On my first visit I tried to tell the injector I normally do a conservative amount of Botox. He talked me into an exorbitant amount of Dysport instead, which wound up costing almost double what I normally pay. The middle of my forehead froze totally and I wound up with Spock eyebrows. Had to go back in to try to fix it, which he overdid. For a week I had one frozen brow and one that moved, so I looked like a crazy person. It eventually almost evened out but now both eyes droop. This injector not only doesn't listen to his clients but also has an inflated sense of his abilities. He is too reckless to be working on people's faces. In addition, after my initial injection we had a consultation in which he recommended 8 syringes of filler to me, someone who has never had any filler at all. Eight! I waited a week to make a review, because I wanted to see how well the dysport settled. OK, so I was on the fence about coming here because the reviews are hit or miss. Even my girl, former Yelp, community manager, Farrah wrote a review of her terrible experience. They were holding a special, so I thought I would give them a try. I ended up having a great experience. Alonso, the owner and injector, and his daughter, who is part of the business came in and gave me a consultation. They suggested the recommended amount of dysport. (Which I love way better than Botox - it holds better with me). I've always been on the fence about the recommended dose of Botox and dysport because does a 20 year old really need the exact same amount of a 55 year old (I am not 55). I told them that I was not comfortable with the amount they suggested, and let me also say that I have been to businesses that suggest the recommended amount as well. I always politely decline. I have used Botox and disport for years and I know what works with my face. Do t be afraid to speak up. You may get some push back - but it's YOUR face. I feel like they listened to me and I was injected with the amount I was comfortable with. Alonzo was quick and not to mention super nice. He and his daughter mentioned that if anything looked wonky to come back and they will take care of it. Honestly, I've never heard a business say this to me. I've never had any issues. It made me a little bit nervous this was said... Because I thought, do mishaps happen all the time here? Is that why they are saying this? He walked into the room and acted like nothing happened. :: Alonso promised he'd do my Botox. He didn't. :: He *did* do my fillers, and I had bumps for weeks. Normally, you can massage those out on your own, but they still didn't go away. :: I witnessed the medspa tech double dip the q-tip applicator into the numbing cream after she already touched my face with it. :: I was supposed to get a cash discount, 3 referral discount and a discount for his no show - but Lord knows how much or even WHAT I was charged for because I can't get them to send me an itemized receipt. I've asked via phone and via their online contact form. No response. I paid $800 for about 35 units of Botox and however many units of who knows what kind of filler - they won't get back to me. :: "Botox" lasted about a week. No joke. Friends were shocked when I sent them pictures. My sister and I went to Botox RN for lip fillers. Alonso Perez,RN came in the room smoking an unknown substance and start injecting my sister and I with lip fillers without explaining the procedure. My sister even asked if he was smoking and he just smiled and nodded his head. After the procedure was completed we expressed our concerns about how uneven they were but we were told it was normal and to follow up in 2 weeks if they appear the same way. Unfortunately, we had to return on 09/07/23. Alonso, RN was upset that we returned and made a statement "I'm losing money". He came in the room and looked at me lips and told his staff member to numb me without telling me what was being done and left the room. He did not get my consent. He came back to the room and I asked him what he was going to do he said "I'm going to fix it". He started to inject me with a syringe which was not labeled. He did not even tell me what brand or specify what he was injecting. I know how crucial it is as nurses to educate patients on any procedures or medication and getting an informed consent. Nurses use "5 rights" before administrating any medication, however, Alonso, RN failed to do so. This is extremely concerning as a patient when a RN comes in to a room smoking an unknown substance and then starts performing a procedure which he botched. Additionally, coming back again as a patient and not being explained on what exactly is going to be done or the product that is going to be used is unacceptable. I don't this is acceptable behavior for a nurse and is also unsafe for patients. I would highly recommend not to go to this place. Don't fall for the low prices like I did. He will botch your fillers or Botox and