fight and the police were called to my house. Later to find out the mover that was hired on Craigslist has a criminal history with mental health issues. Keep in mind at the initial quote I was also told they do background checks on all their movers. At the end of this nightmare I attempted to call United Nationwide Movers to let them know they did not abide by the "Service Agreement" and asked for resolution. They of course took no accountability and provided no resolve. I filed a complaint with BBB and they did not post the complaint and said "We understand you are NOT satisfied with the business's response, and have noted your dissatisfaction in our files. While we were unable to reach your desired resolution, the business has provided your Better Business Bureau (BBB) with its position. This matter is now closed in BBB files, and will appear in the company's BBB Business Profile as: "Answered - the business addressed the issues within the complaint, but the consumer remains dissatisfied." I also contacted the USMPO and have yet to hear anything back from them. Save yourself thousands of dollars lost in failure to complete services and the headache of going through this company. Find a reputable company that will not lie, cheat, or steal from you. They will tell you whatever you want to hear, and know they will not abide by any contract... nor refund you any of your hard earned money that you thought you were paying on good faith. This is the most scandalous company I have ever dealt with and I hope you and your family never have to deal with what many families have already dealt with... what we believe to be the WORST moving company in the entire United States. read more

CONSUMER BEWARE! We scheduled this company to move us from Illinois to Tennessee a month in advance and paid $2,700 dollars to "secure the date". This company "brokered out" the job to "Global Moving, LLC". The company NEVER SHOWED! They kept putting us off on our scheduled dates using one excuse after another. Do not call them if you want a reliable moving company! We ended having to pack our 3 story home and move out on our own using family and friends! A total NIGHTMARE!
