I went to another dentist, and he was able to remedy the situation for a fraction of that cost and with a much less invasive procedure. The last straw was my interaction with the periodontist. He "consulted" with me by literally not looking in my mouth and uttering 2 sentences. Then he seemed angry that I didn't consent to have my tooth extracted during that "consultation." It's been several years now, and I still have the tooth. It didn't need to be extracted. Take from that what you will.

Not only did the hygienist share heartwarming anecdotes about her personal life, but she also showed me how to floss correctly (I've been flossing incorrectly for years and nobody explained it to me so coherently) and showed me the water floss I should buy to ameliorate my concerns about mold accumulating in the water tank. I hate…read moreneedles, and I cringe when someone touches my gums (like floss at the end of a cleaning) I had a pretty poor previous dentist that did a few fillings that were not needed. I was avoiding finding a new place because the process sucks. I had no choice because I had a filling pop up (yes I crunched on it , ate it, disgusting) and was in pretty bad pain beginning a Friday night. I called them first thing Saturday morning and explained my situation and that it was hurting so I definitely will need it looked at quickly (mind you wasn't even a patient yet). They took me first thing Monday morning. It couldn't have been an easier situation, no questions, my records hadn't come in yet, they did the work I needed quickly to get me out of pain. They were so welcoming and calm and were able to schedule my next cleaning right away too. This is the real deal. Hard to find a good place these days- give this place a shot. You won't regret it!!!
