When I came in, looking for some advice on my car (after a harsh winter) the guys at the register literally jumped in their seats and gave me some flyers and some business cards that they had on hand at the desk. Really good customer service! This store needs a better sign out front or a better neon sign that advertises that its inside this mall. A quick walk down the isles, showed that this Advance Auto had all the stock and materials and parts and appurtenances that come with a usually very great Advance Auto Parts experience, coast to coast. I was having trouble with my radio constantly losing the presets in my 5 yr old car, and thought I…read moreneeded a new battery. More in important, I was planning a big trip and did not want to get stuck with a bad battery. Husband suggested going to have it checked out at O'reilly's as they offered a free test. They couldn't have been nicer. Not only did they provide quick and efficient service, removed the battery and found out it needed a recharge boost. They provided that service while I waited (took about 1 hr from initial walk in). Reinstalled the battery - I set some radio staitons and the radio presets now remained. As i took out my wallet to pay for the 'charge', the manager informed me that there was no charge for their courtesy service. Battery testing and the boost is something they provide as a free service to their customers. I was quite surprised and will happily return there for other service or parts in the future. The folks at the Fairview Ave. store were great and eager to help. Nice to have a shop like that in my neighborhood.

(Not this one) employee went to typing then confirmed the name of the part I brought in, to then tell me they aren't familiar with it. Even if they aren't familiar with it, it would be ever so helpful to know if autozone has it even if it isn't on hand in the back at that time. They have a well-stocked, well-organized inventory, and I'm glad that brand assistance can be done scanning QR codes these days. Checkout was fine. I didn't require assistance while I was there, but I did see one of the staff putting new wiper blades on some other customer's car when I pulled in, so there's that. I'm not sure if the prices are standard versus competitive, but for me, the location is very convenient.
