Recently went there and was amazed by the quality of chicken in the chicken chow mein. Hands down the best chicken I've had at a Chinese restaurant. Cant wait to try other items. The owners kids there are so adorable and very friendly, they don't crawl all over you, but are very sweet and friendly. Service was prompt as well. read more

And the family that owned it used to have their teenagers running it as well get them know and acquainted with the family business you know? I was completely unaware when I sat in here a couple nights ago that there were new owners. And my goodness, were their children all over the place. Stopped in for lunch after not been there for almost a year. Found out they are under new owners. Very pleasant and eager to please - I found myself smiling the entire time I waited for food. Portion size was excellent, more than I could eat for lunch and everything tasted great. Definitely going to make this my new regular stop for Asian food in Ware. I did not realize that the restaurant had changed owners, had not been there for a while. Ordered my favorite egg foo young. Worse rendition of that meal I have ever had. There was a very young boy in the restaurant, (apparently a babysitter is not available if you own a business??) or at a minimum try to control your child. He was annoying and trying to interact with me and I was not interested! Could not wait to get out of there and I will not be going back. A one is a generous rating. The teriyaki steak was so tough it was inedible. Also there was NO teriyaki flavor. It was disgusting!! I can't understand why they would serve this to any customer. Obviously, they don't care and just want your $$$. When I called to complain, I was told it was my fault because I took too long to pick up my order. I was yelled at and offered nothing to make it right. They said no refunds and no comps. I insisted on a refund for the teriyaki and brought it back ......they subtracted $2.05 for the one bite I took out of one teriyaki. They only refunded me $8.20, not the full price of $10.25. What a awful experience for a simple order of teriyaki beef and vegetable fried rice. Ridiculous and horrible food. read more

since the new owners took over, the food quality fell to the floor. fried rice was bland, tidbit platter was definitely lacking. boneless ribs were NOT good. not sure what kind of sauce they are using, but it tasted greasy. and the amount of rib bits was much less than before. the main course, chicken with garlic sauce was also lacking in taste. and if you have to sit there waiting for your order, you get bombarded with the owners 3 kids (under the age of 5) who run around and dont leave you alone. I remember better days for this establishment. The food was so good at one time. I wish I could say nicer things about it now. The good: The staff is always nice, always courteous and very prompt with refills and the like. The bad: The food tastes and looks like its been there for hours. I don't know what the logic is for refilling food; it doesn't just happen when the item is empty. The table felt very sticky. The sugar shaker (although it was not something we needed) was just dirty looking. The food that they brought out fresh WAS good (like the lo mein) but the fresh stuff was few and far between. We were also the only ones there which was probably an indication of the downward spiral the place has taken. So not worth the almost $40 it cost for 3 adults and only 2 soft drinks. Excellent, attentive service. Pretty good food. I go here every time I visit Ware. Server was incredibly nice. She was very responsive about my food allergy and put me right at ease. This place is a good option if you are a vegetarian- possibly the best option in Ware. The General Tso's tofu was delicious! read more

If getting most of your calories from grease is acceptable to you then you'll be fine with this average traditional greasy type Chinese food. After a few meals, I can say they are OK, I've had much better and would rather wait for better too. I also didn't appreciate the children of the owners working in the restaurant, just seems odd to me. The owner is very very friendly and accomodating but I need more to keep me going back. read more

i ate there last night and I got bad food I have food poisoning now I am so sick and the person who answered the phone and I told them that the food was bad and tasted awful and the shrimp smelled bad . this place needs to have the board of health go there and check out there food and restaurant. it's terrible ....... I will NOT BE GOING BACK THERE ANYMORE. I recently visited for lunch. The dining area was neat, but the tables could have used a better scrubbing. When I arrived, the buffet was just being laid out, so I had to wait for a few minutes. The fare was quite the Chinese buffet standard on steam tables, not awful. I suppose for Ware, it would be considered very good. What impressed me was the staff. It was a family affair, and they were all solicitous about the food and service. They were so friendly, especially the young daughter who was my server. read more

I love this place! If you go in for the buffet and you feel it isn't fresh just ask and they will make you fresh food. SPARE RIBS! Their spare ribs are the best! I went to my friends in Gardner and they were getting chinese for us, I brought the ribs because I love theirs so much! For takeout I always get the economy plates...there is so much food and if there is more than one person you can order 2 different plates and get everything you want for a good price! The kids are cute, the food is awesome and affordable...I give this place 5 stars! read more

