Before…read morefinding Emily and Lua at Copa, I was still taking the 2, almost 3, hr round trip drive to north jersey because of not getting the right service nor having my hair look even close to what I was asking for after trying multiple places and encountering many hairdressers. Copa's environment is so friendly, warm and welcoming. Emily always gets the color I want and and always doubles checks with me to make sure I'm loving it. Everyone there is awesome and I always recommend them to family and friends. I love the diversity of talents that Copa provides and I always feel comfortable and relaxed there. My 5 year old also loves when Emily does her hair and trusts her, which is tough to gain. No more 2-3 hour trips to north jersey just for a hair appointment! Thank you Lua and Emily!

This is a small, conveniently located salon in downtown Princeton. I work nearby and used to get…read morehaircuts with Nicole, who's excellent at what she does: professional, consistent, and easy to talk to. For a while, it was my go-to spot. Unfortunately, I stopped going after a negative experience with one of the front desk staff (a male receptionist). I had to reschedule a same-day appointment, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. I understand that salons try to avoid last-minute changes, especially when schedules are tight. That said, Nicole had plenty of open slots that day, so it didn't seem like a major issue. What really made me decide to stop coming back wasn't the rescheduling policy - it was his attitude. Rude, condescending, and unnecessarily passive aggressive, especially considering this was the first time I'd rescheduled in years. The tone and way it was handled felt unprofessional and left a bad impression. Since then, I've been going to Cosmo Blue, just a few blocks away, and the experience has been better. Friendly staff, professional service, and no attitude. A colleague of mine recently mentioned having a similarly unpleasant interaction with the same receptionist (different issue, same bad attitude), which prompted me to finally write this review. It's a shame, because Nicole does great work, but the front desk experience matters too.