will say "this has never happened before". He never wants to take responsibility, he's not professional, he always brags about how much money he has. His "so call assistant/manager" is always following him around, and answering on his behalf. She's not a injector or a nurse but acts like she's the boss making falls claims. She says " 7 out of 10 will have issues with lip fillers migrating". She makes false claims and acts like she's the injector. Mr. Alonso, talks highly of how many years he has been injecting, but fails to provide the proper services. When I went back to get my fillers fix he asked me to pay money for his mistake. Even after getting it re done by him, it is still not fixed. I called the office and his "so call" assistant/manager answered the phone and said "he no longer wants to see us as a clients" instead of fixing the issue. My lips are now uneven, now I have to go somewhere else to get it fixed. BEWARE he's a FRAUD including his "so call" assistant/manager who is an esthetician. Don't go to her. She acts like she knows what she is doing, and is not certified. read more

I went here for Dysport on forehead 60 units were used for 2 light wrinkles I had. I'm 37 years for reference. About 5 days after the treatment I noticed my right eye was droopy and I had a bump on my upper left side of my eyebrow. I called to go in and see what could be done to fix this. Alonso said to give it A FEW WEEKS... that was his response. Now I am suppose to walk around with one droopy eye and a noticeable bump on my forehead. This is not acceptable and his response was so indifferent. As a patient you want to be treated with care. Don't go here and just pay a little extra and go somewhere that you will be treated and cared for the right way. Here you will end up looking worse that when you arrived. I DO NOT recommend BotoxRN and MedSpa. I used to go to Advanced Laser Solutions in Houston. This MedSpa apparently purchased Advanced Laser Solutions after the owner passed away. I paid for and received Botox and Filler injections prior to the previous owner passing away and I still had a credit of 5 units of Botox, which was placed in my file as a credit because not all Botox that I paid for was used in my last visit. Today, I called Advanced Laser Solutions (the number is still in my phone, but rang to BotoxRN and MedSpa). I was told they would NOT honor my credit, even though they purchased the business, gave me some BS story they DO NOT have access to the records/what was on file (if they purchased the business, you and I both know they have my records and a record of what was purchased and what I had left available). I was also told they gave clients a year after the previous owner's passing to use what they had on file (again, stories DO NOT line up) and I NEVER RECEIVED A CALL!! This company is full of BS and they lie over 5 units of Botox that I paid for (it is/was in my file with Advanced Laser Solutions, the company they purchased). Jerks! read more

After 30 minutes, I decided to leave to find the gentleman I was there to see eating lunch in the break area. I saw Brian for fillers under my eyes as well as my cheeks. He injected 5 syringes of Versa, charged me $1500 (special price) and horrible result. First of all my face looks very asymmetrical, he filled under the right eye but not the left eye. He filled the laugh line on the left side but not the right side! Even the injection that I had on my temples do not look the same (right side is more plump than left side). I do not see any volume on my cheek bones either. Not happy with the result at all and they all blame it on my face to not be symmetrical to begin with!!! Today I came in for my followup appointment, I thought they are going to correct these at no cost to me. But of course I was wrong, all they care is just selling not the result. They wanted to charge me again for another syringe to correct under my left eye! and I left. I don't trust them, they would ruin my face even more. I wont never ever go back to Botox RN. read more

This was my second visit to BotoxRN and while my first visit wasn't necessarily 5 stars, I figured I would return because I had been before and the Botox was on special for $9 a unit. I went in today along with my sister, as this was her first experience with Botox and so I recommended her to go in with me. Had I known what happened to my sister, I would have left before anyone came in the room to treat me, but I didn't find out until after I came out, but I'll get to that. When a woman (or a man) goes into any medispa, typically it's because maybe she or he has something they don't necessarily love and would like to get a little help with. Well, never in my life have I gone somewhere like this and left feeling completely down on myself and awful about my appearance. I wore my mask the whole time and while being injected, I was asked if I ever thought about doing anything for