UPDATE REVIEW:7/25/3017 Had another appointment with Angelica. She is still providing superb facials! I got my brows wax by her and OMG she's is very OCD about how it has to look perfect. I love my brows now and will be going to her. She's able to meet the standards that I have not even had anybody could. If I'm not getting a facial, I would still use her waxing service. Also will be looking into more services that she provides. And I found out she goes for training constantly in order to keep up with the trends and new methods that come out. Update/Reply: I was on time but not familiar with the new policies enacted during the pandemic. The pandemic and subsequent issues are also the reason why I didn't complete my sessions with Abby. If it mentioned that the acne clearing facial was needed to address my cheeks, I missed it. If I had known prior to and not after the fact, I would feel better making an informed decision. Thank you for explaining the time issue. I'm budgeting and adjusting like I know most of us are during this time. I did mention to Anthony my surprise during checkout after he spoke with you. Overall the work done was very good. The only issue I have is the pricing today. ---------------------------------------------------- I just completed my 3 series facial package I purchased. Abby completed the first 2 and Angelica did my final one today. The facials were great. My skin is glows and smooth. Both ladies did a lovely job. I'm taking stars for the lack of pricing clarity. Upon arrival Angelica remarked that my skin looked great and asked if I had on any makeup. I didn't and washed my face and applied a light moisturizer before arriving. She stated we were doing the classic facial and asked if I had any concerns. I showed her my cheeks has small areas of congestion. She said she would address it during extractions. Both of my previous facials included extractions. Toward the end of my 45 minute facial - website says 1 hour - she asked if I wanted a hydrojelly mask and that it's $20 upgrade. I agreed since I've been wanting to try one. As I'm checking out, I'm told I received the acne clearing facial - I don't have acne. My skin is not bad and for the $48 price increase in addition to the $20 felt like a ripoff. At no point was I informed that my facial was not the classic... though 45 minutes total... I would have liked more guidance on what products best fit my skin type besides the products that they have available for purchase (which can be purchased at Ulta). I came here in hopes of getting a series of peels. I got my first peel and was looking forward to the result. The esthetician gave me instructions on how to take care of my skin as it was peeling but wasn't very thorough. I've had plenty of facials in my life so I know somewhat when a step might be missing and I did ask plenty of questions to make sure I understood. Anyway she said the receptionist would text me what I need. I waited for a few mins for the text and never got it so I went back inside and asked again explaining that I was going to the store to get the items after leaving my facial. She said ok. I waited longer and never got them so I went and asked again to which I was met with attitude and she sent the text right there while I was waiting (don't know why she didn't just send it when she said she would). I also forgot to mention that when booking my next appointment I couldn't get in until a little over a month later, and as I was trying to pick a date the receptionist was rushing me in a rude way. I really didn't appreciate the poor customer service on her part. I had a good peel but once my skin stopped peeling I didn't know what to do because I didn't have thorough instructions so I called back and my estie wasn't available. I was told she would get back to me next day and she never did. 2 days went by and the office contacted me asking what my questions were and that they would relay them instead of just letting me speak to the person who did my facial and ask questions like any other establishment I've been to. I never got my questions answered and I cancelled my upcoming appointment. The products I did have from them made my skin worse. I found somewhere else to go and my experience has been great. I've only been one time and I love it here! I met with Paulina and I feel like she did an amazing job on my face. I haven't been to an aesthetician in over a decade so I wasn't sure what I needed. She stated my skin was pretty healthy so a routine facial with dermaplaning would help to make my skin feel smooth and it did just that. I also did a jelly type mask and that made my face feel really supple and moisturized. I appreciate them not trying to over sell me with options I didn't need. The atmosphere is very relaxing, very clean and smells so good. I met with a lady who looking back might be the owner and she was very sweet and answered all my questions as well. Wow...... This facial stands out from the rest. She is honest, ethical and passionate. She used every minute I was there unlike other places. While the mask was drying, she would give me a scalp massage with peppermint oil. I can definitely feel the difference. My clogged pores are almost gone, skin is baby smooth, dry patches disappeared as well. I love that she was not pushy like other places where they try to sell their products, push for you to get more services. She is a must! You'll get hooked. The environment was very relaxing and she took her time throughout the procedure. I was looking to get a chemical peel to jumpstart my skin care journey after neglecting it for a year or so. Every place in the area was charging almost 300 bucks for one peel, which I cannot afford. I saw Angelica was offering peels for a fair price and she had rave reviews so I called her and set up a time. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by Angelica who had such a nice aura and immediately I felt I was in good hands. She asked me what my goals were and suggested a facial + salicylic peel for my skin type. I was wary of the facial, because my past two experiences elsewhere left me with volcanic eruptions on my face that lasted weeks.
