I came here with a groupon voucher which included a cut, keratin deep conditioning and blow dry. The best service by far in the area (including Roslindale) and the best part I walked out literally 50 minutes later!!! I'm normally at the salon for two hours so this was majorrrrr. Marsela did it all for me, her confidence bought me. She has great hands and definitely you can feel the stress coming off at the shampoo/conditioner wash. She fixed the "escalator" layers I had and blended everything well and efficiently! God she was quick! Last the blow dry, nice quick and well done. I am not one to put a business on blast bht I caMe here for the Groupon and got the deep keratin conditioning wash cut blow dry and would never come back here. I guess you get what you pay for but my hair is completely uneven. I am not going to freak out because it's hair and it will grow back but it is an awful cut. And the blow dry was terrible I can do a better job myself. No rround brush was used just fingers ???? I feel so stupid getring this cut because of a good deal. Love the staff. Super sweet and they did a great job on my hair and did okay on my daughter's hair. We heard about them through Groupon and I will definitely be returning to see Marcela. We got the full highlights, haircut, treatment and blow dry. Marcela was super sweet. My daughter's highlights were a little too spread out but Donna had a few clients in between so she was back and forth a lot. My highlights were great and spread out nicely and didn't feel rushed like my daughter's. I'd def recommend tipping them at least 20% of what it should normally cost with the amount of time they spend on our hair. Definitely worth it! The lady parted my hair in the middle to cut it, even though I told her multiple times I part it on the side normally. She told me it was to make my hair "even" but now all of the layers are on one side of my head and they're super choppy. Worst hair cut I've gotten in my life. Would not recommend. read more

I came here for a single process color, haircut and deep conditioning. I really liked Ashley but she mentioned how I'd need to pay an additional amount because I'd need to lighten my hair and then color it. I didn't have a problem with this until I saw the end result..I can barely see the highlights and on one of sections, she only colored half, so my roots are now a different color. I bought a groupon for the full highlights. When I tried to explain what I was looking for I was simply told it cannot be done. She had no interest in trying to help me figure out how to get the look I desired. If you just want a basic color it is not a bad place. However, if you want to try a new look or something that requires more skill than just a one color highlight I would not reccomend. I am an ash blonde and I've been getting highlights for years so I understand some looks take a few appointments to accomplish. I would've been willing to pay more if she needed to use more product or it required a more difficult technique. I just moved to the area and had my first cut here and loved it! It was very easy to get an appointment and they were ready to take me as soon as I walked in. The tone of the place is very warm, welcoming, and clean. Ashley cut my hair and she was very friendly and easy to chat with. The others in the salon were really nice too. Ashley did a great job with my very thick hair, gave me some great tips (without acting like she knew what I liked better than I do), and really listened to what I asked for. Reasonably priced too.
