I was in need of pedicure and wanted to get in and out during my lunch break. I stopped in to Q Art Nails & Spa and received the Deluxe Pedicure service by Jenny. There were 4 other clients there during my visit. No shields on the pedicure stations, however we were all distant and the techs were wearing mask and gloves. I'm not sure if the salon is always this quiet (slow), but I plan to return if I can get Jenny to do my pedicure. UPDATE: I just found out Jenny is a manager, so the likelihood of me getting a pedicure by her again was low. My guess is she just jumped in so I would not have to wait because, the other tech were occupied. read more

Used to love this place. The one lady is gone and everything is a mess. The First Lady told me to come back because they were busy. The other one said no just a few minutes somebody changed their mind. After waiting an hour I was about to leave and they started on my feet. Mi. Did a horrible job!!! Even broke my toe nail. the only person that wasn't rude and tried to fix it was the man. I will not be back. Several new people also. read more

This is why i walk out when the service and customer service is horrible i should've walked out . Sat i went in for a last min full set and polish change the manager told me to sit at a pedicure chair for a polish change ... I asked her how long will it be for my nails because i am on a time limit she ignored me and said they will work on my feet first , then while the guy who told me he had only been working there for 2 months told me it's best i get a pedicure and bribe me into a pedicure saying someone can do my nails and feet at the same time if i get a pedicure i knew i should've just said no i paid 60$ for my feet and then he asked the manager can she do my full set in 20 mins she said no it take 40 mins he told me she was a manager for 25 years and was so rude how are you a manager and can be so rude and don't care about a tip or getting money so i left didn't tip which my tip would've been very generous i have visited other salons where a manager worked on my nails and finished in 20 mins maybe 30 tops smh dissatisfied and then he didn't even scrape all of the callus off my heels of my feet read more

Who would have thought I'd be Yelping a nail salon? But have you ever been offered a complimentary alcoholic beverage at a nail salon? Plus it's so clean and pretty in here (I mean crystal chandeliers come-on)! They even lined the pedi tub so I felt way less contact with other people's barely rinsed away germs. Lol Brian at the front desk was very pleasant and checked on me several times. I got a warm neck pillow and Tasty white wine. Ohh and the chair had a part that extended your leg out so you didn't have to hold your foot up for scrubbing/scrapping/ pumice stoning... I am very disappointed to be writing this review. Since the inception of this business establishment I have been a very loyal customer even after my favorite technician Vivian left . However, today is my last day supporting Jenny the owner that blatantly does not care about customer service and loyalty. Her husband even stated that she can be stubborn at times, however she has never been stubborn about taking my money. I called to see if she could get me in, she stated not until 4pm. I said that's late. I informed her that I needed a refill, pedi, and eyebrow and asked her if anyone was avail to at least get me started before 4. She said NO, are you coming at 4 or not...I took a breath and before I could say yes or no she said bye. (Rude for someone that has been a loyal customer). Her husband called me back within approx 2 min. and asked if I could be there within 10 min. I said sure! Upon my arrival I spoke with Jenny concerning the fact that I thought her demeanor was rude over the telephone and suggested that she should work on her customer service skills. She stated that I asked her if anyone was working and how could she run a business if no one was working. I agreed with her and explained to her that was not what was implied. She then went on to say that perhaps it was her mask. I put the issue to the side, satisfied that we had discussed it and ready to move on. After Mary finished my refill and the other young lady finished my pedi, I asked who was going to do my eyebrows. They both chuckled...(Neither of them do waxing) I do not know if the chuckle was because of that or because they knew Jenny was the only one avail to do them. I asked Jenny if she was going to be doing my eyebrows? She stated definitively that she would NOT be doing my eyebrows! Upon paying for my services I asked her husband why Jenny did not want to do my eyebrows...He stated he did not know but asked her about it, and then went on to say that she can be stubborn at times. How disappointing! What a slap in the face! I wish I would have known beforehand her disposition towards me after our initial conversation, because I would have gladly taken my $$$ around the corner, across the street, or down the street to another salon that at least appeared to appreciate my $$$. I decided to go this place because it was fairly new, about 2 weeks since it had opened. As soon as I walked in I noticed this place was pretty vacant. I'm assuming they still needed to decorate. I went in for a refill and color change & I got suckered in for a pedicure. While doing my nails the lady filing my nails down hurt me several times to the point that I screamed out loud. I can handle pain but it was a heated pain & it was horrible. She said she sorry and I continued to work. Once she was done I noticed my nails very chunky, I get gel polish, but my nails seem very uneven. My index finger on my left hand seems flat and not realistic. This alone makes me not want to come back. Also while getting my nails done my fiance decided to run errands while I got my nails done and of course he finished before I did so hr cones inside and decides to do his feet. Mind you he has never done his feet before so this was new to him. All the while the woman doing his pedicure had a bothered face as if of his feet were horrific . I'm not saying he has the best feet but if it's your job your bound to encounter someone with bad feet. My fiance feeling embarrassed said he promised his other foot was not as bad as the other, the lady then laughed out loud saying she did not notice a difference. I had B, I believe that is what he prefers to be called, and he did a great job and was focused and took his time to make sure I was well taken care of. My first experience at this Spa and the results was horrible. They are by far NOT a 5 * Spa. I walked in with my daughter and immediately before choosing my Mani pedi they ushered me to a chair. I had a powered acrylic nail fill, this was done on Wednesday it's Friday and my fingers are bruised and sore from their service. I absolutly love my nails. I have been here twice and have been incredibly happy with their service and the end result. I even came with my hubby this last time. I highly recommend this place. This time I came with a pic of what I wanted but weren't sure what color to pick and My helped me out. She listens to what you want and really puts all her effort to get it done the way you want. I definitely would not be back. I dropped by with my mom as our "treat yo self" day, and I was surprised it was empty, but I know now why. First, let me talk about how the workers would just kept talking in their language and would give you the looks that they are talking about you. Second, she nipped my skin off 3 times and I even told them that it hurts, but she kept going and covered it up with alcohol, which made it even more painful. Was in the neighborhood and desperately needed a pedicure. Swung by this new nail salon and I'm so glad I did! It was decently busy for a Sunday afternoon but I didn't have to wait very long. It was super clean and well decorated and the staff were friendly and did an amazing job. As soon as I sat down, I was offered a glass of wine and the massage chairs were delightful. There's a menu of different options - definitely something for everyone and I thought the prices were really fair. I think I found my new nail place! I went here for the first time tonight to get a mani/pedi with shellac. The girls who did my nails were amazing and super sweet, talking to them was quite nice. They were also super gentle and really paid attention to what they were doing. I didn't feel rushed or like just another number--I really felt cared about as a customer. You get what you pay for. The lady who did my nails was so rough when pushing back my cuticle that when she sprayed the alcohol I nearly hit the ceiling! No one offered us a drink until I asked...after the lady who came in 25 minutes after us was seated and offered a drink. Also, I find it very disrespectful to say something in another language to all of the other nail stylist and they all look up and stare at you. So rude. First time here and I was quite impressed with the level of attention given to me by several employees. It's a small nail spa, very unassuming, yet the nail techs are quite skillful. I received a classic pedicure with gel polish. The service was reasonably priced, compared to other salons within a 3 mile radius. There were ample gel color options. I actually like this nail salon but only gave it three stars because in the past I have not received consistent service. Only when Jenny or Laila does my nails am I happy. I'm a regular here and have been since the grand opening. I don't go to many other nail shops outside of this one unless it's an emergency and I'm not close to Q Art Nails. I've also gotten great service and the nail techs are always very helpful when I have one of my indecisive days ( I can never seem to choose a nail color lol). They always offer me a beverage upon arrival and i find that I can relax a lot here. Being that I'm a nurse, I don't get my finger nails done often and mainly get pedicures. If I do choose to get them they always find a nice neutral or nude color that won't stand out too much at work. Try them out, every nail shop is not going to be perfect, but I really enjoy this place. Not sure what I'm going to do when I move in a few months. I will definitely miss coming here! read more

