I had them done because Monday was my first day back to work from maternity leave so wanted to get my nails done to look nice and presentable when I returned to work. Unfortunately, my nails chipped on my first day back from typing on the keyboard :/.... really? Typing on the keyboard. That's really bad quality work done on my nails. I had the dip powder. Needless to say... I will not be back and sadly do not recommend this salon.

They go above and beyond to make you feel like a queen and listen to exactly what you want. She had an appointment (I usually just walk in) but they really took care of her. Perfect gift and I'm more than satisfied at how her nails came out but most importantly that she was relaxed and happy.

I pulled back, because it hurt. She proceeded to cut again, and I said it's okay just leave it. She left it, but came back and cut again. Their banner outside says 30% off all services, however, when I was asking for prices they were trying to give me only 20%. After I specifically told them about the sign they said okay. I paid for my mother and myself and they only discounted 27%, not the full 30%. It's only 3%, but it's about the principle. I just adjusted the tip that I left because I was not too happy. The actual paint job was disappointing. I will not be going back.

I kept noticing some minor details like my skin peeling on the side or nail polish on my skin so I had to ask my technician to fix it several times. I didn't want to seem stuck up so I basically stopped asking because I noticed she was eager to assist the 3 customers that was waiting. I was also disappointed with how the tech cut a bit into my meat. I felt a burning sensation but I thought it was nothing until I inspected it carefully after I left. It turns out she cut in too deep when cutting my cuticle... I also didn't like how some of the nail polish was on my cuticle... I don't know, we spend money hoping to get a good job well done and I didn't feel that way after. My family thought the service was alright too. Overall I think this place is ok maybe a different tech next time.

My last visit they messed up my nails and pedicure and gave me a gift certificate for the error. I blame myself for returning, but I had hopes that maybe it would be different. I went for a normal dip and pedicure for before my birthday. It was empty on a Saturday morning this should have been my first sign. I walk in to no one. The lady doing my nails was rushing and insisted on me getting dip, even asking for a tip. I explained I didn't want tips because I'm growing my nails out and showed her a picture. Before the dip, I told her one of the nail shapes was crooked. She said no worries I will fix later. Later comes, and the pics attached are what I ended up with. I started crying in the chair out of frustration and the fact that now I have to go to another place to have them fix this. Additionally, the nail tech NEVER asked what shape I wanted, she was rushing through just to get finished. They didn't offer me water or wine like the old manager did. I got the feeling I wasn't even wanted here even though it was empty. My pictures speak for themselves. Please get new nail techs.

Extremely Disappointing Experience…read more I would strongly encourage anyone considering this salon to do their research before supporting this business. My experience and what I personally witnessed regarding the treatment of employees was extremely disturbing and disappointing. The way employees were allegedly treated, including concerns about prolonged unpaid wages, is completely unacceptable. Employees deserve to be paid for their work and treated with basic respect and dignity. Mimi, who operated the salon on Dairy Ashford and Westheimer, should take a serious look at how she conducts business and how she treats the people who work for her. Businesses are built on the people who show up and work hard every day, and they deserve better. Please do better.