my "extremely large and noticeable pores, skin (sun) damage, hyperpigmentation, acne scarring and frown lines". I'm 36. I haven't spent a lot of time in the sun because I'm so fair and I was a little taken aback because I also try and take great care of my skin and use great products. I also don't have acne scarring and occasionally do get normal breakouts during that time of the month, but I was honestly shocked. I felt cornered and like I was being upsold and just really uncomfortable. I went ahead and booked a microneedling session because it's something I was considering doing anyway and due to the special they're having I figured I would go ahead and schedule it; however after talking with my husband about the experience and asking him if I really looked as awful as they thought I looked at BotoxRN, I decided what my experience was there wasn't normal and I won't be returning. When we lived in Vegas, I went to the NP at my cosmetic surgeon's office and he was so thorough and paid attention to the symmetry of my face and brows and wanted to really make sure he gave me the appropriate look and amount. This was so quick and I felt like he hardly even looked at my face before pumping in the Botox. I haven't ever been sore or bruised only a few hours after Botox. I bruised the first time I came here as well, but this time is worse. I really feel like if your heart is in the right place, ask someone if they have any concerns they'd like to y'all about with an aesthetician before completely tearing someone apart in order to sell more services. Maybe that's just me. My sister was given Dysport today after she specifically asked for Botox and she told me that she was told she needed about 5k in work done and she also left feeling pretty rotten, which really upset me because I was the one who recommended BotoxRN to her. She wasn't even aware she didn't get Botox until she went back inside to make sure her Brilliant Distinctions was notified of her Botox purchase so she got credit and she found out after paying that she didn't even get Botox! Long story short, not a pleasant or even semi-pleasant experience. Neither my sister or I asked for this advice and while I understand that maybe it's typical for some places and/or people to behave in this way to sell more, but it's not the right way to do it. I felt so extremely embarrassed honestly that I had been walking around thinking the little bit of Botox I was doing was making me feel and look my best and yet the rest of my face obviously needs a ton of work according to them. Neither of us will be returning. Also, I'm only giving 2 stars here because my first experience wasn't near this bad. I'm so disappointed. I'm in the medical field, so I understand that things happen. Had 72 units of botox in my forehead , didn't work, at all. Taylor was very sweet, but as she was treating me, I could feel liquid running down my face because the syringe was leaking, so I'm not sure how much actually got into my forehead. The assistant did bring her another half full syringe, as they looked at each other knowingly, because they could see how much was pouring down my face. I called and went back after 2 weeks . Taylor put 16 more units to try to remedy the poor results. Very little change. She kindly said ,please call me and come back if this doesn't work? I'm busy too, and shouldn't have to be going back and forth. I didn't call. Not because I think she isn't knowledgeable, but more because, I think they mixed it poorly, and charged me, hoping it'll work, and if it doesn't, they just call you back to put in a little more....that shows me they have no respect for anyone else's time. Alonzo took over 1k from my wife. He told her that 2 injections would tighten her jaw line for our 20 year anniversary on june 3rd. June 3rd came and went. No difference! We went back and he had his assistant come in and do 1 injection and was told if it didn't work come back 4-6 weeks. Here we are around 8 weeks later still no difference! When I asked what he was going to do his assistant said he may honor half of the 1k since he gave her the last one gratis. ( at no time was any thing mentioned of being " gratis " so I said no I want to talk to him because we paid 1k and no results. She left to room and came back and said he was busy and would not honor the refund or do another injection. They are a fraud and steal money ! This business will not be around for long with that type of service or lack of I should say. I will be contacting the local news " Adkins army" and filing a small claims. I once heard that good Botox isn't cheap & cheap Botox isn't good. Well, Botox rn MediSpa blew that theory out of the water. I saw a special they were advertising for summer & the discount on filler & Botox was enticing. I've been loyal to my Botox lady for about 10 years but she recently moved out to the clear lake area & it's just to far if a drive for me to follow.
