Looking for replacements quickly to enable us to cut down seriously overgrown acreage, we went to the dealer from whom we bought the mower, Goff. They reluctantly located two tires and said it would be 2-3 days before they could repair and get them back to us. Crazy. We then went to Ruwest. They took a genuine interest in out little problem, and suggested we go to Toce Brothers down the street where, they said, they send all of their tire work. Their suggestion was excellent, we did so, and we got our new tires all set within an hour. Good folks, in our view. We'll recommend them highly for anyone looking for farm machinery and equipment and servicing in this area.

My mower broke while I was mowing on a Saturday late afternoon so I called Monday morning when they opened and asked if they could pick it up and fix it I also asked if it was still under warranty they said it was one day over on the warranty. I said wow that sucks and asked them to let me know the price before they fix it. I got a call a few days later and they said the motor was blown and it was 5 or 6 thousand if my memory serves me correctly. I said wow then they told me they were able to replace it under warranty! I was so happy! They brought it back a few days later and it has run like new for the last 3 years. Thank you Taplin!

Bought an Ariens platinum snowblower in October 2022, used only few times over the past winters,…read morethis year 2025 started it for the first snow, made 3-4 passes on the driveway and there was a loud noise and it stopped working, unable to start it back up. Called Taplin, they were able to pick it up the next day. Eric called after checking it out and the said the motor was blown. Of course was 2 months out of warranty, he said would call Ariens and see what he could do. Because of Eric's perseverance they replaced the motor, at no charge to us. Our heartfelt thanks to Eric, and to kudos to Taplin for having such a dedicated person on their staff.

Horrible Service. We purchased a new mower from Jack Miller…read morefor over $5000 about 5 years ago. It needed some repairs in Aug. '18, called up to see if and when we could bring it in for repairs. JMemployees told us to bring it right in and it would probably take a couple of weeks. Called in Sept. and was spoken to abruptly, called 2 weeks later, again same thing. Called in Oct. and was told they would call us. April 2019 still no call!!!! So, again we make another call....AND we are told.. "oh, I guess we should bring it in for repairs." So, does this mean that for all this time, JMemployees didn't bother to even look at our mower. Called beginning of May, and was told Monday, then Monday, was told Friday, then Friday was told ... and on and on. FINALLY, May 16th we were able to pick it up! Our $500 repair ended up being over $1400. And to add more salt to the wounds, NO JMemployee helped us(which was just our son) load the mower from the back of the yard, where it was blocked by several snowplows. And if JMemployees had put even just a drop of gas in the mower, maybe this would have been an easier task. When we were finally able to mow the deck fell off and the gas tank was not replaced, as we had thought, it was just a terrible caulking job. VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Even though I purchased my mower there and they have all the info for that equipment, they always insist on Model # and Serial # which is stored in their computer under my purchase order. No such thing as emergency repairs. If you have to wait for weeks their attitude is, "Not my problem." There are plenty of Ariens dealers around and I would suggest you try them first before dealing with this store.