Not a great place. Dark and very hot inside. The wife husband team of chef and waitress are kind of rude. The food is not great the buffet in the afternoon. It is partially empty and looks dried out. Week day afternoons they have their young children buss the tables, making you feel so bad that you give them bigger tips. United China.....should be...U Fighted China I write this from the perspective of a very dissatisfied customer. So if this review comes off a little edgy please excuse me. Simply put, United China is Ware's "worst kept secret." I too do not understand some of these reviews. This is coming from someone who has eaten Chinese food all across North America, Canada, and in Europe. Yes I know it is a buffet and I have eaten many of those as well and understand that the quality is not always the same as take out. Anyhow, I write this from my surface while sitting on the toilet because I ate here 2 hours ago and cannot stop pooping. Now I am suffering from some pretty violent sprays and my bathroom sounds like a Bejing traffic jam. No janitor, no toilet, no human being, except the owners of U Fighted China Ware's worst kept secret deserve what is happening in here right now. Now on to my experience. When we arrived we were immediately sat. I went up for some "Hot and Sour" and a couple of appetizers. I chose the chicken fingers and the eggrolls I could only eat 1/2 the soup because it tasted old and like some refrigerator burn flavor I could not identify (I think because it was left uncovered for days in their refrigerator.). I ate 2 out of 5 chicken fingers because they were soggy on the outside and the chicken was hardened and the breast was a crusty hard yellow not tender like a breast should be. These chicken fingers clearly were not fresh. Then I bit into the eggroll and it was like rubber filled with dirty old cabbage (I am serious). So, I left this on my plate and went for round 2 a main course. Upon my return one of the owners children came to the table with her mother in tow. I was asked if everything was ok. I said that I did not like the taste of the food. The child translated through her mother who took offense and began yelling. The child continued to translate through her mother. I felt bad for the child and seriously felt like this was a gross overreaction. So, I remained calm and proceeded to tell the young girl what was wrong with the food. The mother, instead of apologizing, reprimanded me for "TAKING TOO MUCH" and she insisted that "EVERYTHING WAS COOKED FRESH TODAY." Once again I remained calm and agreed to disagree. Round 2 consisted of lo mein, fried rice, and mushrooms because I did not want the meat. The mushrooms were good. The fried rice was crunchy. I then examined the pork and it too was crunchy. I made the executive decision to not eat the remainder of the food and was willing to accept the possibility of being Yelled At again through a child via her mother for not making a clean plate. Sure enough, it happened. Not only did she come out but her husband came out to yell at me too. At times I felt like I was dealing with a child. So I resigned myself to the fact that this guy must be seriously mentally ill along with the mother. I know it sounds bad but you had to be there to believe it. Folks save your money and money and go there at your own risk. I am sure I am just one of many that have experienced this kind of service. Most will not complain about it. Most will however tell everyone they know. That is exactly what we plan to do. On a side note I do not believe the young boy they have working there is over 14 years of age. The girl I am on the fence over. Aside from having their work there , I suspect, illegally (http://www.mass.gov/lwd/labor-standards/dls/youth-employment/summary-of-massachusetts-laws-regulating.html) they use them to translate their rage towards their customers because they barely speak English. While suffice it to say I will not be returning to U Fighted Chinese Buffet. Sadly, I believe it is only a matter of time before someone goes off on them because of how rude they are. Ordered Won Ton Soup. It was disgusting!! The won tons were very thick and rubbery. Very disappointing. How is this place still open??

We were visiting family over the holidays and had lunch here after shopping. We wound upeating here two more times in the course of a week. Although the food is standard chinese buffet items, they are all prepared almost to perfection. In particular, the dumplings were prepared home-style, and reminded me the one's that my Chinese mother made, same ingredients, big and steamed, not fried. The service, which was provided by the owners' ten year old (!) daughter was surprising good, she was attentitive, and conversed better than some adult wait staff. Ordered take tonight as our regular go to Chinese restaurant is closed on Mondays. We ordered the standard crab rangoons and fried shrimp.We also ordered a container of spicy mustard. So what could go wrong, right? I mean these are two of the basics that every Chinese restaurant serves and generally they are pretty much the same everywhere with a little variation from place to place. Well, these had to be the grossest items ever. First the crab rangoons instead of the usual plump appearance, these were very thin. Almost no filling.Which I guess was a good thing because whatever they filled it with was the strangest tasting goo we've ever had the displeasure of eating. Cannot figure out what it was but it has almost a sickening sweetish taste unlike any rangoon we've ever had before. Just disgustingly awful. The shrimp had the distinct appearance of a frozen product. It was not the usual battered type but was more of a breaded coating. Definitely not fresh made, each were too uniform in appearance, just like something you'd pull out of a bag. The taste wasn't as off putting as the rangoons, but not something we'd eat again. Oh and the spicy mustard? Well there wasn't any. Instead they put two large containers and two small containers of sweet and sour sauce. Seriously, no duck sauce, no spicy mustard, just a ridiculous amount of sweet and sour sauce. Who has sweet and sour sauce with fried shrimp and crab rangoons? If you like your money don't waste it here, there are better options in Ware, stay away from this craptastic excuse of a restaurant. We will never ever go there again. Ever. read more