I went in for a simple eyebrow wax. The technician was extremely rough. She did not prep my eyebrows for the waxing process. The wax was extremely hot and she did not cool it down. Once I made it to my car I looked in my rear view mirror and notice a glob of wax on the side of my face. OMG now I realize why a customer at the front kept staring at me. Poor service!! read more

Won't be back. Decided to try this place out since it is new and near my house. The place smelled ok and looked pretty clean, but I noticed a few things that are not ok - reusing tools and nail techs using their personal phones while working. I should have just left, but was short on time so I stayed. Just as the woman was starting to work on my callouses her phone rang VERY loudly and I guess it startled or distracted her and she took a chunk of live skin off the bottom of my foot. Just moved to the area and after looking all the reviews on nail salons in the area, I decided to come here. They are the only ones who do more for what you pay! More than 20 minutes just on massaging my legs with I guess eucalyptus oil! Then with warm rocks and so on! I was in heaven for a bit lol but yes they are great! I went to Minnie or Minny? I get maybe one pedicure every few years so I make them count. My technician asked me many questions about how i wanted my feet to look, which I appreciated. I rated this place a one because of the poor customer service and the lack of technical skill for the service I requested as well as the unusually warm and uncomfortable temperature they kept the salon the entire time I was there. The one is hardly deserved. I came in for a mani/pedi with a full set. I had been wearing my natural nails with shellac for sometime and wanted try something different and thought to give this place a try. I had one special request...chrome nails. First I consulted with the manager. She explained the prices and said that they could do the chrome nails and asked me to pick a color. After selecting a color for my toes I sat down for my services. The toes came out nice. However the nail tech struggled with the chrome application process. The polish application looked super thick (like a kindergarten child did it) and was full of bubbles. I asked her to correct the issue she filed the polish down with the drill and started again. Same issue. I could see she was doing the process wrong. I showed her pics online and she said it was photoshop. No!!! You are applying this wrong! After she did it the second time, each time it looked worse, I asked her to remove it completely. The manager came over and said oh you have to get it on your real nails to work and look flat on the powder it looks like this. BS!!! The bubbles would be there on my real nails too. I was so upset. I asked them to remove everything and said I won't be paying for it. She offered to just do a plain polish to March my toes and said I wouldn't be charged for the chrome. You're damn skippy I shouldn't be charged for the chrome. She charged me anyway and refused to remove the charge from my card and told me she was very sorry. Terrible. I am not satisfied and will be contacting the better business bureau. Unacceptable. Very upset. read more
