When I called them this morning, I spoke to Molly, who was so helpful and so professional. I picked out an arrangement I saw online, and I explained to her how I wanted to customize it. She made thoughtful suggestions for the arrangement. The best part about it was she really took her time to explain to me what the final product would look like. The owner Janet called me later to check in and to give me information about some final changes. She also sent me photographs of the arrangement. I have to say the photos of the flowers she sent to my friend were unbelievable. My friend called me and she was so happy with what she received. What an awesome experience! In March 2025, Urban Flora will e-mail the purchaser that it has 'shipped' once it's about to be delivered and will e-mail the purchaser once delivered. It would also be my first choice for my man -- if only they delivered to his city which they do not -- might have to do a pick-up one of these days. I would not recommend Urban Flora for last minute custom for like a Condolence arrangement - I did reach out in 2023 but was not able to get a hold of them at the time. Otherwise whether you order the day prior (within a reasonable window frame - they can get the job done, orders prior to noon would be best for those situations -- and the more time you give in advance, the better the delivery experience and outcome. 1/5 stars -- Completely different arrangement and disappointing customer service…read more I paid $285.10 total expecting the elegant, soft-toned Premium arrangement shown on their website. What was delivered looked substantially different and was dominated by 10 bright pink tulips, completely changing the overall color balance and aesthetic of the design I selected. When I contacted the florist, Neli explained that tulips were present in the back of the original design. A few tulip buds are barely visible in the background of the website photo, but they are clearly not a dominant feature. In the delivered arrangement, they became one of the main visual elements. Instead of addressing the design mismatch, I received an itemized explanation of how expensive the flowers were and was told they "cannot afford to refund orders." Their own substitution policy says the style and theme will be preserved. In my experience, they were not. I'm attaching the website photo and the delivered arrangement so customers can judge for themselves. If you expect the arrangement you choose online to reasonably resemble what is delivered, I would look elsewhere. , , Update in response to the owner's reply: Neli, your reply completely misses the point. I didn't pay $285 for a hidden "treasure hunt" of expensive flowers buried under a wall of heavy, fully opened pink tulips that completely changed the design and color palette. If a same-day order requires such a significant change to the overall aesthetic of the arrangement, a professional florist should contact the customer first and ask for approval rather than simply making the substitution. And yes, your suggestion that I explore other florists is one piece of advice I will definitely follow. Future customers can decide for themselves whether this level of substitution and customer service is acceptable to them.
