When my dentist told me I needed a root canal, I thought,YEAH -- This pain will go away! That was because of my previous experiences with Boston Endodontics that were very positive ones. The office personnel and his nurse are so friendly and helpful that I got an appointment within two days in the Lynnfield office With Dr. Timothy Gabe. I am going to describe Dr.Gabe by using the letters in his surname as adjectives for my treatment. "G"= Great personality and generous. A very nice man near the waiting room area, who I did not even know was Dr. Gabe, loaned me his special reading glasses to fill out the office forms because I had left mine at home. I noticed that when I gave them back to him, he discreetly sanitized them and put them around his neck. "A"= amiable, affable, and astute. He carefully took another x-ray of the tooth and thoroughly explained everything that he was going to do. He told me in a friendly way that the Novocaine shots would taste like a Pina Colada, and he was absolutely right to the point where I pretended I was relaxing in a lounge chair at an ocean resort!! "B"= Benevolence was shown to me when he generously loaned me his reading glasses, and by reading his biography, I think he is a brilliant doctor who keeps up-to-date with all of our modern technology and innovations In Endodontics. The staff is absolutely amazing. They're all very sweet and understanding of your concerns. Everyone will go out of their way to calmly explain to you everything, from the procedures to even helping ease your anxiety and concerns. I only had a cleaning to day (and a very deep one as I hadn't been to the dentist in a long time) and I can confidently say that, even though it was a rough cleaning, I enjoyed it! It sounds weird but it's true! The hot rocks, lavender sheet, and warm pillow really helped comfort me and the music in the background was very relaxing. I really enjoyed my experience here and I never thought I could ever say that about a dentist's office. There is a long waiting list but if you're perseverant and positive, you can get in ahead of schedule! My appointment was supposed to be a year from now but I saw the email they usually send when there's an open spot and quickly replied to their message with my information, which I had typed down on a note in my phone so I could copy paste it quickly on their email message. If you don't do that, odds are someone else will get the appointment. The last time I tried, the appointment was filled within two minutes of having received the email.
