I recently had some additional breast surgeries needed to repair my TRAM reconstruction from 2010. After 2 years of surgeries and recovery, I finally had healed enough to purchase a new bra. I met with Glenda Rodriguez in November, 2023, and received kind, compassionate care attempting to evaluate my unique needs. She was extremely generous and it brought tears to my eyes to receive such understanding of what I had been through. A very pleasant and unique shopping experience. These ladies are lovely!! My 18 yr old daughter and I went there on a whim last week to shop for wigs after her recent hair loss due to cancer. We interrupted their lunch break but they never once hesitated to help us - three of them invested time with us, including the boutique owner. They assisted us with picking out a perfect wig and even billed our insurance. We received the wig today and it is GORGEOUS! I probably should have read the sign a little better before I went wandering in here, this is a store that sells post mastectomy beauty supplies. But still with October quickly approaching I'll take it upon myself as a woman and a daughter affected by breast cancer to tell everyone about this place. They have all kinds of great stuff to help a woman feel good during her recovery. They have wigs and other hair accessories, even down to swimsuits and everything in between. Be wary. I visited for info prior to surgery. Never bought anything. Never authorized the purchase of anything. Never gave them my prescription. Months later Unique Boutique submitted $11,000+ in claims against my health insurance for mastectomy bras and prosthetics. I couldn't believe it. I called and demanded that they withdraw the claims but they took no action until Blue Cross demanded so. While this claim was on Blue Cross books, I could not go to any other vendor and actually get the mastectomy garments I needed. And I was having to deal with this all during chemo. Maybe they were once the only game in town and are resting on their laurels...if you have breast cancer, the last thing you need is poor service and pushy sales clerks. My first & second experience here were both the same -- horrible. This is a store for women who are going through breast cancer - never easy to walk into a store to pick out your new wig or new prosthetic bra. This was my first experience and I would warn any woman from shopping in this store unless you want to leave in tears. I walked in to look at wigs and the woman who does the wig fittings said "oh what a shame you are going to loose that long thick beautiful hair". WHO SAYS THAT??!!! I was horrified - however did not know where else to go. I did order a wig thru them and I am still fighting with them thru my insurance about reimbursement. Fraud alert... please be careful when you order custom breast forms. custom breast forms comes 2 in a set. There procedure is: first they create 1 and let you try. if you are ok with it, then they create the 2nd one. when they gave me my first one, it was way way too big, looks like someone else's. they tried to modify it but it was not even close to my size, it was still too big. They said they can't fix it. Owner of the unique boutique told me that they have to re-do everything and for that they have to claim my insurance again which is more than $5000. when I argue more, owner said, "we can't do anything, we got the money from your insurance. you find some other business do it for you". she didn't give me my 2nd form. I called insurance for help, my insurance called her and she told her all lie. she said, they didn't' modify it, instead they created a new set and they gave me 2 forms. I told insurance that I don't have whole set as I never satisfied with the first one so they didn't created the another one. insurance can't help as I reached out after their complain window, you have to reach out to insurance within certain days after that they can't help you. I lost more than $5000 and didn't get correct breast forms, the one they gave me is too big. please take written notes from them on the forms. read more

I waited 6 months after surgery, radiation and the follow up visit to search for a bra. Marcia Reed met me at the door with a big smile. She took her time and carefully fitted me.
