Brunch @uniquefoodattitudes in #londonontario was AMAZING! The owner #bosslady was so sweet, attentive and welcoming. 10/10 customer service! Thank you Barbara for an amazing meal! Can't wait to come try your strawberry pierogies! #supportlocal #ontariofoodie #polish #womensupportingwomen

Ham and Swiss crepe and mushroom and cheese crepe. Simple nice breakfast.

I like the interior and the atmosphere of this place. The waiter was super friendly and nice. Loved their pancake...donuts were too sweet for me though. The breaded pork cutlet was not bad, but I wish they had some special sauce to go with it. Felt something was missing. Update: Enjoyed crepe breakfast. It was warm and cozy meals. I had both ham and Swiss and mushroom and cheese crepes. I personally liked mushroom better. Their customer service was outstanding. I could spend really good time there. :)

Polish special ($9.50)- cabbage roll and 4 pierogis

Unique Food Attitudes is perhaps the strangest name for a restaurant that I've encountered. But don't let that deter you, because it's my favorite restaurant I've found in London in the two months I've been here so far. The most surprising thing about Unique Food Attitudes is the upscale, modern, polished interior. The prices and food quality are what you'd expect at a typical hole-in-the-wall ethnic food place, but the atmosphere is what you'd expect at a trendy city bistro in LA or New York. The menu is small and seems to consist mostly of pretty traditional Polish food -- things like goulash, meat cutlets with cabbage salad, stuffed cabbage rolls, and of course pierogis. Perhaps surprisingly for an Eastern European restaurant, there are a good number of vegetarian options, too! I tried a blackboard special of one cabbage roll and four pierogis. The presentation of the food was delightful, with an adorable little plate for the sour cream and slick-looking white china dishes. I had my choice of pierogi fillings, and picked the potato and cheddar, which were great (although served on the lukewarm side; they could have been hotter.) The cabbage roll was quite large. I've had stuffed cabbage in the past with a stuffing that's maybe 60/40 meat/rice; this one was probably 20/80 meat/rice. But the flavor was great. My guy tried the krokiety, which were like pan-fried crepes (sort of like egg rolls) filled with a mushroom/cabbage mixture. It was served with borscht, which (unlike most borscht I've had) was a thin broth without any "stuff" in it. The flavor was fantastic; I want to figure out how to make it myself! We made an impulse buy of a Polish donut with custard. It was delicious, although there wasn't actually very much filling in it. Recommendation: if you get it to go, throw it in the microwave for a few seconds to make it warm/less dry. Entrees range from $9.50 - $15. They also serve breakfast sandwiches and coffee in the morning. There's metered parking on the street; if you park on English street a little ways down, you can park for an hour for free. That should be enough time; we visited on a weekday at around noon and the place was packed, but we were still in and out in under an hour. One big way in which Unique Food Attitudes could improve: they should hire another person for the lunch rush. One poor frazzled guy was manning the cash register, taking care of take-out orders, and providing waiter service to the entire restaurant. This guy was impressive; he remained attentive, friendly, and professional in spite of being obviously overworked. But it meant that we had to wait for quite a while to take our order; it would be a more pleasant customer experience to have another staff member.

Hidden and tucked away. Their pierogies and sausage was delicious as was the cucumber salad. Great service, highly recommended!

J&B Family Restaurant is a quite little nook during the day and super packed in the evenings. It…read moreserves great food day and night; its great for a quite family lunch as well as a dinner party. We were here for a weekend lunch and there were folks there for a late breakfast as well as another family with small children having a meal together. Based on the phone calls, it sounded like the place was booked full out that evening. We had (table of four): - Mixed Grill Platter (for two): it fed more like 3 - 4 people, lots of variety to pick at; Sausage (pork), Chevaps (pork and beef sausages), Raznjici (pork), Chicken Schnitzel and Karadjordjeva Schnitzel (Pork rolled & stuffed with prosciutto and cottage cheese) - Vienna Schnitzel (pork) - all the dishes comes with (potatoes OR rice) AND vegetables (buttered carrots, beans, broccoli, cauliflower); various potato sides (like crispy fries) as available and rice (like tomato gypsy based) There was enough food for four people plus leftovers as a side for dinner. The sauce was great on everything from the schnitzel to the fries. Service was quick, food was great, and it was all at a great value. Will be back to try their buttered fried mushrooms and nature (mushroom) schnitzel in future. A local staple!

The food was good, but the service was great! Inside, it had a nice ambiance and was unexpected…read more(especially being across from a homeless encampment and metro station). The server was very attentive and friendly. The salad was good; however, the pork chop was a little dry, but it had good flavor, and the veggies were delicious. I will be back to try other dishes when in the area again.
