She would ask me a question about my hair and then walk away to talk with them and direct them in the furniture movement and cleaning, and when she returned, she seemed to have forgotten she asked me a question. She wasn't paying full attention to what she was doing while cutting my hair and left some areas unfinished. When I asked her to finish them at the end of the cut, she said no, I had to go, because she was paying these people! I was astonished, as I was paying her for a service during which she did not pay full attention. She also insisted, with belligerence, that the cut was complete, when I felt it definitely wasn't, as she simply hadn't been paying attention to what areas she had finished. I got the feeling that she was frustrated and checking out, because she didn't want to be there, or at least, didn't want to be interacting with a customer. I found the situation challenging, and overall, I felt that the service was quite unprofessional.

I have been a regular customer for years. While the service was not always perfect, the results were consistently good until 2025. Earlier this year in May, I did not get the expected results. Still, I gave it another chance and returned in October. Unfortunately, the experience this time was extremely traumatic. The moment I mentioned the poor results from my last visit, Annie became unusually rough. The hair wash was rushed, with water gushing into my ears, and the blow dry felt more like torture--so forceful that it seemed intentional, almost damaging her dryer in the process. My scalp hurt, my ear was burned, and she never even offered an apology. The way the service was delivered felt harsh and deliberate, and I left with both physical pain and deep disappointment. This was by far the worst experience I've had, and it has left me questioning whether I should ever return.

For the longest time, I have always gone to salons and no one ever educated me on keeping my hair healthy. But in the end, if you want healthy hair, I'd follow Julie's choices because you can never go wrong with her amazing skills. Layers but also some blunt ends. Cut off the dead stuff, but not too short.
