I was there for a pedicure about three weeks ago... there were old pieces of nails all over the floor.  The nail tools used on me were not sterilized.  I feel the conditions have deteriorated since new ownership . They do pretty good nails. However they have no prices listed and even if you're getting the same design the prices change! I went and was told the nail length I selected was 45. I got a design and they charged $65 for the design. And it wasn't super extra. So I stopped goin because how's the design way more than the nails. I decided to give them another try. Upon first walking in I noticed what a nice clean salon they have. When I told Nancy I was there for a pedi she got my tub ready by first putting in a disposable liner, which I thought was a plus!! Kim started my pedi and I asked for a mani too and Nancy pulled up a chair and got to it. They were both so nice and professional!! Don't even waste your time making an appointment. I made an appointment the day BEFORE 08/19/2021. My appointment time was 6:15 I confirmed the appointment with a gentleman name Tony. I even left work early for this appointment. I made it to my appointment at EXACTLY 6:15 parked and walked through the door at 6:16. I informed the man at the front desk that I had a 6:15 appointment. He said okay have a seat. A young lady walked in AFTER me and I understand she got a pedicure and I was not BUT a nail tech fished a client and instead of taking me she worked on the lady that came in AFTER me. At 6:50 I asked how much longer is the wait at this point the man at the front desk says AN ADDITIONAL 15 MINUTES! Follows behind he know it's late would I like to come back tomorrow? WHY WOULDN'T YOU HONOR MY ORIGINAL APPOINTMENT TIME. You've waited til EVERY other salon close to say "I can come back tomorrow." In addition, TWO other nails techs just walked out did not try to assist. This is BEYOND poor customer service! The time now is 7:06 and still waiting! Very attentive team, they continously asked if I needed something to drink and if everything was okay. I don't give it 5 stars just because they tell you a 15 minute wait time and really it's 45 minutes. Just be honest tell me how long I'm going to wait. And 2nd because when I asked countless times can I get her(pointing at rose) they stop and speak VM , like okay. I am not sure where to begin. I recently moved to the Sugarland area, so I had to find a new nail salon. This one was my worst nightmare. My husband & I were seated in pedicure chairs and not acknowledged or offered drinks the first 20 minutes. Then, someone began to work on my hands and feet while he just sat there, no water in the bowl or anything. My pedicure was horrible. The woman shot water all over me from a hose, so much that she had to get multiple towels to clean it off the floor. She laughed and said she "just gave me a shower". She used no soap during my pedicure so every scrub felt harsh and did absolutely nothing. My husband asked for something specific and the woman told him "no". I had to talk to another person to get them to do it, and it was a simple task. My nails were supposed to be matte black. There were white specs all in them because they weren't clean. The design was supposed to be my friend that recently passed away's brand logo, but you can't even tell what it is. One of my nails were breaking underneath, and the man super glued it together. He was also very rough during the whole process. This experience was a nightmare and also expensive, which I normally do not mind for a good experience. One week later, a nail pops off and two more are lifting. I do not recommend this nail salon to anyone. Please take your hard earned money somewhere else. read more

This guy redid my nails but I had to continuously tell him they were ugly I'm not happy I'm cut I'm bleeding it's awful just for him to cut the nails off! This fucking nail shop is out dated they don't have up to date colors and only 2 damn good nail techs. Then he had the nerve to say he's doing my nails for free and if I wanted a design it would be $15 extra!!!! I am so glad I gave Unique Nails a try. The experience was better than I had expected. Lee and Helen were very friendly and took great care of me. Both ladies were gentle in their ministrations. (My cuticle aren't torn or bleeding. ) It was the first time I had an eyebrow massage as part of a eyebrow waxing. Nice little treat! I told my daughter about my experience and she plans to visit Unique Nails. I agree with other reviews. The salon and equipment looked clean. Did my nails here back in June, but it was awful. I got shellac and the nails were so bulky and misshapen and the paint was blotchy. I went back the next day and they tried to fix with another color because they said it was because I chose white and white always looks bad. Still looked terrible. And they have a no money back policy so dont waste your money here at all because it just looks awful. I went to Bella Spatique right near HEB on 59 two weeks before and the staff their was absolutely rude and the female who did my nails actually made them CROOKED and I was over-charged for a refill, so it was a nice change in atmosphere. Le did a superb job and actually was able to fix my nails in the short amount of time she could. Three ladies working today, and they all said Hello when I came in! I love a warm welcome. Lee took care of me as soon as I got in. I picked out a color for my pedicure. The station Lee used was sanitized and comfy. Let me tell you she did the best scrub on my feet. I told her please scrub my feet like they were men feet and she did just that. I had great experience at this salon. Kim did a great job! She took her time, was very friendly, and explained what she was doing. They use plastic covers for each customer in their tubs, but she explained to me that they also clean out the tubs. Just a little extra for sanitary, which I am all about.
