Rats nest of wiring connections from the transfer seat, harnesses and wires melted
    Arthur M.

I had a very unpleasant experience with this company. I spent $14,000 for hand controls, power transfer seat, push button ebrake and turn signal redirect to be installed in my sprinter, and a few weeks after picking it up, the driver side seat airbag deployed, caused by a short circuit in the wiring in the power transfer seat. They refused to admit fault, even after I took it to Mercedes dealer to have everything looked at and it was confirmed that the wiring was totally botched. Luckily I was not driving when the airbag deployed, it could have been so much worse. After numerous phone calls, visits back and forth from Mercedes to their shop in Stanton, they maintained they were not at fault, and still do apparently. They never apologized, treated my wife and I like we did not matter, and finally after contacting their parent company BraunAbility, they paid to have the airbag replaced and wiring to be replaced by Mercedes, but still never heard from them, no apology. Terrible customer service. Terrible workmanship. Do not have them work on your vehicle. There's a lot more to this story but this is the meat of it.

Let me start by saying I have been in the customer service industry for over 20 yrs. This office has an amazing staff that listens to your needs and truly cares about their clients. Robert and Jose was so knowledgeable and respectful they have earned this review in spades! Robert taught me a lot about mobility vans (my first one). I held out on telling him I was really only shopping until late in our meeting. His demeanor never changed and he even gave advice for when I was ready on what type of financing I might expect. I told him how my Vietnamese family dynamic was one that everyone was very opinionated involving major purchases and he brought a vehicle to my house so they all could experience a demonstration -- keep in mind I made no promise of a sale to him. He really left an impression on me. MONTHS later, I went straight back to Ability Center to see what was in stock. Jose made the whole experience so easy for me, even driving the vehicle (from San Diego!) to my house and work so both my family and I could examine it. He was in communication with me during the whole process to ensure everything went without a hitch. My availability is very limited and I was able to finish everything through e-mail and one final visit. I waited almost 2 months to post this review just in case any problems came up after we got the minivan so I feel very confident with my purchase and decision to give Robert and Jose my 5-Star review. I am so confident that Ability Center gives this level of service every time. So whether this is your first mobility product or you are looking for another vendor make this location a priority to visit. They will do everything in their ability to give you peace of mind and value to your purchase. Kenny H.

I was the one communicating with the owner, Doug, during the visit and he even texted me the receipt directly while I was standing there in the store. Within a day or two, around February 12th, we decided to cancel the order. From that point forward we spent weeks calling and trying to get a refund. On March 12th I texted Doug again regarding the refund. Screenshots of that conversation are included with this review. In those messages he discussed giving a partial refund and repeatedly asked that we remove the review. On Friday March 13th I personally went back to the store and picked up cash from Doug in the amount of $2,355. Even then the full amount was not refunded despite the order being cancelled almost immediately after the purchase. After I posted my original review about the experience, Doug began calling and texting me asking that I delete it. I have included screenshots of those communications so people can see exactly what was said. Doug also replied publicly to my previous review claiming that I was not a customer of the business. That is not accurate. I was present in the store during the purchase, communicated directly with Doug, received the receipt from him by text, and I was the one who returned to the store to collect the refund. I have also included screenshots of the original review that was removed. People rely on reviews when making important decisions, especially when purchasing medical equipment. Because of how this situation was handled and the communication afterward asking that the review be removed, I believe it is important to share my experience so others can make informed decisions. All of the statements in this review reflect my direct experience with this business and the communication I personally had with the owner. Supporting screenshots have been included for transparency.

After serious consideration, I cancelled my original purchase from their competitor and I started my search again and found Aero Mobility, Placed a call on 1/3/26 and spoke to Mr. Dale Hight and we discussed a van which I had found on Aero Mobility website, Dale was very helpful and upfront with me regarding the condition for the van (I live 107 miles away) and couldn't make it there before the Close of Business. Dale made my online purchase very easy and effortless. On 1/7/26, I received a call informing me that the van was being delivered that afternoon and for a 2008 vehicle, the car was in immaculate condition. I highly recommend Dale Hight and Aero Mobility for your adaptive vehicle needs.

Switch to ALIGMENT and here comes AERO MOBILITY, no huge bills just we are waiting for the claim to be acted upon an no we would never send you a huge bill, the first one I got $130 for the ventilator and oxygen generator.
